He's so insightful on team management. That's probably my biggest surprise in these interviews. He's been so open. Bill has been my team's coach since I started watching football in 01, so it's cool to see him like this.
I was thinking about this too. But they tried to get him more weapons than we realized. A good number of them didn't really pan out or were underwhelming. Sanu, AB, Ochocinco, Brandon Lloyd, Cooks, Scott Chandler, Tim Wright, Dwayne Allen, the list goes on. They never really got into too much of a cap bind by overpaying and stayed competitive, for which he deserves some credit.
@@SupremeGonJesus Christ. Winning 6 championships in any sport is almost impossible. What did Phil Jackson win without Kobe and Michael? There’s always an asterisk with every coach, every sport. But your feeble mind wouldn’t get that because you can’t think critically.

that would be cool, the leg power would now get factored in. would love to see things depending on the leg strength of the kicker. maybe: move the ball way back a reward the kicker for actually getting a touchback - rather than have every kicker clear the back of the end zone.
I think Bill Belichick looks happier and healthier now that he’s stepped away from coaching. He seems like a really good dude. When he coached he was a sour interview!
Glad Bill is getting love as he makes appearances on these shows. He's a good dude with an insane passion for Football, the best memory in the profession, and his knowledge and experience is deep. I hope he's able to coach again and break the wins record, if that's what he wants.

Long time Patriots fan and love Bill, but who'd of thought I would enjoy listening to him speak like this. Better than mumbling and we're on to Cincinnati lol
Bill makes a great point. If you're the NFL and you REALLY want to incentivize kickoff returns with this rule, move the ball back to the 20 or 25. A touchback that goes into the endzone in the air comes out to the 30, but if it hits inside the 20 and then goes into the endzone, a touchback only brings it out to the 20. So move the ball back so that kickers can boom the kicks but have a hard time getting it straight into the endzone. It works even better to move the ball with this rule because the kicker is the only player who lines up back there.
At 14:00, I know they always claimed they changed the rules for player safety, but, it was passed by 2/3 of the owners in a time in which only a few teams had a Devin Hester or a Joshua Cribbs... so it was an easy vote for all the owners that didn't have money tied up in a return-specialist.
I love how Bill covers every angle. If he knows a new coach will most likely not do well, he doesn't bank on it, but rather says "it can create some incredible challenges", but also having a plan in case they overcome them
He’s the ultimate example of perfection and success ,Brady was great but don’t get it twisted that team was well coached and the defense was always good
