🤓 What to expect in this short yoga class:
If you want a breakdown of how to link breath to motion in your yoga practice, Breath to Motion is what you're looking for! So many students have asked this exact question: "How do I link my breath to my movements in yoga?" This yoga class answers that question - and you'll also enjoy a great yoga session too.
Linking breath to motion is often found in Sun Salutations and Vinyasa Yoga, yet it applies to any form of yoga that you practice. "Vinyasa" in Sanskrit can loosely be defined as linking breath to movement with awareness. There are many benefits of linking breath to motion. You will improve your focus and concentration, and also experience more presence and mindfulness on the mat. In addition, when we connect our breathing with our movement, we gain a deeper sense of awareness to keep our practice strong and safe.
This is a great class if you're newer to yoga or if you want to deepen your understanding of Vinyasa-style yoga. It's also a great refresher for any level practitioner as a simple practice you can come to anytime you want to work on linking breath to motion.

Ashton is my favorite yoga instructor! I practiced yoga long time ago yet started to addicted to yoga once I found her "gentle yoga flow" class. I've been doing Yoga 3-4 times a week for like 2 years. Yet this "going back to basics" was the best Yoga session I've had in a long like. I typically do link breath to motion. Yet focusing on that specifically made it even better.
