For sure, man. God does indeed so love the world…. His love doesn’t have any conditions to be sure and we should be showing that without reservation to all. But make no mistake…. faith in a mystical, ambivalent higher power isn’t gonna cut it. “Sorry, sugar, but that won’t do,” my grandmother used to say. Because the rest of that verse is, “…that He gave His only son.” And that son claimed to be “THE way, THE truth, and THE life,” and I for one believe Him. I think you do too from so many of the beautiful lyrics you’ve written in some of your later albums. Jesus truly is the only name by which we are saved. Don’t be afraid to stand in the truth of His precious sacrifice and love for us! Praying for you as you do 🙏🏻😊

I do believe we have the power of free will because God and Christ gives that to us, of which we can create a better or (God forbid) worser world. But I do believe Heaven and Hell are separate from here. I'm a Christian believer, heavily, so by Revelations there is another Heaven and after the rapture a new one and a new earth. Anyway, it's good to see regular mainstream artists include religion in their catalogue. I dont think this is done enough. People are so scared of offending...I started to say their fans but it's their wallets lol! Thanks for posting!

We will be judged for every secret thing we do (and think), good and evil. Basically, GOD knows all of our deeds in this life, almost like a test to move to the next plane of existence. Many don't move forward, and may end up in a different domain in which they anticipated.
Michael- just watched John Ford Coley perform "Love is the Answer" obviously solo w/o Dan Seals. Kind of curious what result might be if you and Mr Coley recorded a new version? There's something complex and relevent about that tune- be neat to see you give that tune a second life. There was excellence everywhere on the airwaves back then.
We sin because we are sinners by nature. You and I sin for many reasons - pleasure, convenience, selfishness, pride, etc. We know when it's wrong, but we still do it. Yet, we all want justice when someone else sins. Make no mistake - all sin is primarily against God; a perfectly holy & righteous judge. Sin must be justly punished or God would not be holy nor just. But God loves us and made a way for us to be reconciled to Him by sending his eternal son Jesus to live a sinless life, yet die for our sins - suffering the wrath of God in our place to save us from eternal Hell. We broke God's laws, but Jesus paid our penalty; His righteousness before God imputed to us. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, fulfilling the scriptures, proving He is the son of God & offers the gift of eternal life to whosoever repents & believes. ⠀ God is quick to forgive & rich in mercy! Call on Him because He loves you! ⠀ Salvation cannot be earned Jesus is the only way to Heaven You must be born-again
