I smelled percival 2 weeks ago and I was instantly in love
i like percival but its a familiar scent thats been done by quite a few brands for less money so i cant convince myself to add it to my pdm collection
@@kinghenny312 yea i agree. i have a few feirce clones and its 90% similar. not worth the 150$ tag imo. smells great and luxurious tho. i have percival cuz i got a great deal on it, used and halfway. honestly if i could have one frag for life it would be that one and only then will i spend the money on it if i had no others. but i have like 40 bottles so i wont even buy it again, if that made sense haha

Excellent, timely list. I’m really picky about the frags I wear in the summer. I’m a big fan of Xerjoff’s 40 Knots, Nio and Torino 21. Also, Hacivat’s Nishane (big compliment getter on me). I have heard twice from Sebastian about Jaymes; your rec seals the deal for a sample. Thank you!

I'm with you, Acqua di Parma Essenza is fantastic. I have Hacivat and unfortunately I go nose blind to it after about 45 minutes, but that first hour is incredible. I just picked up Xerjoff Renaissance and look forward to wearing it as the weather warms, it too is amazing.
I'm wearing my nishane hacivat today... Nothing but a head Turner and compliment getter... Super fresh and clean fragrance
i just bought ADP Colonia Essenza from your reccomendation a few vids back. Having TF Neroli Portofino as well, i can say that the ingredients in Colonia Essenza smell way richer and natural especially the neroli note and that the ADP lasts 5-6 more hours than the Neroli Portofino. Overall great advice Omar, as always

I gotta say, I wasn't in love with 40 Knots in the beginning, but the more I smelled it the more I liked it. It's a really good one. My girlfriend eats me alive when I wear it. And I totally agree, two sprays is enough indeed. I got myself a bottle of Percival, because it's such an inoffensive, well-rounded scent. I really need that sometimes. You can grab it for any occasion as well. It's currently my most worn fragrance.
just started on my perfume collection journey and this video made me pull the trigger on Acqua di Parma’s Colonia Essenza. I can’t believe it’s so (relatively) cheap compared to the usual £200+ niche products. I’m so excited for it!

ormonde jayne's nawab of oudh intensivo is one of my fragrances for life, works perfectly for summer too

Well i blind bought Montabaco Intensivo some time ago as my go to office fragrance and it really hits the spot. My order came with a 10ml travel size of Ormonde Woman and i can definitely smell the quality of blends and ingredients in both. Both have this 'airness' which is hard to explain, but i think it's Ormonde Jayne signature.
I got a 100ML of 40 Knots because of your high praise. Its Top 5 in my collection. Signature for sure.
I bought a sample because I thought I would love it but to me it smells like spicy baby wipes
For me Hacivat is the king (or queen) of the summer. For summer nights I also love Tauer's Sundowner, gives a very special vibe, very unique scent

ADP Colonia Essenza is my recent buy and fav buy this last month. The quality you get is really high, and you can get it for as low as 60-70£.

I have burlington 1819 and Montebaco intensivo both amazing fragrances. I'm also planning to wear Amiri by arabian oud. I really love that scent.
Hacivat is my favorite creed style fragrance cuz it smells amazing and lasts forever. the cedrat intense would be 2nd place.
Cedrat is synthetic and headache inducing
I love that Ormonde Jayne - indeed a few of them I’d rate 10/10, including that one (Montabaco Intensivo). They have many, many I haven’t tried … but so far - at the danger of being overly basic, perhaps - Ormonde Man is my favorite.

Half a year ago, I hesitated a lot whether to buy Mancera Cedrat Boise Intense, and that very day you posted a video where you can buy that perfume at Notino at a good price, and I bought it, I love it. Yesterday I was very hesitant to buy Nishane Hacivat, today I smell the test paper again and I'm thinking if I should buy and you release this video. Guess what? I bought it.🍻

I really like L’immensite from LV for summer
I own and love Burlington1819 as it just screams sophistication with its grapefruit and cumin combo. Its a freshie that has relative performance which justifies the price tag when combined with that awesome masculine scent
You should also check out 2. nawab of oudh intensivo by Ormonde Jayne. Beautiful fresh, woody cent that almost reminds me of that Baby Powder DNA. Extremly unique and worth every single penny imo
So far I have only sampled hacivat and percival. I really like hacivat on my skin which is def FB worthy IMO. I think people should still sample before a full buy. Sad to say percival doesn't work on my skin. 5-6 hours of longevity. I kept checking it to see if did I get noseblind. Other say they had longer longevity. I had a 2019 batch. Any one else had similar experience?
If anyone else is wondering how it is possible that Xerjoff 40 knots is an aquatic fragrance but at the same time it’s similar to Ambre Nuit the answer is simple: it is NOT an aquatic / marine fragrance but for some reason some people say it is.

