My rear tire is leaking around the bead! I wanted to take the wheel off, and take it to the workbench. This instructional does not show how I can do this.
How to remove the wire
Thanks for showing me how to loosen a nut. I was hoping the video show how to remove it completely- including the wires.
To remove the wheel from the scooter, you'll need to remove the 2 screws anchoring the brake caliper to the wheel (set aside), loosen the bolts on either side of the wheel, and then disconnect the motor cable at the plug-and-play juncture. Does that help?
Hey mate how do I disconnect the wire from the wheel?
The rear wheel/tire on our scooter was leaking air, so we purchased a new tire from VORO. We had a bike shop swap the tire and the new tire won't seal (what a pain!). I'd like to send the wheel/tire in for evaluation/repair - how do we unplug the wire lead? It seems to be in the side chamber, which is partially accessible by removing the rear and front light assemblies but that's as far as I've gotten.
Is there ANY way we (me and other people mentioning this below) are able to disconnect the power lead to the motor?
Thank you
Hey Troy,
We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. While bike shops can be good in some circumstances, we have unfortunately found they often do not fully grasp the nuances of a scooter compared to a bicycle.
It sounds to me like the tire might be out of round, off the bead, or (hopefully not!) the rim could be bent or warped in some way.
We'd be happy to help you out both in inspecting your wheel and potentially providing repairs, if you could just reach out to our team at support@voromotors.com!
This video isn't detailed enough. Do I remove the disc break first? What else is removed BEFORE the wheel? Also how do I remove the wheel so I can replace the tyre? The wheel is still attached via power cable at the end of the video. How do I remove the cable?
Hey Jeremy,
Here are the steps:
1. Remove disc brake first
2. Remove the rear fender
3. Replace tire
Feel free to give us a call or email us, will be glad to assist
@@VoroMotors Can you please post a full video showing how to replace the rear tire from start to finish. I watched this video and the tire replacement video however he tires shown in that video are different to the ones you sent me.
@@JeremyCorkin Hey Jeremy, I will be sending you an email detailing which video comes first, in a step by step basis
@@VoroMotors Hi, can you please post a detailed video on how to replace the rear tire.
@@JeremyCorkin Hi Jeremy, here is the link on how to replace the tire: ruclips.net/video/Rnfv3jb-UWs/видео.html
Thanks for the video. In the future, please STOP SHAKING the camera. Hold camera STILL while making video.
Sorry John. We rushed this for you to view :(
Doesn't help, remove what with scissors? Put the scissors where? Push on what?
Hi there, the point of the scissors in the video is to give some leverage to move the lock pin, or lock washer away from the wheel axle and loosen it to the point of being able to detach the wheel on either side from the rear forks that hold the wheel axle in place, after having already removed the outer motor nut, as shown in the video.
If you are having trouble with this, and need further assistance, we would ask that you reach out to our team at support@voromotors.com where we would be happy to help further!
@@VoroMotors Oh ok thanks, that helps a lot.
I have another problem with my yume m10. It seems to get "stuck" at 10mph which is exactly the top speed of the first gear. If I sort of keep squeezing (pumping it) the throttle while it's at 10 mph itll then function normally, as long as I keep it above 10 there is no issue. The issue is going from 1-10+. Any idea what that could be?
When it's not going above ten, turning on dual or turbo mode makes no difference, stays at exactly 10. Once above ten, it goes to top speed and has no problem maintaining it.
Hi again, we're so glad to hear our previous explanation helped!
Unfortunately, we do not sell or operate the Yume M10, so we would not be able to advise you with confidence on its function or behavior. We would highly recommend reaching out to the seller or manufacturer for further assistance.
