  • This is the fastest power wheels car at 24v running 30km/h
    I bought 4 6S lipo batteries each has 14000mah
    After this video i am starting to replace the batteries to a 48v 28Ah setup and i am also changing the belt drive system to spur gears
    The current setup is
    24v 2x 12v 22Ah batteries
    Flipsky dual 6.6 plus Vesc ECS
    2x 6374 Flipsky motors 3250w each
    full front independent suspension with disc brakes
    rear Semi-independent suspension
    I have attached a servo motor to control the throttle and the brake. That is how i control the car because it is to small for me to access the pedals
    I am sorry for the poor sound. I am still learning how to edit videos

      @@ExtremePowerWheels how did you make this? Is it still an electric motor? I got one I am wanting to upgrade and I want it to go fast like this. Any help is appreciated!

    Nice! I'm using a VESC with the stock brushed motors and variable throttle. Why are you ditching the belt drive?

    • @ExtremePowerWheels
      @ExtremePowerWheels  4 года назад

      Thank you. I want to change the belt drive because i have to change belts very often. The belts wear very fast because it a compact system and the gear ratio is very big. Also the VESC works only with brushless motors

      @@ExtremePowerWheels Thanks for the tip. Also, I am using VESC with stock brushed motors, you just dont use that middle sensor cable.

      @@mckirkus if 3 wires go to the motor it is still brushles but not sensored
      Are you sure it is VESC? Or judt a brushed ESC?

      @@ExtremePowerWheels Yep it's a 4.2 VESC board from Flipsky. You only use the two outer wires and configure VESC in DC mode. Using a cheap hall sensor pedal from Amazon.

    Cool build but how is this the fastest powerwheels? Got a guy here in the US has one that does almost 60 kph with plastic wheels and tires and the good ole plastic gearboxes with brushed motors

    • @ExtremePowerWheels
      @ExtremePowerWheels  3 года назад +1

      Thank you. I would like to see 60km/h with plastic gearboxes and wheels. I had that setup and i had 50k rpm motors and the top speed was 20km/h and the gearboxes burned in an hour. The car in this video is only at 24v. It runs up to 60V. It goes over 60km/h but is freaking scary to drive even with full suspension and rubber tires. I will post more videos when i find a place to run it at top speed

    • @ExtremePowerWheels
      @ExtremePowerWheels  3 года назад

      I jut done a bit of math. You woud need brushed motors that spin up to 120.000 rpm to reach 60km/h witch do not exist. Iven if they do, the plastic gears inside will melt in seconds.
      You coud not reach 60km/h with plastic wheels. You will spin out fo controll long before you rrach that speed.

      @@ExtremePowerWheels correction. 51.4 km/ph. 32 mph my kph to mph math is a little off. Joneric Cartwright on the Facebook modified powerwheels group. Still calling into question fastest powerwheels tag on the video. Lol my sons hits 50 mph and we don’t even claim to be the fastest.

      @@dougking8424 I had a chat with your friend. And you are right. But his car is designed only for drag racing and he is changing a lot of gearboxes. My car is belt drive and has 6500w and it is a different type of power wheels and i think also smaller size. in this video i only run at 24v. i already upgraded the batteries to 48v and my car runs over 60km/h. Again i am sure there are other very fast power wheels. I am not competing with anybody. I just build very fast power wheels for fun. If you come to UK and want to race your car with mine i will be happy to do so and i am sure we will have some fun. That is all about. Thank you

      @@ExtremePowerWheels you do know that even with dual 3250 watt motors you’re still at only 3250 watts.
