here in India, our power supply company has just installed meter from this company and there is a RS 232 port on the meter. But I am afraid to connect to it...do reading values may trigger tampering mode?

i add a device as per my meter configuration.I got some data and Association Logical Name...but no any register value i get, can you help me ..what i did wrong
