Looks fine & dandy FR. Would just love those big companies to make more low profile kbs. That is true fight I am waiting on. Great video as always Techne. 😎
happy to see gaming keyboards getting more and more like custom keyboards, this and the blackwindow v4 are finally catching up to custom keyboards standards
Just ordered this keyboard! I've been in the market for a new one since I dropped my old keyboard, and it's barely holding on for now. This board basically checked all my boxes, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cost. Yes, it's a little more expensive than some other brands, but in my opinion, it's fairly priced. I'm very excited about this board and can't wait to get my hands on it!
I think all plastic it should be at least $30 cheaper but after thinking about it for a couple of months of thinking you convinced me, I'm going to pick one up to test out. Probably won't replace my QK75n but I build all our systems in Corsair cases with their AIOs, fans etc... so everything is already running iCue anyway. I continue to hope that Drop is providing more influence in this area and it seem like they are as everything except for their naming convention seems to be getting better each release!
I'm so in love with this keyboard. I really, really wanna get it but it seems unwise. I also have decent keyboard (HyperX) as is and even though this one would be an amazing upgrade... I'm probably best off controlling myself. Ooooh, it's gonna tease me for a while. Anyway, great video, amazing keyboard. *breathe in... and breathe out*
Hey, I don't see why this keyboard should cost $160, it's nothing new in it, it's just one more keyboard on the market. Do you see any unique features here?
There are none, this is a very safe keyboard and you can honestly do better than this for the price. Not a bad keyboard by any means, I own one, but the only reason I do is because I got it at a pretty hefty discount thanks to my job. I don’t think this keyboard is worth its near $200 price tag.
I love everything about the Blackwidow V4 75, apart from the tactile switches! Maybe this is the best answer for now in the linear world of big brands?
Have you tried the Azoth? Just ordered one but thinking about cancelling and ordering this. I really wanted the Razer v4 but that's not available in UK layout :(
@@TheTechne im ok with that tho. i just like my board to look nice. but im not sure im ready to spend that type of doe on a mainstream board. 160 us is alot. would probably close to 200+ up here in good ol Canada. I have a epomaker th80 SE wireless 75 with flamingo switches that is doing quite well still. and that i paid probably 100$ less for. basically the same type board minus the battery indicator thingy. i like how this board sounds tho. its nice.
Recommendation? Looking for a full size KB. Previously all KBs were membrane. Want a Mechanical or Optical. Looking for something moderately quiet. Unsure what type of keys. Thinking MX Red or similar. Want something with good feel but not so fast I worry about double strikes.
Hey!!! Wanted to revist this vid hoping you might know how to fix a problem im having with this board. It just randomly flashes the rgb every few min. I havent seen any new postes on the web about it doing that. Wondered if you have had any similar issues with yours?
No way man! I actually had the same problem with mine before. Not sure what I did or what changed but it doesn't do it anymore, lol. I did cycle the side rgb button a few times, maybe that did something. But I thought I was going crazy when it happened to me. lol
@@TheTechne Ill give that a try. But you are not crazy. At least no more then the allotted amount.🤪 Glad its not just me either, other then that the board is perfect.
I always used roccat keyboards but now they are owned by turtle beach so I got the new turtle Beach variant and they've done something with it because it's a little noisier and has flex to it
But is it hot swap? Keyboards are largely a preference hobby and I personally don’t like the sound of those switches so if I was going to get one, I would change them out for something else.
I don't like the sound of the spacebar, but I admit that's a fairly common complaint in the keyboard world. However, nigh-perfect spacebars do exist on entry-level keyboards.
I wouldn't trade my keychron Q1 max for this in any scenario, but I have to say I am really suprised they not / not totally overpriced it. I mean It's not cheap, but from a big company sounds kinda decent. I am not sure if Its any better than a Royal Kludge M75 tho.
@@coyotex850 I follow some tech/keyboard nerd who usually do latency tests, and I think this is only a myth. Usually not the big brand keyboards are the fastests of all (corsair keyboards usually are middle of the pack) with some exception like the ROG Azoth which has insanely low latency even in wireless mode. I do not say they are bad by any means, but the tech is not advanced anymore, better cheaper options are very good.
Its not a good deal. I just got it and your own custom icue lighting doesnt work while in wireless mode. Ruines the whole point of wireless. Made a great keyboard just to absolutely ruin it.
asus azoth with no screen, more plastic, not quite as good switches, no white option, and they didn't even lube all the stabilizers/switches. im mostly just tired of black keyboards with rgb lighting. a white keyboard would simply show the lighting much better. why would i want to pay extra for rgb then mute it with black. like do i want rgb or stealth. whoever is getting corsair parts arent going for a stealth look. your target audience.. ill just say. so close. ill save my money and buy it when there is a white version for sure and slap some white pudding key caps on and lube the rest of it. no doubt. or hear me out, have it come like that and make it 175 and become a best seller.
I feel like the DROP purchase is starting to show on the Corsair products and that's a good thing!

