Just subscribed. Recently walked up Llanberis path and the weather was similar 😩 I’m a runner and interested in doing some trail events. Loved the vid and well done 🤙🏼
Thanks Scott, great to have you along. Shame about tge weather for your walk! Have a look at some of my other videos for ideas for trail runs you might like!
Ahh so great to see, as its so hard to describe to others what its like - now I can just show them! 😅 That path at the end caught out quite a few people!
Great video Julian I missed you at the start as we were all hiding in the tents due to the rain !! It certainly was a tough one, probably my hardest to date, I did fall twice on the rocks on the way down( black eye and bruised & grazed all over ) but got round. Sore calf's for the last two days, well done to everyone and the organisers, keep up the videos mate
@@Gslomandzycampervan Oh no! Sorry I missed you - that shower at the start was a pain, wasn't it! Really sorry you took a tumble, but you posted a cracking time in my book, well done. My calves are fine, but the quads have been pretty tender!
Loved watching this, really enjoyed your point of view! I’m the girl in the red pack and yellow socks who featured a bit throughout. Was lovely to meet you briefly during this race!
Wowsers weather was incredible, still so many people about! Turned into a nice day at the end! I think I'm going to give this race a miss. I did feel for you at the top, amazing how the temperature changes! 😊
@@debbiestreets4089 Yes - so many lessons to learn - many only small, but they all count! Also, I did some research and saw there was a Sikh charity fundraising walk on too!
@@mijzzzz Yeah! That was gritty - needed to dig deep - but you can see how the views perked me up, even with numb fingers and nearly breaking my camera 😱
@@HongKongUncensored Thank you! I missed the last flags too! We were together for a lot of the race - I never saw you in a hat - did your head get cold? 🥶
@@julianberry My head was alright, but I feel the same way for the hand as yours, I thought I might lose my right hand, I tried my best to concentrate grip on my hiking pole to keep blood circulating. It was man vs wild, unforgetable! Thanks for your company!
@@MrArnie82 The first 2 miles (4k) had 1000ft (300m) ascent, so I walked most of that. Next 3 miles (5k) was mostly all running. Then Snowdon. Llanberis path is about 4miles (6-7k) and I hardly ran any of it. The descent - first part was just scrambling, but the final 3-4 miles was very runnable!
Great video, I was there with two friends (we appear briefly with you at the start) and this video really does capture the event very well!
@@alexmasidlover6833 Thanks Alex - so many different challenges on that one, weren't there? And, I guess, that's why we do it!

@@harrier_trail_running Thank you! My jacket is actually an original Dartmoor - we've been through quite a lot of adventures together!

@@Overworkt So glad you found the video! That path! But I still really enjoyed a lot of the run - the descent was great once we got out of the clouds!
