Sew with me! | DIY Sequin skirt tutorial

A sequin skirt for a special occasion is easier to make than you think! I'm using McCall's pattern M8055 for the base but putting my own spin on it! With Valentine's Day coming up, you can make this in no time! Material and notions listed below.
Materials/notions needed:
1 (91.44 cm) yard sequin knit fabric - mood fabrics.com/flavio-metallic
1 (91.44 cm) yard stretch jersey knit fabric - JoAnn
1 1/4 yd of 2-inch-wide soft waistband elastic - JoAnn
12-inch invisible zipper (optional)
