2.2 ohv was discontinued after 2002 in these cars. They went to the ecotec only. I had an 02 LS Sport manual coupe and it had the optional ecotec, but the ohv was still available. Then, the 03-05 were standard with the ecotec. I had an 05 LS Sport coupe manual in orange that was flawless and I mean flawless. I sold it to a friend and he destroyed it. The real downfall of these cars were the sunroof gear stripping, they used an Audi/vw plastic gear for it which was stupid. And the dashes cracked so bad. I loved my cavaliers and I think the coupes were sharp. Sweet car. Would be really fun in a manual doing the gambler.
Whoa! Don't come at the ohv like that, they're pretty decent if you take care of em, got one up to 350k and even then. The body rusted before the engine died. I'm actually building a n/a ohv using some corvette parts 😸
Seen 3 ecotechs get over 200k personally with no major issues. But have heard ohv engines was not bad engines like he claimed. I think the first gens of the ohv was bad engines. I don't think the ecotechs are junk by no means I just think they are owners out there that don't know the meaning of oil change lol.
you put all that unnecessary work into that front wheel Drive Vehicle But don't want to buy a proper battery You could have just bought an old 4 runner That car is not made like that but hey it's your car have at it
HAHAHA, love this!!! Totally unexpected build.
I’m going to make one like yours! Awesome inspiration
Legendary build lol
Awesome
You sound like you could do a spot-on, flawless, impression of Mordecai from Regular Show.
