Agreed! Greece also has some stunning looking cities, especially Santorini! I'm surprised that Greece is still not being touched with any of the world updates.

They need to open up the water to 3rd party developers so REX can do their thing like they did in FSX/P3D.

They do. I was actually able to stop using openxr toolkit and its smoother than its ever been on my old 2080ti. The only other change I made was upgrading DLSS dll to 3.7

The offline mode would be great because back when I lost my internet connection after a hurricane, it was still over a week before I could get back online, as a result, I couldn't fly MSFS at all, and that was pretty much bullshit in my eyes.

2024 should use google earth, seriously more up to date. In 2020 a fire station built in 2016 still isn’t there, lots of terrain is very dated.

Do you use AIG Obsidian Ant? Alpha India, they add real world liveries (1000+) to the airlines but also small planes and helicopters makes it a bit more realistic :)
Will the Darkstar also be unavailable for download for new users once the Maverick expansion is removed? That would be a shame.
If you already have it, you'll be able to download it but, if you don't already have it, why not? It's free. Just click the big blue "Claim" button and it's yours, even if you don't install it. That said, if you don't have it already despite it being free, why would you care if it's not there after the addon is removed? Also you clearly didn't pay attention to the video because literally answered your question.
what about the terrain issues? the textures being changed as you fly over them?

Basically without saying the new market place will be more secure in regards to pirated addons, currently it is too easy to get and use them.

Hello, it is nice to hear so many good positive things about MSFS 2024, but what surprises me, I never heard any comments about what will happen to all these addons purchased from third parties? Will they be compatible with MSFS 2024? (In fact, vice-versa). I bought for more than € 1000.- of planes and sceneries from SimMarket and JustFight: will I have to re-buy everything or MSFS 2024 will allow to use at least some of them? Anyone knows? Thanks in advance

If you don't have MSFS20 at this point, I'd just wait till MSFS24 drops as there is going to be a lot of overlap between them.

Asobo/Microsoft have said multiple times that they need to get the relevant data from the relevant people and they haven’t been able to get it.

So is FS 2024 a re-purchase? i.e. a "new" product, rather than an update to FS?
FS 2025 is an entirely new game. That said the current mods for 2020 should work with 2024.

I was under the impression that FS 2020 was going to be "the" FS going forward, rather than just being just another produce SKU.
They need to update Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, and Orlando, Florida.
The slow downloads is a complete deal breaker. It’s been 1,5 years. Ridiculous!
That's too bad they have to drop the Top Gun content. This means FS 2024 will have no Darkstar. ☹️ Hopefully something else comes along that can go that high and similarly fast to replace it. Even an SR71 would be great as Mach 3 at FL800 is nothing to sneeze at.

When I press the button for a camera I want to switch immediately to that stored camera position and I DON'T WANT TO TOGGLE that camera.
This actual behavior annoyed me from day 1 of msfs until now in each flight!

Yes. If they didn't think it wouldn't make money, they wouldn't be making it in the first place. It was why there was such a gap between MS Flight and MSFS20.

I love this sim but I feel somewhat disappointed because *only Points Of Interests and monuments and 90% of roads are accurate.* This means; *most small bridges, your house, your school and university are not accurately shown in the game!* In my experience; in my city, *many bridges are missing, hospitals and schools/universities look like (BIG) suburb buildings!* 😣😭
The worst part about this is that 2024 is probably going to come out in October or December. I'm hopeful for summer as I will hopefully have a new PC by then, but I really just want 2024 already. The new missions and operations sound awesome and I can't wait to fly them. Landing in the snow sounds like a really fun challenge.

Improved memory system? Sounds like MSFS is being re-written in Rust (a programming language with a specific focus on proper memory management - a loooooooooonnnng time failure of MS products)
With no doubt 2024 will be realistic 100% but Asobo should consider also airplanes come with it it was second hand..do you believe at this time no A380 Boeing 777 or 747or even A320.A321& Boeing 737 ..professional in msfs 2020..this is flaws 2020..

It would be cool in career mode in fs2024 if you don't make enough money you can cut back on maintenance for your planes, fabricate documents regarding pilot rest and flight restrictions. The consequences would be very cool to watch.

I know 2020 won’t be getting a UI overhaul, but I truly hope Asobo can offer a PC-specific UI for the 2024 release. The Xbox tiles are terrible.

Playing 2020 when you know 2024 is out with all those extra cool features is going to suck, but i'm not going to buy a brand new PC just for one game. I'd rather play nothing in that scenario than be stuck with the cr4p version, thankfully there's a lot out there to play instead
2020 is going to be better for ever then 2024 i personally think 2024 is going to be an arcade stylish version of MSFS for everyone to be able to fly and play not just simmers, which i hate lmao, nah ill stick to 2020 not even for free i would want 2024 with its silly arcade style missions

It is crazy how they have never sold a fully functional piece of software for 4 decades now, and they still get away with it! Always have to click the 'this software doesn't work correctly' box before they allow you to install it 😂
