Bowser is a fantastic character because even though he’s the villain and he’s done a LOT of messed up stuff, the guy’s just so likable and fun to watch that some messed up part of you is genuinely rooting for him to win the day. That on top of his genuine redeeming qualities like being a good dad and king, working with Mario in the face of bigger and scarier villains like Count Bleck and Smithy, I kind of see why Bowser always gets invited to Kart races. Heck, even the movie version of Bowser where he’s much less sympathetic a character I still thought was really great, and I hope we get a sequel just so we get more of him.

Idk why but 6 yo me was fascinated by him and I mained him in like every Mario multiple game and played tf out of bowsers inside story. They did him such justice in the new Mario movie and he still holds a special place in my heart to this day 💚