Faceless and boring
Corsair has been releasing some cool stuffs at good $$ pricing

This or the Razer 75%?
When can I expect it to drop on ebay?

I'm impressed by this. Looks great, sounds great, and seeing that it is $130 on Amazon at the moment is kinda tempting.
Just curious where did the device that showed the noise level of the keyboard go? Great vid btw.

yessssssssssssss
I need rapid trigger for what I do. Can't use mechanical properly after I get my Q1 HE

The azoth in my opinion is amazing I’ve been using for a few months and my favorite keyboard I’ve ever used
I own an azoth. From what iv seen it's better than this k65
When does this go on sale? I'm in uk
today I thought
In the UK its currently only available on the corsair website - hopefully it hits other retailers soon!
Hey, any recommendations for earphones on Xbox? I want to be able to hear direction very well and not wear a large headset
Does it have 0.1 actuation
1.9
can you swap the keycaps on this or nah? because that keycap set is ass. lol
yes you can, but then you will lose the printed shortcuts on the stock caps

Corsair just had it on sale on their website for 80$ picked it up quick

this has all the goods and at $100. amzn.to/3uuC9kw
@@TheTechne Thanks
Why isn't this the k75 tho.
WHY and WHY, don't they use the MGX Switches with their upcoming rapid trigger? Cmon...
my keyboard is the ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless with NX Snow Switches
An excellent choice. One of the best I've tried at the best price.
They should have released A TKL version of that keyboard too.
@@madarasoun3018 it´s only 1 cm longer than a tkl but with numpad
It's hotswap too. Don't think that was mentioned.
I did show it
@@TheTechneSo you did. 😆
Can I use it wireless on an Xbox one
yes
@@TheTechneok thanks! I may just look into it now
Hey bro. This or steelseries apex pro tkl (2023)?? Which is better.
two different styles. Just decide if you will utilize the adjustable switches. Me personally I dont, so a board like this just feels better
Can you do top 5 dual connectivity headsets
This will be the one for me. My Streak80 bricked itself unfortunately. Picking this up at BB later today.
please guys..anyone know where to buy double shot key caps for this keyboard??
looks great
Does this board support dual receiver, meaning can I use a corsair wireless mouse with this keyboard on one USB dongle?
I do not believe so

These boards have MUCH lower latency because of the mcu/firmware....whether or not the average person will notice that is another story

Damn $160...quite pricey.
Looking at some other options at around $100 that are very similar. But it's definitely a nice keyboard nonetheless
Corsair, you got his address?
send that check!
The spacebar is backwards lmao
For FPS & MOBA, rapid trigger is indispensable now that it exists; I can’t go without it. It’s a extremely noticeable difference
it´s not
you said the endgame was good , it was laggy bad software

I don't see the point if the keys themselves don't light up.
Calling it 65 but have function row is such a meme
did I say 65? its 75
oh I see, K65 LOL I see your point now
