Snapped Shifter Cables

One day I went for a ride and suddenly could not shift from third. The gearbox was stuck in the third. New shifter cables needed!

Which replacement cables did you use? Porsche is supposed to have issued upgraded shifter cables to replace the brittle originals. But apparently some Porsche owners have gone for beefier cables from Numeric Racing.

I chose to go for the OE cables. I heard the Numerics can be a little too harsh
