That's what irks me the most, that people actually think it's okay to PHYSICALLY assault someone because their wife was offended by WORDS
I feel that those that did didn’t fully comprehend the totality and absolute implications of it all as the whole cabin pressure of that room was wildly shifted. so here is will smith. sitting with 100s of persons of hollywood. the (vast) majority he knows and is comfortable with (including chris r). a experienced/trained actor for years and decades. they hear "crap" all the time from producers, comedians etc. but he had a claimed: sudden "emotional" meltdown
of course trained actors in "film" never pretend their mad, upset and "yell" profanities.
one of the worst aspects: if ukraine was not such a serious topic taking up the (majority) of news: oscars/hollywood would not of pull a scam and "con" like this. but they did.
do lets see: if this stunt did not occur: ten (10) minutes after the oscars were over: people would of said:
who won "what". and no this is not "racism": smith won an award for best actor for a movie of the williams sisters.
not a giveaway: only one (1) camera angle from behind smith/rock. of course there were no "other" cameras anywhere at the oscars when the "stunt" went down. not even one (1) other? not one mobile "phone" alternate camera "nothing": called: controlled set, folks.
chris r. stands there as a man twice his size that his just (claimed) insulted is bearing down on him. rock locks his arms behind his back and leans his tors/face slightly forward. he looked like he was hoping the "stunt" would go as "planned".
yes: that is what a person does when someone is aggressively approaching them. even smith was "smirking" as he walked away.

If you have been hit in the face unexpectedly and felt the rush that kicks in, then you know just how crazy it is that Chris Rock stayed as calm as he did. A less put together person would have lost it with that feeling, your body's natural reaction to an attack is to attack back or escape. And he delivered his lines and carried on, his composure was really impressive. Even trained fighters would not be able to take something like that calmly

Well to be honest Chris isn't a trained fighter so there wasnt much he could do had he wanted too. Chris is a fraction of Will's size and that slap lifted him off his feet, he knew there wasn't gonna be a fight
That' true because I got punched in the face by a patient, I backed off just in time ,so I didn't get the full brunt of it, but had contact. It is hard to not hit back , because your adrenaline hits the roof.

Comedians write their own stuff. Actors just read out loud what others write for them. The standing ovation demonstrated that actors can't think or react without a script.
I love sitting in the front row at Comedy shows. I had a comedian pick on me all night. He was spot on. I was on a blind date, I had gotten a really bad perm that day and was wearing a yellow dress. I was called Big Bird…many jokes about my date being blind. It was freaking hilarious. If you can’t take a joke stay away from comedians and do not sit in the front row. After the show he invited us back to his suite to party and thanked me for being a good sport. I will only say the comedian’s name was Tom and it was in the 90’s.
