Andy Serkis is such an under rated talent. I love what he did with his character in the black panther and mcu. Such a fun, crazy, bad guy. His voice is hilarious as well.
In the actual comics, Sam is still a Captain America(there are two separate individuals operating under that name....Steve and Sam), and has always used his wings as part of his version of Captain America.
Batman Begins not only told audiences that Comic Book movies were back, it told them this stuff can be semi believable and paved the way for daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher To me the place they put Nolan Batman is an aged up 70 year old Christian Bale Batman in a dystopian future, elements that echo Westworld but its Batman Beyond
I have a great idea for Netflix. They should try splitting a 15 episode season into 15 parts. Release one every week (sometimes every two or three weeks) and then you keep people talking about the show and keep people subscribed for 4+ months! I think they should try it, it would be revolutionary!
I don't understand people who keep saying "I wish they would go back to be about racing" when talking about The Fast and Furious movies... The original movie literally starts with "the family" doing a heist robbing a 16 wheeler. The movies have always been about heists first and street racing second.
Exactly! People just love to find reasons to trash the franchise because it's been around so long. They just need excuses to not like the new ones because nostalgia is so popular now.
1:41:41 True story, someone stole the Loki Alligator aka Wally The Emotional Support Alligator. He was kidnapped by some guy and a trapper which released him into a swamp. There's little to no hope of finding him.
I'm not mad at all that Anna Sawai wasn't in Suicide Squad. If that was her "breakout role" it could have completely changed the trajectory of her career. Having her break out in Monarch and then basically roggt after, Shogun, she has quickly shown herself to be an incrediblly gifted actor. When I type Anna into IMDB, she is the first to come up. This is her time and to me, it's perfect.
WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN was a great show!!!! It was only 1 season but it was BANGER and WOLVERINE was the main character of the show with everything hence the title but everyone got their just due.
Sam is super serum free and still has his wings in the comics so I’m going with under. I don’t think he will take or even need the serum. Batman doesn’t need super powers, Sam just needs to improve his fighting skills.
Anna was the best actor in ninja assassin. Her role really gave the movie some elements it needed. U could tell watching her then. That, she's got it, in spades
As a fan of both Paramount+ & Sony, I would love to see a merger. It would be beneficial for both companies long term to consolidate. Their overall offering would be larger, their catalog of franchises and movies would be pretty extensive and able to compete with the other giants. Having access to Sony's (and Nintendo) deep catalog of video game properties would give the streaming service a nice boost as well as that is the next hottest genre in Hollywood.
@@Dakr2000 Yeah, I guess you're right. Still they would have a large library of Sony game franchises to choose from. Not to mention Sony-Nintendo are both Japanese companies so maybe some future partnership (for movie distribution) is possible even if it's just 1 title.
If you’re looking for Bastion story arcs Operation Zero Tolerance and Second Coming. Both arc crossover to many X-Book for me to list them all. Both arcs should’ve trades by now.
at least donate the gear to a thrift store like echo tech or somethin so others can pick them up in their own time. so many people can't afford new ones and they were just being thrown out? I could use a new tv or two lol but in all seriousness ya, been looking for some for fam members
In comics, Bucky and Falcon were both met with some, I feel, small subconscious reject. Everyone referred to them as Bucky Cap and Falcon Cap respectively. I think some of that for Falcon did have something to with the fact that, like John says, he’s just Falcon with a new paint job.
Does Sam ever take the serum in the comics?? If not, I don't think he should in the MCU because it'll be a dis-service to the character. In plus, they'd be running the super soldier thing to the ground.
I think we see Sam take the serum in the 3rd act of this Captain America film. He'll put it off and put it off until he decides he can't win without it, especially if he's facing Red Hulk at the end. The serum is his only chance at defeating an enemy like Red Hulk and even with the serum, his chances would be small, but it at least gives him a shot.
I think sony & paramount would be the best from a consumer standpoint just for the streaming service alone. Disney+ wasn't a good enough deal till they bundled it with hulu. Max was insanely good & got mooshed together with discovery. Im interested in the star trek stuff on paramount+ but its kinda lacking they got a few good movies & tooo many B-movies they need more content & they're loosing the streaming war. If they merged with sony i would definitely get the service
Why do people think Jonathan Nolan would just want to write more Batman films? I think he's imagining writing and directing Batman films. Jonathan Nolan has been directing high-end TV shows for a while now so I'm sure he wants to move into directing films. Chris Nolan got most of the credit for The Dark Knight trilogy. I think Jonathan wants his shot without his brother this time.
