- With Summer around the corner, I thought it'd be fun to recount the warm-weather fragrances that I've worn the absolute most over the past 7 years that I've been in this hobby. I used parfumo.net as usual (not sponsored) to keep track of everything!

Sedley fetches me the most compliments. Never fails.
Greenly is feminine to me. Sedley is a masculine blue creamy woody Dry down beast.

Summer of Squid for me. Loved it last years love it more this year. Artistic but fully pleasant and wearable. I have a lot of bottles but Squid is special.

Just picked up Percival last month and its real nice
Love seeing YSL L'Homme on the list. Its just a classic and for me the fragrance that really got me into fragrances. The only fragrance ive ever owned and went through a whole two 3.4oz bottles! I have a 50ml bottle now that ive owned for well over 8 years that is still 98% full. Its amazing how when your collection grows some bottles just become statues.
Know what you mean! I still have half a bottle of the first released YSL L'Homme. I find myself rediscovering/revisiting "statues" that I had forgotten about! Great fragrance.

Just got my sample of gentle fluidity silver. It really is fantastic! As someone who loves gin I can say it does give a bit of a gin & tonic vibe in the opening, and in the best way. Love the juniper note. Then you get the classy musk and woods underneath. A new favorite.
Currently my most worn summer scents this year are Versace Man Eau Fraiche (my work scent) and Virgin Island Water. But I have decants of Roja Oceania and BDK Sel D’Argent that I’m saving for an upcoming vacation. 🤙

I think that's the thing about both channels and individuals/collectors maturing is that the simple stuff we start off on typically fades to the back slowly. I started tracking my wears right as we went into 2022, but had I tracked also in the back-end of '20 and the entire '21, the obvious PDM & Xerjoff product would dominate. Eventually as I specialized towards new releases and non-mainstream niche, the orders shifted, but in your context, the backlog is several years longer and the collection is about 8x bigger so running up the tally to catch an Aventus is basically not possible.
Looking at my most-worns, it's not as extreme, but my Gris Charnel Extrait got just under 40 wears last year (as a spring-fall aromatic) and catching up to that tally will be difficult for any release, esp. since I favor winter/heavy fragrances. My top Parfumo summer wears: Sedley 17x, Gris Charnel EDP 16x, Percival 10x, Bohemian Lime 9x, Aventus 9x, Torino21 7x, Apple Brandy on the Rocks 7x, God of Fire 7x, Erba Pura 7x (this one got decluttered few months ago).

Aventus is my most worn as well! People hate on it, it's expensive and there are clones and all of that but there is something about the scent and how it makes me feel when I wear it. Aventus is probably my most complemented fragrance as well!
I hate to say it but 2 clones have now outdone the original. They smell identical but stronger and they last 16 hours plus. First is CDNIM Limited Edition Parfum and second is Al Haramain L'Aventure Intense. They have completely solved the problems of their predecessors like the harsh opening and performance problems. Got both for my husband and he says they smell identical to Aventus back in 2010 when it dropped, not the weak Aventus we now have today. I really hate to give such praise to clone houses but it's true. I even prefer Armafs version of my favorite perfume Milliseme Imperial to the Creed which barely last an hour anymore.

Fire list!! Vetiver Geranium is my favorite Creed! Oligarch is my favorite fragrance from Roja… wish I would have pulled the trigger on a full bottle when I had the opportunity. Just can’t bring myself to spend $500 at the moment for isola blu . L’homme is the 1st fragrance I purchased myself with my own money! All time favorite fragrance

Totally agree. This guys voice is so smooth. I love Justin’s channel and as a fragrance snob really value his opinions. I don’t know if you ever tried Eau d’Hadrien by Goutal Paris. It’s a huge classic and my favourite scent when it comes to high heat. It’s bright, light, simple citrus but fully mastered.

I always enjoy your top 8/10/12 lists more than most other channels because I know there will always be an interesting tweak on things - and this was no different. Love the fact you tracked everything in Parfumo so you can actually confirm exactly what was most worn instead of just guessing. Never would have thought that Aventus would be #1 (I was expecting Sean John 3am)...
Now I just have to remember that Aventus is your most worn scent of all time for if that question ever comes up in another giveaway... 🧐👍🏻

I have the same M.I. bottle. It was one of the first fragrances I bought from Creed. I remember thinking, can a cologne smell this nice and different? It blew me away at that time and still is as unique as they come. It still reminds me of crisp new bills of cold hard cash. Not sure why LOL. Do you get that at all?
I am wondering if you do not whether my comment will illicit that for you now.

@@SketchyPadz I wasn't sure at first spray, but after wearing it a couple of times, I like it. It's quite fresh with some spiciness. It gives me the impression that a well-off individual would wear something like this. I save it for more special occasions because it's expensive haha. I layer it with Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne. I'm looking to try Greenley next!
@@puissancehonestly from PDM I loved Layton and Carlisle, and I liked all of their freshies. Percival>Sedley>Greenley for me. Percival is so uplifting and more versatile than the others. Sedley smells a little like sprite in the opening which was cool, I liked it a lot and I use my decant in the summer. Greenley’s green apple was interesting and pleasant, overall a great smell but not enough for a full bottle to me. I hope you enjoyed your Sedley bottle over the summer

Gentle Fluidity Silver is gorgeous, Sedley and Percival are really nice but yes pricey. YSL is ok, but too tame for my taste, so is Millisime Imperial. Illysium is lovely. The original Aventus was great.

I've recently learned that the top notes of older bottles of fragrances will evaporate overtime! You probably already knew this lol but just mentioning it, Probably why your Aventus isn't hitting like it use too!

