If Sivka is available, I think the Fever will take her and she will be willing to play for the Fever - Sold out crowds and bright spotlight. Also I don't see PaoPao going to the fever unless Mitchell doesn't want to stay and they trade her away.
Agree, but Sivka could go to NY too. Really hinges on her willingness to come to the US and specific cities. I could see Unrivaled making a big difference.
Unless Sivka is the kind of player who needs to stay away from the spotlight to excel; sure, Sivka is one of the best players on a team that has no playoff prospects, but that team has no claim to the spotlight, in which case the Lynx or even the Storm might be a better fit. While hockey is notorious for having lots of players who need to stay out of the spotlight to play well, women's basketball might also have those players, too.
@@aitch_b maybe, Indy might just off a player package or player with second and third round picks. I hope they don’t give too much for an injury prone player, as good as Satou is.

@@gphillimoPaoPao, Citron, Kiki, and probably Sellers. Paige, if possible, but injuries are scary. Those are my only interests for Fever from the draft. I think if there is a way to trade for Kate Martin and Celeste Taylor, they should try to get those two for bench support. The CC familiarity, the utility, and the defense.
I don’t like all your picks, but love the analysis it is very good. I think Sivka may go higher. She is ready for the leap. I know you are a Sky fan and your thinking on Sellers is good, but do you see her being thrust into the starting point guard role as a rookie? That is a big leap. I think Aneesah is having a great year and climbing the draft board. I love Sonia Citron’s complete game, but don’t see her in DC. I also don’t see PaoPao in Indy…and all bets are off if Flau’Jae Johnson declares!
I agree with Quita on Paige going #1. In addition to the points she makes about Paige being a great player, she is also a household name in women's hoops. In other words, the name "Paige Bueckers" will help sell tickets and bring fans out to the arenas. I bring this up because I see a lot of WBB fans arguing that Olivia Miles is better than Paige and should go #1. Fans who believe Olivia is a little better than Paige, are not factoring in that the name Paige Bueckers has become a brand and, at this point, is much more "marketable". Case in point---Paige Bueckers is the first college athlete to ever launch a Nike player edition shoe. We must remind ourselves that WNBA teams are for-profit organizations and seek to sell tickets, merchandise, ad space, television rights, and so on.
Paige might be more marketable than Olivia, but may even demand a trade on the draft floor because she's very, very unhappy about the organization as well as Texas' poor track record in women's rights.
@@A350Airways First, I don't think we can say she "might" be more marketable than Olivia. We know she is. That said, you are right. Paige doesn't want to play for Dallas.
@@Criminal.Lawyer.2024 If Paige actually demanded a trade on the draft floor, then Paige's marketability will take a serious hit. That said, Paige carries an atrocious reputation for injuries that Miles doesn't. It's not like the NBA or NFL where rookie contracts are on a sliding scale based on draft positions.
@@A350Airways Paige has other options though. 1) she can stay at Uconn for another year. 2) she can sit out the 2025 draft and re-enter in 2026. 3) her agent can tell Dallas not to pick her because she will demand a trade. Dallas might now want to hassle. Who knows. And honestly, I'm not convinced that Olivia is an automatic #2. Many believe Dallas' top priority is a wing player who plays good defense...not a point guard. It would not surprise me if Kiki Iriafen and/or Aneesah Morrow went ahead of Olivia because teams are likely going to select based on what they need--in terms of position and skill set.
For some of these players I feel those like Barker (a draft eligible Junior) and the Euro players many might wait a year before coming to the WNBA, either staying in College or staying in Europe if you sign a new contract with this draft you will likely be locked into that contract for at least 3 years - A new CBA is coming after next season and many expect the salaries to be 20-30% higher. I don't think that would affect Paige or Azzi 's decision they make way more $$ in endorsements (NIL etc) than the WNBA will ever pay them, but for players making under 100k in NIL or making over 70K in Europe do you come to the WNBA? - now some Euro players may still come depending on the leagues they play in as many leagues are opposite the WNBA schedule it would matter on their specific league and national team schedules and perhaps if they have training pay (some teams will pay players not to play in the WNBA and risk injury etc, they prefer they recover/train in the offseason). As for Paige or Azzi I think their health and if they win a championship will have alot to do with their choices. I could see if Uconn stays healthy but falls just short them returning to Uconn to play together another year. As of now Uconn still has a roster spot reserved for Paige - if that spot gets filled it might be a bit of a tell, and if the spot remains open throughout recruiting then that might also be a tell (or it could be nothing).
So Hunter, let me know... How bad did I do? I know Sellers at #3 is a bit adventures but it could out to be genius depending on how she continues to develop.
if the top three played out this way I think it might be 4. Malonga, 5. Kiki Iriafen, 6. Citron, my thinking is Iriafen is a duplication of Edwards, so they go with a C as Austin cannot stay healthy (availability is most important ability). They have Dolson for another year so if Malonga stays in Europe and develops more it is not the end of the world. Then at 6 they pick up the highly versatile Citron (one of my favorite players).
