Tomorrow...we jump on the test panel and test this products durability to real world exposure! Stay tuned!
Will you be comparing it against other ceramic waxes, like Ethos and Adams?
It's a winner I put totally awesome on it 5 times still going strong tfs buddy
You always say in your videos not to buy everything you review, but you are so talented it makes me want to do the opposite! Lol
And I personally prefer a spray sealant, if I am working with sio2, but a liquid if I am working with a sealant.
I tested it on a naked panel, didn't care for it too much.. hopefully you get some better results then me 💪
From an enthusiast point of view, I think that a spray is great for those weekends when you want to have a clean glossy car but don't have the time or energy to go at it. But the liquids or pastes are nice for those therapeutic weekends when you want to forget about everything and just detail the crap out of your ride..
Just had one of those therapeutic Details today :/
Just picked up 2 days ago and used on my 2011 Subie Impreza.Very smooth via hand or d.a. polisher.Dries clear and wipes off effortlessly.Smells great and a little spreads forever!😎💪✌
I have been using technicians choice ceramic detail spray for a few years. Love the results , so no need to change . But I do love that you test all the different products that come out
I used the hybrid ceramic spray wax on my dark blue ford four months ago and I have to say, it was so easy to apply, remove, and it made the paint look much better than the Collinite insulator wax. Four months later still beading and still glossy and slick. I can’t wait to try this.
That removal looks enjoyably easy, take notes CG, *that's* what we're looking for.. 😁 Thanks, Brian! 👍👌✌
Great review as always Brian I still prefer a paste sealant or wax and the sprays for toppers when needed. Still love the collinite, fusso and power lock . Something about the prep and work that’s put in to applying them is therapeutic and rewarding to me.
This is my new go to wax for my vehicles. Easy to apply and seems to protect the paint very well. 2 months later and I'm still getting insane water beading
I just used it today. I love this product
The fact that they're calling this a ceramic wax boggles my mind. All the major over the counter companies are milking the hell out of the word "ceramic" since it's the new buzzword in the industry
Would love to see as a topper of a sealant, wonder if it could boost a bit more gloss to it
There are so many new good products on the market now. It's like a car care renaissance! I love that Caddy in that color... must be a fun summer car.
Maybe an idea for another way to test durability, is sprinkling dust or fine sand on the panel, and rinsing it away. Like to simulate driving and dirt/gravel flying on your point.
Being a mobile detailer living in Minnesota, your insight into this, and all products is invaluable to me. Though I do pick up a few details over the winter months, I'm really not back into the swing of things until April, and then don't really have the time to test and evaluate all the new products.
Looking forward to see how this Meg's product holds up...
Thanks, Brian!

Brian, I'm with you wax vs. spray on, takes about the same amount time to apply, so product type and choice boils down to the desired performance you want.
I like the ceramic waxes but have also used the sprays before as well. I am going to try Ice Seal N Shine on my truck in the spring.
Great informative video bro! Just got a new truck so looking for great tips like yours! Thanks!
I personally like paste wax or liquid waxes over spray. I feel like they might take only 10 minutes longer but I get less to no streaking or high spots
I have been using this for months. This stuff is amazing and my customers love it. Its very durable when the paint is prepped. I make an all in out of it. By using a few drops of my favorite water based swirl removers a couple two drops of a medium fine and a couple drops of a couple drops of their ultra fine. Then i poor a thick ring of this stuff around it on a lite cutting pad. I work it quickly into the paint with a 21mm polisher and everytime it has come out lile glass. zero swirls . i do this in direct sun light where i have seen the paint reach temps of 160. Thats just the way it is here in sw fl. You cant let it dry on the car for more than 15 sec. I do about 4 or 5 quick cross hatch passes . wait about 10 sec and wipe off.
I did this on a black Lincoln Aviator that came back to me because she closed the garage door and it scraped her car . nothing a little 2000 grit wouldnt fix. Well let me tell you that i had a horrible time cutting through this stuff getting to the paint . i don't recommend mixing it with just any swirl removers. I tried a few different ones and it was a horrible experience. m just saying with the right ones its amazing. I think because its getting cut into the paint and baked on by the sun that made so hard to sand through. Just my educated guess.
Thanks Brian. You’re the best !
Just used this today i have never been one to wax any of my cars. But just got a new one and want to keep that color deep. This was easy to use, I only washed the car first since I just bought it. It had a full detail done already. Then applied this to it. Super easy to take off it took me about 2 hours because I'm slow and wanted to get the best results plus it said wait 3-5 minutes per panel application. Paint turned out showroom deep glass like. 👍
Can't wait to see the test result of this new product, I'm currently using the Meguiars hybrid Ceramic spray wax which is good & easy to apply after washing my car
For a standalone or topper it’s quartz max or moonlight for me. Moonlight may take more time but it’s worth it to me.
