The music “All Gone” represents something of our humanity being taken away. It is played in 4 specific parts in the game everytime a character loses a bit of the aspect that keeps their humanity. This scene is supposed to represent the Last of Ellie’s innocence being taken away from her. It is unfortunate they didn't play that song during this part. It's perfectly highlights the emotions in the game. However I still prefer the show version to the game version of the way the scene is done but the music is the missing factor to make it perfect. Why I like the show version is because Joel isn’t there to preserve the last of her innocence. Which led to an amazing scene where they are walking towards the lake, where before fire (hell/sin) was taking over Ellie now the water (heaven/baptization) to wash away her sins to preserve her innocence, which is what Joel represents with his consoling her. But the music that represents the last of what makes us us being taken away didn’t play :(. So I can’t decide which I prefer.
I agree that the music is so critical in specific scenes to convey what we actually need to realize about what's unfolding. Humans are complex beings and sometimes it's difficult to grasp their internal dialogue.
@@reembokreacts well in this case it was more adding an extra thematic layer rather than conveying since Bella and Pedro had already done a perfect job of that.
Bella deserves to win an award for this

DON'T PUT SPOILERS IN YOUR THUMBNAIL. It's a dick move to people casually scrolling past.
There must be an alternative.
