I couldn't resist and got the Deep Purple boxset, it's beautiful.
The new DP rocks!!! Shorter tracks, but so cool riffs and solos on this album.

Been listening to the new Deep Purple non stop. Love it! This sounds like 1970 Deep Purple to me. Love the new guitar work and Ian Gillan sounds re-energized to me. As far as jewel case compared to DigiPak, I always prefer the DigiPak versions. There are always better photos or art work and you can always manage to get a nice thick booklet about the band or the album. Jewel case CD's are limited as far as cool stuff. But I will admit, Jewel cases protect the CD much better.

Metallic Blue Records also has two 415 (Eric Martin Band’s original band name) CDs that I preordered last week and received in the mail already.
Jason McMaster is awesome in his other band, broken teeth!! Kind of ac/dc style hard rock
Dan Lorenzo should make us old school Hades fans a treat and get the band back together and record a new Hades album.
I purchased the Orange Goblin and Flat Black albums. Both sound great.

Darkness "The Gasoline Solution" album is AMAZING thrash metal, for those into the genre. This is the true DARKNESS band (German but english speaking).
Got the deep purple deluxe, twisters deluxe, Al Di Meola and Glass Animals.
I also got the five Duran Duran issues as I only have the 2003 remasters. The only complaint I have is Duran Duran self titled album is the UK version without is there something I should know?I I have a copy of the US version but it's the original from the 1980s. Every version that's been reissued seems to be the UK version without Is There something I should know?