Great Vid mate :D I too love Soo many of these.. I own, Sedley, Percival, Elysium, and Aventus.. I do want to pick up Milliseme as I tried and LOVED it!.. I haven't tried the MFK, YSL or vetiver and geranium yet, but I will.. Still my Sig scent, especially for summer is Jo Malone Grapefruit layered with their White Jazmine and Mint :D If you can try those sometime and give me your take.. I paid 139 bucks for 75ml of Sedley at discounter. Totally worth that price. My wife loved it instantly.
Sedley and Percival are probably the best of PDM. I think they are far better than their heavy scents like Layton, Pegasus, and Herod. Those fragrances are just sickeningly sweet to me.
@@winnienguyen4420 Layton is one of my favorites. I have Pegasus as well which I like but don't love. Not much of a fan of Herod, but I love Carlisle. Will get that one eventually.
@@jimlittle5769 I wanted to like Layton I really did, but the menthol like note it has was very off putting to me. I tried Layton exclusive too and actually kinda enjoyed that one but as a woman I can't pull it off.
@@winnienguyen4420 I don't get the menthol like note from Layton, but if you are smelling it, I can see that putting you off. Not sure any of those heavy cold weather fragrances would work well on a lady though, while Sedley and Percival can totally be pulled off by men or women.

Percival smells similar to Legend but it also has a similarity to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme too. It really is it's own fragrance.

you can't miss something if you never get away from it. Breaks are good.
I think a combination of Basso and Isola Blu will be very close to Oligarch EDP.

With that number 1 selection tho, I’ll be honest, those 4 oz bottles, or really any of the older Creed bottles, with the Firehose sprayers, disperse and immense amount of juice so it’s easy to dent a bottle lol

Milliseme Imperial was my favourite perfume since I was 15 in the year 2000. I noticed the fragrance got weaker after buying more recent bottles and was told to try Armaf Milestone which is a clone. Well i did and sure enough it smells and performs more like the old Creed MI bottles than the new ones do. As for Aventus CDNIM Limited Edition Parfum and Al Haramain L'Aventure Intense have cloned it perfectly and last 16 hours easily. Therefore I don't see a reason to purchase new bottles.

Almost had a stroke because of the overflowing basicness of this video.
But to be honest I don't perceive the PdMs - neither Percival nor Sedley - as genuinely fresh scents as I think all PdMs have these thick and sticky basenotes unlike MFK. The GF Silver on the other hand I do not find that interesting as many do but am in love with Amyris Homme. That one is more in the realm of the YSL L'homme you mentioned but has its own uniqueness imo.

Really? To me Sedley is a straight up aquatic. It has similarities to Creed Erolfa and Milliseme Imperial. Percival is more of a Blue shower gel type fragrance. It bears similarities to MB Legend and Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme.

Jc, help me out here. It seems you like oligarch EDP of the 3 which means isola blu isnt the same as that otherwise you would have said theyre tied. However, does that mean isola blu and oligarch parfum are on and the same? Thanks for answering
Oligarch Eau de Parfum is different, but Oligarch Parfum and Isola Blu are the exact same fragrance (confirmed multiple times by Roja Parfums themselves). 👍🏻
Yes, as Sir Sillage said, Isola Blu is virtually identical to Oligarch Parfum.

Greetings Justin. I have a question. Can I store my fragrances inside a storage in my room? I heard about avoiding temperature change but Everywhere else in my aptartment theres heat or enters sunlight. Is there an alternative for situations like this?
Hey there. The key things to look for in fragrance storage are:
-dark
-cool
-dry
If storage in your room will provide that, then you’re good.
@@stayfreshproductions my room is the coolest place in my apartment. My only concern is the temperature changing that occurs when I turn off the air conditioner. Perhaps keeping them inside their box and in a storage helps with the temperature issue.
@@sr.rodriguez4816 they can withstand a little bit of heat. So if it’s not always air conditioned, that’s ok. As long as it’s not always warm.

What I’d recommend is checking out Decant X. They are my go-to place to get samples of fragrances. I’d grab samples of 2-3 in this video that sound the most interesting to you, spray them on the back of your hand or your arm, and see how you like them on your skin. If you like them, give each of them a real wearing with a few sprays around the sides and back of your neck. From there, if you loved one of them and wanted to get a bottle, websites like Fragrancebuy.ca , Max Aroma, Fragrancenet, and Jomashop are great places to get authentic products at lower prices than directly from the brands or in stores.

I live in Martinique it’s hot all the time but I hate fresh fragrance. It’s not smooth too my nose. I find sweet and dark fragrance way better. Like Naxos, Noir de noir, Side effect, Oud bouquet. It’s smooth and interesting. My fav fresh parfum is Prada l’homme or Megamare.
You don't like Boadicea The Victorious Hanuman, Amouage Beach Hut Man or Xerjoff Nio?
I don’t have Hanuman, nor Nio. I have Beach Hut and I love it, but I haven’t had it for as long as the ones in this video.

I found Roja's Isola Blu to be a near duplicate of Terre d'Hermes Parfum. Hopefully I find more nuances as I continue to wear it, but I was caught of guard as I never assumed it had the TdH dna.

They are quite different to me. Isola Blu has a distinctive sweet fruitiness that TDH simply does not have. Makes it a more playful personality to my nose. But it’s ok if it’s not for you, just wear TDH

I don't know about "all time" because I wasn't tracking but these are my most worn fragrances for the last 3 months that I'm sure about:

Masque Milano- Mandala definitely should be on this list and it's signature scent worthy
Mandala is a beautiful scent…but it’s one of the last fragrances I would choose for the Summer
Oligarch is the expensive and snob Version of Terre de Hermes. I prefer TdH allday long, cheaper, better smelling and longer lasting.
