Harper did *not* think this one through very well: no way would removing a wire from a *bomb* make it *more* prone to detonating: it'll do things that're more likely to *disable* the explosive- and the reason is that they're exercises in evil simplicity: you remove from them everything they can possibly afford to have removed from them and still work.
Are these two gals friends by that time in the show? I'd say yes, but not lovers by a long-shot; partly because of too much danger going on for them to "play house"; at *most* prone to accepting Harper's goals, she's not going to act on it with the "Court of Owls" breathing down the backs of their necks: too much to do to bother with "love affairs"... and let us not forget that she does *NOT* choose her romance candidates well: she dated a mobster; NOT good choice in who to build a romantic relationship with, Miss Row, not by a long-shot... though Stephanie's remark about "good Irish catholic mobsters" is an oxymoron: as no way is a mobster a "good" member of any particular religion at all, least likely for him to walk both sides of that barrier is as a "Catholic Mobster"; as that's an oxymoronic statement if there ever was one.
One *major* reason why that is is that basically the Devil would be classified as a "mobster"; so those who follow that way of life: extortion, blackmail, racketeering, theft, prostitution, murder-for-hire, and all that really are following the way of life of the devil itself- and that thing's far from a "good" being in any creed at all come to think of it; save one or two: one: the occult, two: *Marxism*, and both are to be avoided bar no exception- as Marxism really is by far the worst of the two at that!

Sharper lives on. In my fanfic novel, still being written. More focused on Duela, but she's gotten closer to both of them. And to Turner. Yeah. He's back. Google "Not Offended, Duela". I recently had all four girls go dress shopping. For Duela's wedding. She insisted they all pick out their own dresses, on her tab. She's paying with stolen cash, naturally. Yeah, shippy as hell. If you don't like the 'ship, stay away. But I try to keep it in character. :)
