As a lifelong Washington fan, Snyder selling the team is literally a dream come true
As a fellow lifelong fan,I have been praying to baby jesus for this to happen for more years than I can remember.
As a bears fan I’m wishing for this day to come soon too lol
As a Texans fan I’ve been wishing for this to happen

How was Jon Gruden the only one to get canceled out of all this?

Gruden was a jerk, but he was singled out.
Snyder has to have some sort of tie or leverage that prevents him from being held accountable. There's just no way anyone can get through this without corruption.

my guess is that it's not Snyder specifically, that the more that they start digging in on owners and pushing them out it creates precedent and none of the owners want that.

I’m 53 and since I was 5 years old Washington has been my team. The team was dominant and respected especially the Gibbs era that saw 4 Super Bowl appearances with 3 Championships. The last 30 years has been a mountain of BS. Embarrassing culture and for years I didn’t point finger at Snyder. Well after 30 years I’m pointing a finger at Snyder🖕
I've been a fan since I was born. 30 yrs later and they still suck. I'm done with the team.

I wonder if Snyder has something on Goodell, that he keeps getting all these problems and accusations swept under the rug. That’s the only way I can see him not suffering any recourse from all these accusations and incidents.
Goodell works for Snyder and the rest of the owners. Owners reluctant to punish one of their own. Snyder probably has stuff on other owners on the old boys network.

Dan doesn't have anything on Goodell specifically. All the owners are probably corrupt and at the end of the day, they pay Rogers salary. He has no power.
It’s not goodell it’s the network of owners in the nfl. Goodell is the fall guy the face to take it so the people behind him don’t have to deal with too much of it
The NFL needs to do a thorough investigation and blame Jon Gruden.
The finances of NFL teams should be very close, within 10 or 20% plus easy stuff like ticket price difference. Other things like merchandise differences are probably proportional to ticket money difference. If a team is reporting after adjustments 20-30% less revenue than anyone or the league average that would be worth looking into.
A 10-20% variance is massive. Anymore than a couple percentage points and someone is getting fired
@@HH-le1vi some teams have millions more fans , do you expect the jaguars to be within a couple percent points of the cowboys? It wouldn't even make sense on paper.
@@SS-L.O.T.O. I'm talking about the actual books that every team and company keeps. If there's anymore than a 1 or 2% variance someone is getting fired. Also a teams value fluctuates constantly so you can't use that for anything except investing and that's a totally different situation.

Two sets of books can simply mean one for financial statement purposes and one for tax purposes, nothing illegal as US GAAP reporting and tax reporting does vary. HOWEVER, let’s see what comes out of this before jumping to conclusions.
Agree, two books can mean a lot of things, I mean the packers have 2 books for exactly the reasons you said. Washington isn’t public like Green Bay though so they don’t need to keep GAAP.
