@@mikeo4745 I'm really liking it so far. I'm on my third day and I'm a little over 20% done with the first of six courses. And that's because I'm doing them while I'm at work. I should be able to put more time in on my days off. It's very interactive. I'm horrible at learning outside of a classroom. But Aceable is very interactive. They even have a narrator that reads the pages to you. That's helped me a lot because I have a hard time focusing. If I start to drift I just read the page over again while they're narrating.
@@isaachodges4001 Ok I need a course that's interactive. I took Kaplan sometime last year but with covid, I didn't end up finishing it. Bummer. But it was very boring. They just give a PDF textbook and that's it. Read it all. I prefer something that is a little more interactive.

Glad you got to using Groupon! I think for most part no matter where you get it, it's going to be a lot of reading but I liked they add some videos and some interactive learning to break it up some. Good luck!

Great video. Im at the end of the course looking forward to the final exam. I have a question. You said there was a voice option were they will read it to you. Im unable to locate it. Please help. Thanks!!
The voiceovers were only available for a couple of the courses. I didn’t realize it until I made it to a course that didn’t have it. At the time I asked AceableAgent and they said they were working on the rest of them. You may want to reach out to them to see what happened.

How was it?
I purchased this course at the end of January & I love it! The only issue I’ve had is that I find myself taking A LOT of notes which seems to be making the process longer than would it needs to be. Do you have any recommendations or tips on note taking? I work 40 hours a week & am also a wife & a mom & i just want to find ways to make the process go quicker!
I started taking notes but realized it was slowing me down too much. I would recommend using the course summaries as notes and only write down something if it’s a must or math examples. The summary and practice test will help you pass the course exam.

Thanks for the video. Can you please explain the 'testing' part in greater detail? I know there is a test at end of each course... is it proctored? If so, is it included with the purchase of this program or is there an additional fee for each test? Is this test timed? Do we have to schedule the test in advance? Can a 'failed' test be retaken again? If so, any fees or required review prior to doing so?
Hi! Yes, they are proctored so you’ll be routed to a third party for testing/monitoring while you take each exam. Yes, they are included in the purchase price. Yes, it is timed. I believe it’s a 2 hour time window but you can double check that. There’s ample time to complete the exams. Once you complete the course it will walk you through how to schedule the exam. It is scheduled in advance but they’re pretty flexible with schedule times. Yes, you can retake it. I believe up to 3x but you’d need to confirm with the program guidelines.

I'm with Kaplan for the Texas re licensing and it is boring lol. They just give a text book. Nothing interactive. Just read the textbook.
As long as you get through it! I think it's a lot of reading anywhere. There were many times I just wanted to be done! lol
@@brinagordon I actually switched over to aceable to finish the rest of my courses. I noticed right away aceable is definitely a lot more enjoyable to read. The text is straight to the point and no unnecessary text. Kaplan's textbooks had confusing text and sometimes didn't make sense. I like how aceable have it in a slideshow so it doesn't look like a lot at plain sight. Also the small videos are nice to look at. I small quizes between text were nice. Nothing major but at least it's something. Kaplan was just a confusing textbook haha. Aceable definitely has it organized better. So far, I like it 10x better than Kaplan.
How many of you all tried out this program from Texas? If so is it really legit? I'm looking forward to start sometime soon.
I'm in Texas. Aceable Agent is legit, you can also look schools to ensure they're qualified.

I used Aceable and passed on July 20. I Check out Prep Agent if you have time. The review sessions for Irene and Winner were great!

How long did it take you to complete the course. Like if I wake up and log on and complete like 4-6 hours daily when can I finish
Hi Angela, that's really based on how quickly you get through the material. I worked full time, so I went at a slower pace, but if you if make it priority I'm sure you could finish a lot quicker.
Hey my real estate sista!! I been with Aceable for the last 5 months, I'm on my 4 course, It's been hard, with me being a wife, mom and working part time to finish my courses, but I've made a decision to stop work until I finish, thank God I have my husband to take over financially during these hard times, but I have to get done! I'm praying for you and we got this!!!!

