    I've tried various systems and the one that's impressed me the most has been subarus , so far.
    I've not tried the mb one though. That's a beautiful eclass

    I'm thinking about what car is good for a general luxury car but can handle snowy conditions easily. If there is a good car for less than 50k I would look at that also.

    I have a 2004 E320 with the 4matic drive system. I recently installed a full set of General Tire Altimax Arctic 12 snow tires. I drive it in and around Flagstaff Arizona. During the past 3 weeks the area has been hit with several snow storms. I’ve driven about a 1000 miles on these new tires. I’ve had absolutely no difficultly traveling on the roads during the snow storms or afterward. The 4matic drive system is very impressive and capable when combined with the proper tires for the current road conditions. There is very little slippage. I can confidently and safely navigate through traffic. I have not had any difficultly moving forward from a full stop. Even on a snow covered incline. But I’m most impressed with the straight line braking. The vehicle is very stable and sure footed. Using a good set of snow tires during winter driving conditions, is the only way to achieve the maximum effectiveness of the technology benefits associated with ABS, ESP and 4MATIC in winter operating conditions. I highly recommend these tires. They are a great value for the money.

    • @techcreative6750
      @techcreative6750 3 года назад +5

      But why? If you live in snowy conditions/expect to drive through snow and ice you should, no, MUST have proper winter tyres. They're the first line of defense against slipping on snow and ice. A RWD/FWD car with winter tyres will do much better on snow and ice than an AWD with all-season.

    Thanks for the video, im considering an E-class Allterrain wagon and for long road trips to Scandinavian countries. I dont like SUVs and hope the All terrain has enough ground clearance for Scandinavian winters. The All-wheel drive system seems to be up there.

      It stops perfectly fine, due to the fact of course it's on winter tires with has it's grip. if it was all season tires little bit longer distance but works great. Summer tires i'd expect much longer stopping distance