Coach Mulkey already basically confirmed this is her last year in one of the previous press conferences this year😅 But it seems Flaujae still playing around with the idea😅 when I watched her podcast it seems like she's still on the fence about it though 😊 But it seems the coach basically prepared for it😂
Flau’jae Johnson will declare for 2025 draft. You can lock that in. Alyssa Utsby out of UNC fits so perfectly with how the Minnesota Lynx play, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they chose her, if she’s been on their radar. Plus she’s Minnesota girl. Where do you have Azzi Fudd going?
I'm not sure it would be a good idea to get locked into the current 4 year rookie deal when if she waits till 2026 and the new CBA things could be very different. But, she makes such good NIL money I am not sure if that would make the rookie contract irrelevant or if it would make it easier to wait until 2026.
I am hoping for LSU to win a championship so that Falu Jae can feel like she accomplished what she needed to accomplish and declare, then LA pick her at the no. 2 spot and then Chicago can get Olivia Miles. That's a lot of hoping, wishing, finger crossing, genies and rabbits feet, But I can dream. lol
She’s already accomplished more championships than Caitlin Clark. She doesn’t really need another one. She’s already advertising for Unrivaled because they want her in the league. She’s not gonna put that off for another year. Hopefully she’ll get her degree in three years, in case that’s important to her mama.
Sellers at 3 is wild lol Citron is the perfect fit for the Sky and she more than likely wont be there at 10, but if Sellers is there at 10 I dont see the Sky passing on her, their GM said they would prefer a guard over 6 feet
As a Sky follower, this is a no. The Sky really need shooting. I don't see them drafting two none shooters. I understand Sellers as a PG prospect (although not a true PG), @ #3 may be reaching. Quinerly can score, but she doesn't shoot well enough and she's too small for me.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Sky took Paopao at number 3. I know the GM said they need a wing, but at the end of the day what the truly need is three point shooting. Paopao is also a really good passer/combo guard and can play point a little bit. Plus she's already used to playing with Kamilla.
@ Or they trade up and offer up a future 1st and this year’s 3rd. She would be worth it. Her game pairs perfectly with the sky team currently constructed
@ActionJackson2523 I don't see any team giving up picks especially LA but it's not far fetched to see sky trade the 3rd pick for a veteran PG or even go after jewel Lloyd
TLDR 1. Malonga is almost, close to, NEARLY confirmed, to go to Washington. Unless she goes 1-3. She's already spent time training in the DMV. 2. The player we hate to talk about is certainly going in the first round. I mean she's 6'7" and plays like it. 3. Sellers is a really good sleeper player, but there's a fair chance that shes still be on the board for Chicago's second 1st round pick. 4. Chicago should probably quickly grab a shooter, like PaoPao (if they keep Chennedy Carter). 5. I think there's a few players you didn't mention that have a fair chance to go top 10. ------------------------------------------ Dominique Malonga -She's almost a lock for Washington and it would be very surprising if she decides to not play in America. -Around the end of December until the beginning of January this year, she took time away from France to workout in America at The University of Maryland (College Park, MD is about a 15-20 min drive from DC, in bad traffic). -She's represented by the same agency as Bilal Coulibaly who plays for the Wizards. They appear to be making rounds, marketing her to the American market. She's a Jumpman Athlete. -She has come to DC to watch the Wizards play multiple times between last year and this year (Bilal Coulibaly and Alex Sar, players popular from France, play for the Wizards) -It makes more sense for the Mystics to grab a big as early as possible in the draft, unless the Elena Delle Donne situation (which no one is talking about) works out with both sides agreeing for her to play and stay with the Mystics. -As far as bigs go, her skill set is pretty much the only player that compliments Shakira Austin. -Also worth noting that over the last 2 seasons, the Mystics were gouged by injuries to bigs. They'd have lineups where Myeshia Hines Allen played the 4. Sedona Prince -Hate to say it, and I know no one wants to talk about her, but there's no chance Sedona Prince isn't drafted in the first round. Especially somewhere after 5. Unless she somehow just doesn't declare for the draft. -If i had to guess, i'd say she goes 8 to Indiana, 11 to Minnesota, or 12 to Phoenix. Minnesota makes a lot of sense. She's 6'7", rebounds very good. That lets Kayla McBride shoot without consequence. Shyanne Sellers -Although i agree she's very good, There's no way Chicago is the team to realize that lol. Some of their offseason decisions prove that. -Also Chicago has 2 picks in the first round, so if they want Sellers, it would be risky for them to take her at 3 when there's a fair chance she'll be there at 10. -I think Washington at 6 and NY at 7 are the only places where Chicago would be in danger of losing Sellers at 10 -Plus Chicago DESPARETLY needs ANYONE that can shoot 3's. Last in the league in 3's taken and made last year. Te-Hina PaoPao -I think it makes sense for Chicago to take her at 3. Especially if they keep Chennedy Carter. She'd be a great floor spacing shooter to complement Carter if set up right (kinda like Mabrey). Chennedy Carter is kinda wasted if she's not the primary ball handler/scoring engine. -If Tyler Marsh's scheme is anything like Becky Hammon's, he'll be desperately looking for anyone that can shoot 3's and space the floor for that Chicago team. Opens lanes for drivers and Angel's rebounds compliments shooting. -Also worth mentioning that Golden State is fairly ok at big (4 more so than 5. Billings is VERY good), but they basically have no viable scoring guards. Chicago will have to compete with them for shooters. Other players -I think there's a few players you didn't list that have a fair chance to go in the top 10. I think Sivka is top 10 also.