Hey I have a question is the final test I’m about to take on aceable the official national exam? Then all I have to do is the state exam? Or do I have to do this aceable exam & then do national then do state? Let me know if that question was hard to understand
Aceable exams are only for the courses. You'll still need to register for the state and national exam separately.
@@brinagordon oh really so I can just go take this test then😂 I thought this final test of 100 questions on aceable was the official test , I have another question then, so can I use notes on this aceable final test? I saw somewhere u said their recording us
Good evening! Once you complete the course is the proctored exam the actual test to get the license or is that the pretest and you still have to take the state exam?
You must complete a final test after each course and those certificates are turned in to allow you to register to take the state/national exams, so it all goes together but the course exams are not the final exams for your license. Hi, all of the final exams per course are 60 questions. Each level assessment only has around 3-5 depending if you miss any as you take them.

Hi Brina! I just started the course about 3 weeks ago and I feel like I’m going by extremely slow because I want to write down everything. Do you think that’s necessary for the test or was the study materials they provide enough?
No, I definitely don’t think you need to write everything down. I would make a note every now and then of something really important or math examples. The reviews are what I studied to take the final exams.

Hello, i just recently purchased the course through groupon and i tried to redeem the code and it went through and then it took me to typeform, i have no clue what this typeform is and is this part of it?

Hi! Currently studying for my first aceable agent test for RE Principles. What is the process like? How exactly is the "open book" format done? Was it challenging?
Caitlyn Johnston You’ll take test through a 3rd party site, like I mentioned in the video. Honestly, not my favorite part of the setup. They’ll pretty much watch you take the test like if you were at a facility. Um, nothing is open book. You can have scratch paper, calculator and writing utensil. They’ll have you scan the room before starting the test. No, I don’t think it was challenging as long as you study. I review the summaries and take the practice test and that’s work for me so far.
So you can’t use your notes for the final exam ?

Hey Brina! I've been thinking of getting into real estate, but idk if this legit or a scam 😩 does it matter what path you take for the certification or so?
You’re concerned what part is a scam? AceableAgent isn’t but I can’t speak about any other school. I haven’t really heard of anyone having any issues with their school of choice, it just depends where you want to go or how you learn best.

I’m currently using Aceable Agent & I like it so far (I’m on level 18) but I haven’t taken my test yet, so I guess we will see. They do add humor which I appreciate because lets be honest some of the material we are expected to learn is boring. Humor always helps!
I will say I have noticed a few grammatical errors in the course, which is slightly concerning considering it is an accredited course.
I agree, the grammatical errors were concerning. I would have hoped they had corrected them by now. I kept saying I would screenshot them when I saw them and send them an email, but never did.
How was your experience, is it worth it?
@@Zzz...1997 I failed the exam on the first try & honestly felt very unprepared. I studied a lot, using Aceable practice tests & was getting 96% on them.
I am now studying using PrepAgent, which is very helpful & similar to the questions on the exam. I’ll reschedule and take it again though.

How much was it for the final through the 3rd party and also are they viewing us through camera or just access via screen? Thanks in advance! Trying to decide and I've narrowed it down to 2 courses.
You don’t pay any additional to take your course exams. They’re viewing you as well.

I am not impressed with aceable. Audio only works sometimes which is why I am not impressed. I wanted to learn in my car. Customer service is not that great either. They have very few hours you can call for help.
i got the California version and i don't like how its setup it has 3 courses but its not broken up into 3 and its a long ass study guide with a lot of useless information. what do you think
I had some issues with audio as well, but sometimes when I switched devices I was able to hear it. I thought it was because I had an older phone at the time.
Is the propter exam close to what we studied?
I would say so. I always took the practice exam before and passed course exam on the first try.

I’m still finishing but I also work full time so I’m not able to dedicate as much to studying as I’d like to at times.

Yes, there's a time limit. You'd have to confirm with them what it is.

As far as I know you get the same course on Groupon. You have access to their online course, things like the reviews and summaries are pdf. The actual course can’t be pdf because it’s interactive and you have to test out of each course. Hope that helps.