As far as the spray stuff if it’s not a paste or something doesn’t seem good enough. I am really old school. Brian thank you really enjoy your videos it is always trying to learn something. A day without learning is a day lost
Love the Z06 behind you!
Wonder if it has the supercharger with the ice box
Great video! Honestly I like spray sealants better than breaking out machine polisher if possible. If paint is dark color polisher is necessary. Got ceramic saturation yet yes and its beginning of the year. Keep videos coming!
I just did my car,,,,,wow! it is so easy to put on and take off...really good stuff. Thanks for posting on you tube,,
I like a spray sealant. Everything I've tried so far has surpassed any wax I've ever applied by hand with better shine, gloss and durability.
I used my first ceramic wax this past week just to give one a try (and it was on sale). I've kind of avoided it because of number of products coming out. Figured it was a good a time as any. That one was more difficult to apply. I'm willing to give this one a try as well.
Looks like a nice gloss! Gonna see the results tomorrow
I saw someone else do a durability test on this and I wasn’t very impressed so will be interested in seeing yours
I think the issue between spray or liquid comes down the final wipe down. Most spray require immediate removal else they can streak. If you can do the entire car and then come back to final buff then that means the same effort. Saves time in the job.
Thank you for the GREAT review!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d love to see you review Infinity wax Synergy Ceramic wax! Durability is 54 weeks on a single coat and the water beading and sheeting is next level.
I prefer the spray sealants. Great video B.
I'd love to see this against DPC's Armor.
Apex can you review optimum spray polishes and compounds!
First time using anything like this as far as the ceramic wax goes Maguires always was a good product so far my car looks good very happy with it I will put another coat on it another day and be a little bit more particular like you are thank you very much good video
I would like to see this up against the new TW ceramic spray. The spray is very quick to use. Durability between the two is the big question.
My opinion on wax or sealant install I will always prefer hand method. I have bit in on the ceramic products. I preordered M27 thru detailimage. I like the end result of Meguiar's ultimate from a gloss aspect, so I am curious how M27 turns out.
Im looking for a easy to apply and remove wax. I will try this one. Thanks!
I would put collinite 845 or M21 underneath of it and then use that to top it off.
Apex will test gloss readings on ceramic wax and ceramic coating when first applied and again after 24 hrs to see if gloss increases. Many thanks😎👍
Hey where can I find one of those gloss meters from?
Gotta wonder why some even bother with boutique products any more. The only gap is price. Would like to hear a commentary by you regarding this trend.
Crazy to think i got it at Wal-Mart for a whopping 15
Should you apply some type of sealent on top of this or can I just apply this on my paint as my last step ? (I’m just getting into detailing so I’m not sure about the proper steps)
Very well made video! I've got a question regarding this wax: would you apply it after using Meguiar's G200200 Hybrid Clay Kit?
I'd use the Hybrid Clay Kit to remove bonded contaminants and I'd apply the Liquid Ceramic Wax right after, to seal the paint and to add a layer of protection.
Thanks in advance!
I would love to hear your opinion on the Maguires ceramic wax as far as to the Maguires synthetic. They’re both love easy to apply are used to synthetic. That’s more my speed but if this is better and it has filling properties always trying to make life easy easy brother!!
I love this stuff except for the self leveling or "disappearing" technology. Sometimes becomes difficult to see where you applied it.
I’d love to see this against Adams ceramic liquid wax.
Personally, I just like the process of "waxing" a car vs spraying on a sealant or spray wax and wiping it in.
I want to buy this but its not available in the Uk yet ;-( ,thanks for the great vids
I can use this as a maintainer after polishing and waxing.
I know you said it could be added on top of other coatings but just double checking if I were to use the Meguiers ceramic quick detailer and put this on top. Would that be fine and if so how long in between applications of each product?
Tacsystem paintwork cleaner, is it really a clay bar replacement? Anxious to see your review.👍
Maybe its just me, but I prefer the results I get from a ceramic wax rather than just a ceramic spray sealant. The application of a ceramic wax may be just a tad bit more involved but I think the gloss, protection life, and hydrophobic properties turn out better.
1. Can I apply this on top of Meguiar fast finish?
2. Advisable to apply frequently without a full polish(prep)?
I don’t have access to a polisher.
I just tied the new McKees37 ceramic spray 365 and really good
I use Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax (synthetic), would this be a good replacement?
Mine left a greasy film on the paint. Any idea why?
Thanks for great video. Please confirm it won’t leave residue on plastic trim. Thanks again from UK.
Hey, The meguiar's looks good so far. I like the idea of real world testing on the sample panel. With respect i have never understood the torture test theory on auto paint. I am a long time viewer, Thank you for your dedication to your craft and channel. Edit; I misspelled meguiar's initially thanks.
I am doing my best to emulate real world testing.
Brian, what causes super fine little lint that seems to stick to the paint when I use sio2 products. My micro fiber towells are carcarze edgeless 70/30 blend.
