I literally am so confused when dealing with this mod but now this guy showed me how to use it and im finally seeing how amazing this is, the farms... THE FARMS!
i really like how modular and creative the mod can be. but biggest (and personally only) con of it is that there is no sort of ingame manual to explain how items work. the given descriptions are really vague and makes making stuff really annoying.
Just letting you know, this mod. Its beautifully coded to be fast. I play on an 8yo laptop with 4 1.8 ghz cores. Its crap with other mods but with this and optifine it runs at around 120 fps on 10 render distance even while the machines run
It's great as well because most mechanical mods have some scifi included or industrial tech But this is vanilla minecraft themed, i downloaded it and my friends asked me "when was this added"

TY for sheep farm design, I'm currently doing a build mixed with botania and create and wanted to generate mana using wool... Just designing a farm for this has been mentally draining. So will definitely try to use your sheep farm.

Is there a way to build a mining system that extends itself, such as using a deployer to place tracks? All the designs I have seen need to be manually extended.
I'm just getting into the Create Mod, but seeing these farms I can already think of so many improvements, by using vanilla features along side the Create aspects! I know your farms here are using mostly Create objects, but a few vanilla bits could actually help out!

@@lucere6102 ditto here, the it's not extracting items using the portable storage interface 2m later EDIT: you need to have 1-block space between either of the PSIs, you can see that in the video where they extend their thingy to extract items!

on the cow farm you could literally make the smoking fan kill the adult cows while cooking automatically their meat. just place the fan at the level of the saw and boom, more compact cow farm with less item loss.
The baby cows need to fall through that space. Can they survive? I haven't tried and am struggling with the saw arm deleting and moving blocks in the build.
Have gotten into this mod in a valhesia 3 mod server. Been amazing. While not as fast as some other mods its way more versatile and looks amazing with items zooming around belts and chutes. Make a cobble to gold nugget farm and cobble to iron nugget farm, slow efficiency but was super fun to make and looks amazing.
I've been trying to figure out how to make my farm work for like a week and half but its SO HARD to info on the new update. Thank you G. You're my guide now
basically the sheep farm is made more flashy, as in 1.16 you can create an automatic wool farm where all you have to do is supply it with shears for when they break, using observers and dispensers, this one is just visually pleasing. Which I prefer more
For anyone new, you can no longer get power from an Encased Fan. However, you can use a windmill bearing & some Sails or Wool to have a completely self-powered farm that uses ZERO stress units - actually generating some
You have a good way to teach how to use the mod. I hope u will do some other mods in the future! I started with modded MC and taking a look into different mods :D
For the sheep farm: chutes can take from belts above, you can just put a shear on a belt merry-go-round and replenish that. If chutes don't have a sizeable inventory, that is.
It's far easier to make a standard 1 block cow farm where it kills an adult cow if too many cows exist in the same block so all you have to do is have them be auto fed and then a chute under them to collect the leather and meat.
Coco bean(and other farms this style) Farm improvement: Place a comparator (facing in an linker) like the andesite funnel next to the chest and connect the linker to the gearshift. Now if there are items in the chest the chest will stop there until the chest is empty.
What I found with the sequenced gearshaft is that it tranlsates "Piston" movement to time and when your contraption pauses to saw a tree etc it doesn't account for that. So there's always a possibility it won't fully retract the piston before stopping. seeing the video I'll actually switch my sequenzed gearshaft to this method :)
There's one thing I'm missing from this, specifically from the tree farms: does Create have a tidy way to gather leaves? Since Builder's Tea is a thing in Create, I'd hope it has a way to automate leaves, hopefully a less cumbersome way than a deployer with leaves - but I guess if that's what is necessary, it is still an option.
When you use a mechanical saw to chop down a tree it will pick every single thing that the tree would drop like Saplings, Sticks, Apples, Logs and Leaves.
@@vedhyyagovindsamant4469 Except that trees don't normally drop leaves when chopped down. I've not been getting a single leaf block out of my Create tree farm.

On the cow farm, how do you keep the saw blade from breaking the walls? Or keep the linear chassis from attaching to the blocks next to it? (Not the saw and radial chassis)
saw only breaks wood I think, and the chassis generally only stick to non-chassis blocks if they are made sticky, and only when it's made into a contraption, so if its clear in front and no other sides are sticky when you start it it will ignore collisions afterwards, probably...