Another batman from nolan is not happening anytime soon or in the future. Just let the trilogy stand as it is. I love the trilogy so much and Bale is my favorite batman. It's my favorite trilogy and movies of all time. I've been watching the dark knight trilogy since I was 6 years old as a kid when it premiered in 2005.
Batman is my ultimate favorite superhero of all time and became a batman fan when the trilogy came out. I grew up with these awesome trilogy of batman movies.
@isaiahyinko7182 I'm not saying bring back the Bale Batman. I think Jonathan Nolan wants to do his own version of Batman. It would be tough at this point though because Gunn already has his idea for the new DCU Batman and we have the Pattinson Batman so there's not really an opening for Jonathan to create his own version right now. Maybe when Pattinson is done they'll let Jonathan do his own version from scratch.
I know for invstors it has to be about the money but all I care about is which corporate overlords will be the best collaborators with creatives. I feel like thats Skydance
Ya but didn't Ryan go on record saying that Snipes was absolutely horrible to work with? And that he was high or intoxicated most of the time? Didn't he also stay in character the whole time and miss a lot of shoots? I remember Ryan saying something about his very awkward working relationship with snipes during the 3rd blade.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding should have been set in Winnipeg, Canada where good Canadian kid Nia is actually from, rather than set in Chicago because the Hanks happened to help finance the film.
@@Speedster2000 oh if we’re just talking Netflix Originals, maybe Money Heist counts. Not sure if that was before or after Lucifer’s final season though
8:15 - you make a good point: the fast & furious has similar plot points to Point Break. Which raises another question: how is it that the Alexander Payne film the Holdovers is being accused of plagiarism bc those plot points are very similar to another script that was on the black list written by Luca writer Simon Stephenson?? Is it bc in 2001 they just took from other films & now it’s not acceptable?
The first F&F didn't shy away from the fact that it was a Point Break remake. It wasn't marketed as that, but it was so obvious that everyone just took it as 'another Point Break'. It wasn't until the sequels that the franchise became its own thing.
I don't think Chris Nolan would want to return to Batman. My dream for this scenario--writer Jonathon Nolan, Director Denis Villeneuve. Staring Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitte, Anne Hathaway and so on.
I love how the viewer sends a comment about hoping to avoid spoilers for X-Men '97, and then John spoils the episode a minute later without any warning 😂
I don't mind when seasons are broken up into two parts, but I can't stand it when they break them up into three or more parts. Attack on Titan was horrible about this in their final season. To me at that point you should just make an extra season.

@alexp601 oh crap, that's a really good point. But...If he hit the gym, I think he could at least pull it off tho. And they're supposedly still doing at least 1 more Riddick movie. I'm still hopeful, don't ruin it for me. Lol.
@@simonkammeyer4334 Heh I wouldn't mind seeing another Riddick film, it's a huge universe to explore, but yeah I don't think he has it in him to get into that kind of shape anymore, and do a physical role like that. How about a Riddick reboot without Vin? (or him as an older mentor type or a cameo)
Can anyone else hear like a fan or some sort of machine in the background since they moved back to John's home? It's very noticeable when wearing my headphones listening to the show. It's hard to concentrate on what they are saying with the noise.
I get it, but it would be less logical. An ex-assassin and unstable guy who murdered lots of innocent people to be the face of the USA. I don’t know about that. Steve chose right.
Dark Knight Rises was trash. That film alone disqualifies this iteration from being any kind of definitive Batman. A Batman who continually quits is no longer Batman. When you take away the defining trait of the character then it’s no longer that character.
That was one of my main issues with TDKR. Bruce Wayne wouldn't just all of a sudden fake his death and leave Gotham. I know the intention was to have John Blake take up the fight against corruption of Gotham in his place, but it still seemed like an out of character thing for Bruce to do. He understands it's a neverending fight, but he's dedicated his life to it. Even though I would've hated him dying, I honestly feel like that would've been more believable given the type of person Bruce is.
Sneider works very well with this crew!