Can you apply this on a ceramic coated car with a machine polisher and a finishing pad?
Nice video. I was given this wax yesterday for my bday.
If it’s easy to apply I can see using it on my wheels. I use the hybrid ceramic spray on my wheels when they are wet and just wipe off. I love the smell. So far the protection seems lower on all these ceramic waxes then the weakest spray sealants. I’d stick with sprays if I wanted longevity. If I was better with polisher I’d just put a real ceramic on everything but takes me to long.
How long will it last? And I was planning to put this on top of my collinite 915 paste wax
Great video buddy
Have you ever done a review on p&s interior cleaner. If not i have a bottle here for you. I actually live around the corner from speedway.
can this product be used on a 9H Ceramic coat job as a maintenance coat
I'm very interested in seeing how Meguiar's progresses with all their products, by default they set their bar high, being owned by 3M, 3M has a lot of resources, cream of the crop Chemists. 3M does about $32B in sales and employees 90,000 people, and allows it's employees to use 15% of their time to work on any idea they have, the 15% rule goes back to 1923 when a 3M Engineer visited a Body Shop and observed a worker struggling to tape a car; and the tape at the time did a poor job at best of protecting surfaces, this inspired the 3M Engineer to invent Scotch-Brand tape (keep in mind back then 3M was primarily an abrasives company), the Engineer was remanded for working on his "pet" project, and told to confine his work to sand paper, a decade later the tape was making $1.15M in sales. I'm sure 3M has a few detailing Enthusiasts within it's ranks.
Like you...?
Awesome 😎
I don't have a shaded area, can it be applied while the vehicle is uncovered from sunlight?
First off, thank you for the great content and reviews. Secondly, How do you handle paint prep and polish when the vehicle has vinyl decals/stripes? Thank you for your time.
To polish them...I use a mild polish / cleaner. to prep. mist a mils IPA solution onto a microfiber instead of directly on the panel itself and gently clean.
Brian as always, thanks for the review. The question, I know it was an entry-level but what polisher were you using.
MaxShine M8.
Can I use it on top of Cquartz Finest Reserve ?
Hey Brian, would you say it has any filling properties for light swirls or no?
What are the readings after the application???
just so i understand it correctly .....say i use seal and shine for my base i can use a polish or wax after and it will enhance the gloss. i always thought the sealant went on after to protect the wax or polish.
I just bought a used 2019 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet in Cardinal Red Metallic from a Mercedes dealer. I have always used Nu Finish since 2001 on all my Nissan Maxima's, so I am familiar with the product. However, I have had several recommendations on the Meguiar's products. Since the Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax is their recommendation, and is a new product, where Nu Finish has been around a long time, would you recommend one over the other?
Where, in the Daytona Beach area, can you purchase this product? Can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Honestly I dont reach for a non spray product unless it would be my base layer of protection. Toppers are spray only for me.
Is there any benefit to applying with a DA polisher?
How well will this product hold up in a hot environment like Arizona?
Can I use on matte black wheels ?
which is the best car wax? how much months does it lasts??
previously used meguiars ultimate paste wax... is it hybrid liquid ceramic wax better??
Is it needed to polish if you have a new car? I washed, clayed and the hybrid ceramic liquid wax.
What microfiber towel is he using, anybody know?
Will it truly not stain black plastic trim pieces?
Can you used regular spray wax like Meguiars express wax over it?
With the spray - on version you can't let it dry out before polishing off so you have to be quick to polish it off? With this version, I hear you say you can go all around the car before wiping it off. I prefer not to have to be concerned about quickly removing the layer before it dries out, so this liquid version gets the thumbs up from me. Not sure if it's available in the UK yet though.
Have you tried 99% isopropyl for panel prep?
So you’re can leave this on for 12 hrs before wiping?
Quick question guys, can I apply a nano ceramic 9h coat over Meguair's hybrid ceramic liquid wax for added protection and longevity? I have ordered both products and was wondering if my approach would work. I would wash/clay/compound/polish followed by applying the hybrid ceramic liquid wax and finally end with a nano-ceramic coat to seal everything ...
Do we always need to polish first before applying the ceramic wax?
I am doing a cosmetic paint restoration on my 2003 Harley Davidson with white and blue pearl. The paint is pasty white (no blue pearl). I am using Meguiars waxing procedures as shown on RUclips. Excellent results with the blue pearl, incredible and the shine and depth is amazing. Why are you suggesting to wait 24 / 48 hours after applying the ceramic wax? Is this a curing time? Excellent video a pleasure to learn from the experts. I know nothing about deltailing
Nxt wax is good for light colours please guide
Turtle Wax Seal N Shine vs Meguiars Hybrid Liquid Ceramic Wax, which is better?
Will this product last a year like ceramic coatings?
Do one on automagic new car glaze you are going to luv it. Im not a dealer im just a regular guy with a couple off cars👍🏻
Is this the same as a ceramic coating
