East Midlands Steam & Country show 2024

My son Edward , Myself and Ryan attended The East Midlands Steam and Country show at Chelveston, Northamptonshire. Cars, motorcycles, 4x4s, Classic minis, Steam traction engines of all sizes, Stationary Engines and mechanical musical instruments on show for all to aww in wonder. The 'There and Back again" Light railway was giving families train rides throughout the bank holiday weekend and I thank the gentleman for making my son's experience one to remember. The 'Wall of Death" (One of two in the country) was also there and I managed to find a Wellingborough diamond that I've been searching high and low for a very long time and then the skies were shattered with the sound of a beautiful spitfire fly-over.
Great to see so many wonderful local legends and I thank the event holders, volunteers and exhibitors at this awesome annual event. Special thanks to The Worboys family.

When i worked at Callis farm in mears ashby i started on a petrol pvo grey fergi and we also had a super dexta and super major which was replaced with a ford 4000. caroline

Enjoyed this, very eccentric stuff here and very British. Nice to see the Union Jack and St George's flags flying. Lived in Rushden till age 44 then moved to southern Ireland, where unfortunately this sort of entertainment doesn't happen. ❤😅

Purple, in July there’s the Rempstone Steam and Country Show in Wymeswold Leicestershire Sat 13th to 14th, not as epic as The Great Dorset Steam Fair( which unfortunately won’t be going ahead this year).
