Will this $300 Ranger Make it 3 hours home?

Andrew bought this Mazda B2500 (ranger ) for $300. It has a new head gasket but has a misfire,lifter tick, tons of blowby, and runs like garbage. We attempt and fail miserably to drive it 3 hours home.

I assume that you will be rebuilding the engine or replacing it? Body looks to be in great shape actually. You must be down south.

Actually it already got sent to the boneyard. Body was dented and beat up, typical condition for Florida. We found the timing off by a tooth, but it didn't run any better. Glitter in the oil and it still had massive blowby. He got a $200 ranger the next week that was way better, his landlord wanted this one gone and nobody who expressed interest actually called.

@@pfun41 Too bad you couldnt keep it for a parts car for the other one. Sorry to hear it died. Well, What the heck. Would have been nice to see an autopsy. :) . The video didnt really show off all the dents and such. Looked kinda good.

@@northpoint1039 I wanted to autopsy the engine, but he needed it gone and the junkyard gave him more than he paid after he stripped a bunch of parts off.

While I was looking for an engine I found an even better ranger for $200. Which actually made it 3 hours home.
