Yesterday i took apart my xbox to clean it. I cleaned put it back together and now it wont find any wifi conections. What should i do ?
Same issue for me I did Change hard disk because it’s was out of order and now 6 month after I did 4 restaure and now this shit come across me . Yesterday it was fixed alone . And today it come backs when I did unplugged my Xbox

Me too, couldn't save 360 games locally, cloud only, tried to connect to my mobile hotspot (as I'm away from home) to play a 360 game and will not connect even with correct password, got angry, punched Xbox, Xbox now dead! Fed up with all this Microsoft bullshit, never had any problems with PS4.

So my Xbox randomly kicked me off my internet while I was playing with my friends & it would not let me connect to any internet & my internet is not the issue. It told me to make my ip manual but my friend I live with said u didn’t want to do that with the WiFi & idk what to do :/ my Xbox one s did the same thing legit a few months back and I’ve been using his Xbox and now the SAME EXACT ISSUE. Truly upset rn but ima try that second option u said.

I had to clear Alternate Wireless MAC Address and restart the console then clear IP address and then setup wireless network. It finally worked. I was on the phone with cox and Xbox and no one helped. Hope this helps if what was in the video did not. Took 2 hours and I finally got it to work.

Clearing the Alternate MAC address is pretty clear but what do you mean by clearing the IP address? On the console or through a modem/router?
When I click the restart button when I click clear Alternate MAC Address it doesnt restart

I've been trying all morning to get my xbox one to connect to my wifi. My phone, my computer, and even my TV were all connected to my wifi but the xbox kept saying no connection. The first step in the video fixed it. Thank you for the help!

Well mine won't connect there are 3 other xbox ones in this house they all connect perfectly mine just won't so its not the internet if the others connect so what is it also after fiddling with it for a hour it will connect but when I turn it off and get back on agean it is disconnected from the network agean and back to not wanting to connect
OK this could be due to multiple different things, it could be a performance issue with you modem or router. With so many devices connected to the wifi it could be bogging things down. Also, If you have any metal objects around the console or anything in the usb ports like a wireless headset or external hard drive this could be causing an interference issue with the wifi. There are a ton of things that could be causing this issue. What I would suggest is either go to support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/networking/network-connection-error-solution and click on the error message it is giving you to find some more trouble shooting steps or call Xbox customer support so they can investigate and figure out what is specifically going on.

Wow this totally fixed my problem. I was smack in the middle of watching an anime on crunchyroll and my internet just disconnects... I was worried my wireless adapter in the Xbox had fried.

(2nd option) IF YOUR ADVANCE SETTINGS IS NOT AVAILABLE due to your system NOT recognizing your WIFI.
1. Go to your settings, select SYSTEM, select RESET CONSOLE, select RESET and KEEP my GAMES & APPS. Hope this helps.

I need help. Every time I restart the console and I turn it back on I get a black screen. But if I hold the Xbox button on my controller the options like restart console, turn off console, and turn off controller come up. I have a 2 terabyte storage thing for my Xbox and usually unplugging that and turning on the console works. I’m afraid to restart my Xbox like that because it usually takes a hour for it to go back to normal. I have tried the clear thing for advanced settings and had trouble with the black screen. But once I fixed that I still couldn’t get it to connect

This sounds like your modem or router settings might be blocking you. I would call up your internet provider and have them go over your settings for your modem to make sure nothing is acting up. If they are unable to find anything I would then suggest calling xbox customer support and speaking with someone in the networking department.

Hi, my xbox one doesn't show my home wifi, however see and connect to other wifi lines, hotspots etc. Moreover, the whole devices in home see and connect my home wifi line. I restart router, console, reset both, but no fix yet. Could you help me please?
