Everything is alleged or an accusation. Until there is definitive proof, nothing can get him moved. People still don't understand that facts are all that can touch him right now, nothing else.

If the NFL owners vote and let him stay, I am guessing its because Snyder isn't the ONLY one cooking the books.

We know that Haslam was a crook, with Pilot Flying J, so he is likely cooking the books as well.
They could also do it to keep the spotlight in Snyder. All rich dudes they all doing something slimey
I agree, if he doesn't lose his franchise because of this it's because the entire league knows they can't pass an audit either.
But IF that happens, the NFLPA is going to see that they're getting fucked over too, because every owner underreporting revenue would mean the salary cap has been artificially lowered, taking money out of players' pockets.
So I think the league will probably sacrifice snyder to prevent that from happening.

Wouldn't be surprised if other teams do this but just haven't gotten caught. These owners will do everything they can not to lose money.

I once met a guy who worked for Dan Snyder in the mid 90's. He said he got fired and when he went to Dan's office to complain Dan Snyder wrote him a $10k check and said go away and never bother me again.

I could see it maybe just staying a civil case. The other owners / the NFL could sue him for losses and violation of contract.

A once very proud and respected franchise is now the laughing stock of all pro sports. So embarrassing. Hopefully, this is what is finally going to end his reign.

The person who bid against Snyder when he bought the team was Joe Gibbs (former head coach of all 3 Super Bowls). Joe Gibbs owns Joe Gibbs Racing and could potentially try again with more capital than he had in the 90s

I was one of those who never received my security deposit. 3,000 dollars back in 2006-2007. I paid my deposit however I was in the military, so I never was able to attend a game. I am now discharged from the military and disabled.I Live in upstate NY. I was never able to attend a game and have never received my deposit back.

I'm guessing it's because the rights to the team are officially in DC proper, so a state AG or whoever can't take it up as would probably happen with any other team. I don't know why it's Congress though and not the DOJ or something instead...

I'm wondering if these are going to just end up in civil lawsuits, or is there criminality here? Yikes! I once did a revenue share deal with a hotel on a New Year's Eve party and not only got screwed, the hotel General Manager made it so obvious he wasn't even worried or embarrassed about it. It was a lot of money but not enough to hire accountants and lawyers and he knew it.