I recently tried cedre figalia by atelier Materi. What an incredible fresh/woody/fig scent. Totally worth full bottle in my opinion or at least check it out.
Thank you for mentioning nishane hacivat. Might be my 2nd favorite niche fragrance that i have in my collection. It last until the next day for me. Gotta scrub it off in the shower if i dont wanna smell like it no more
How do you prevent hacivat from being so overwhelmingly strong. I feel like even with one spray, it’s so strong and chokes people out

Are tygar and vibrato as sharp as turathi blue? (If you own/tried them). I have turathi and it’s the only fragrance I own that gives me headache due to his sharpness (heavy ambroxan/musc that irritates my nose-sinuses)
Creed - Millesime 1849 is good. It’s like Green Irish Tweed and Royal Oud had a baby in a field of Jasmine.

Somehow my nose doesn't distinguish any notes from Uden. I was hyped about it. Performs well but I just don't love it. Percival on top !

i never smell nishane hacivat, but i really love my afnan supremacy not only intense which is clone of that. really good blind buy, i love the smell of that smokiness with oakmoss also big compliment getter, one time im overspraying about 8 times it fills my entire friends car lmao, i guess 4 is enough xD

Hi guys. Im currently looking for my first signature scent, I am a student 18 years old and I had only a few fragrances yet(BLC, Eros ans Dylan Blue). Im currently thinking about getting club de nuit im edp or Sauvage. As most of the other students dont even wear cologne there should be an issue. The problem is I read most newer batches suck in performance. What would you guys recommend?

I personally like greenly it’s pretty underrated, I like it more than Percival but don’t blind buy it it’s definitely a unique scent

@SchoolofScent Why isn't Mancera's Kumkat Woods not featured much. Omar talked highly about that fragrance in his Mancera buying guide and I was considering getting it, but I don't see it being featured much in videos like this and makes me wonder how will it fit among these fragrances.

I just sampled it and I liked it but for the price it was too similar to Montblanc legend edp. It’s good if you get it on sale. Otherwise legend edp does the job.

PDM Perseus is a waste of money. It’s smells good (it’s a dank citrus), but it doesn’t last. I blind bought the small bottle. I won’t buy it again.

Beware of new batch Nishane Hacivat
One month ago I was at Havalimani Istanbul Airport waiting for my flight and I came acros Nishane duty free store and bought 100 ml Hacivat from them.
It comes with new packaging and new type batch number . It contains only 6 digits number now and it came with beige colour sleve instead black and white striped.
I use to have Hacivat and still have a decant from a year and half ago and the new bottle is not at all the same regarding the performance. It is not oily like it use to be and it is vanished within one hour mark, not a single whaft of skin scent at all. I tried another time after smelling a fresh coffee bean and it is just gone after one hour.
I put a spray on my left wrist from a decant that I have years ago and on my right wrist the new Hacivat. On the left stil projecting strong with a thick oily marks on it and on my right wrist is gone nowhere to smell, nothing. I did this on one hour mark, 2 hour mark and 3 hour mark to show you that I dont go nose blind . My decant smell and project like a beast still
As for now I would just let this parfume mature and see what happen next few month but I have a low expectection on this as another buyer from another forum did this too and having the same performance problem and nothing change after let it sit after few months.
If you like to buy this , buy the older batch not from the new one or you just throwing your hard earned money on the drain.
Nishane , shame on you.. you charge premium money and yet you give us a garbage quality
Hacivat is reformulated. I can confirm it after tested 2 batch 22235 and 23265. They project near skin and longevity 2-3hrs max. 😢
