O-Chem Recrystallization Intro and Procedure by Dr John Davison at Irvine Valley College, in Irvine, Ca. (Part 2 of 7) of the chemistry lab safety series. (4,425 prior views)
Informative tutorial on recrystallization procedure. Techniques are great and easy for students to reproduce! Thank you for sharing it with us and keep up the good work!
that music is killing me xD but it's actually a very good explanation video. im becoming a chemical technician and in our organic chemistry lab days we do a recryst with nearly all of the products we synthesize - but instead of letting us figure out which would be the most suitable solvent and technique, we always get proper procedures in beforehand (which is ofc more close to our everyday work later, chemical technicians seldom do sciency stuff and are more practically oriented). so you explaining this stuff actually helped me quite a bit.
Thank you Sir for Recrystallization Procedure. how to do recrystaliation of phenylacetic acid. can you please upload the video (OR) best recrytalliation solvent.
This is the man that I want to teach me Organic Chemistry! Bring him ;)
Accidental sand. I see he's known some of the same people I've known.
A lot of thanks. I am studying my PhD in Chemistry of Natural Products and your explanation dissipated many doubts i had about recrystallization.
love the music!
your very chill man, I'd rather have you as my teacher ^^
whats up with the late 90s tv shoe music tf
I love it

I still don't get why water and alcohol are so different
this video helped a lot. thanks.
I love you, your lectures are always on point
This is all completely contrary to how a dtb crystallizer works...
Dang Pre Reqs, im ready to jump into organic chem!
Thanks for the great explanation!