I love this Quita. I think some player should consider staying another year cause. There will be two more teams in 2026 and I’m assuming in the new Cba the roster would expand to 14. If some player feel like they will not get drafted they could go back for another year and work on there game and potentially change there draft position.
At what point does Paige’s injuries factor in to the decision for the #1 pick team to decide against her in favor of a more healthy player? At some point the body isn’t able to heal repeated injuries to full strength…
They don't, really. The amount of money that Paige will bring in will far outweigh any doubts concerning her health status. Paige has way too much of a fan base already existing for the Wings not to take advantage of.
I think Deja Kelly is going first round. She has dealt with the pressures of carrying teams that aren't stacked and has proven to handle the point guard position well.
I love how you actually looked at players that are not in the media spot light. I watched more games with the less known players this year. Your explanations are spot on with these teams. Will you be doing another draft after signing free agents? Interested in your take on the draft after free agents are signed. Thank you!!!🩷🏀
But if the Sky get Vandersloot, that changes everything. I’m curious how this list pans out if that’s the case. The sky don’t need bigs though, so maybe they go for Citron at 3 instead..?
My 12 are close to yours. I have Aziaha James over JJ. I have Sellers at 6, but I can see the argument for 3. She really showcased her defense against USC. I think NY might take a chance on Sivka. Otherwise, any difference I have is within a spot or 2.
PaoPao in Indiana would have to mean letting Wheeler go. They were 11th in the league last year on defense. They need someone to play defense, bang the boards and hit their free throws. They hope Morrow is still on the board at 8.
If there is an extra pick in the 1st round for Dallas to get; in exchange for their 2nd and 3rd round picks this year or a 2nd this year and a 1st next year, then it's a trade straight up for S. Salbley (sp) for another team's 1st round pick this year. Dallas needs to get some good value in return.
With the two new expansion teams choosing in the expansion draft after this season, I would be looking to trade my first round pick if I thought the player wouldn’t help me this year and would be someone I would want to protect. The expansion teams should be looking for young talent still on their rookie contract. Would make sense for the top 4 or 5 teams to draft international players and have them play overseas next season.
You also get someone who is constantly injured and will more than likely have more injuries with the physicality of the WNBA. I think Dallas will surprise everyone and take Olivia Miles. She is having a better season and doesn't have a history of injuries. I hope your wrong with Citron because if they don't trade the pick to get Sabally I want her in Indiana. She would be a great fit and is a former teammate of Caitlin's
Shyanne Sellers would make a great addition to the Sky's roster. Did you overlook Lauren Betts (6'7"), Sedona Prince (6'7"), and Ayoka Lee (6'6")? Chicago would be unstoppable with another big in the post. The Sparks would be foolish not to pick Betts R1P2. I was also hoping for Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron to both get chosen by the Sky at the #3 & #10 spots.
If Chicago can't get the GOAT Miles, then I hope they do something unexpected and draft Georgia Amoore! I said there shouldn't be a second plan for Chicago. Get Miles or bust! That said... Amoore is used to playing with bigs, and we know that is what Chicago needs, someone who can find the bigs!🙄
I totally agree and don't believe Georgia will be phased by the difference in height. She keeps the ball on a string and is cool and collected under pressure. Wherever she ends up, she'll definitely make an impact!
Georgia Amoore is not dropping under the 8th spot. If Satou ends up in NY, the libz will pick her because they need a PG. If Satou doesn't end up in NY then Anessah is the obvious choice.
We could draft that Florida State girl at the 10 spot...I'm not that against picking her at 3..She has to be leading the country in scoring..She can shoot very well.
I wonder if the Fever would choose PaoPao over Barker or Sivka. I’m thinking they might choose a forward, as they need that more than a guard. Clark and Mitchell are arguably the best back court in the W, but they need more and better in the front.
I am just starting my watch of your video but I have one question❓. What if JuJu follows through and comes out early? Does that change your order at all? The only thing I wonder with Bueckers being injury prone does that change anyone's opinion about her draft stock it is not about talent but pro sports is a business so would they trade down or take someone else from their board? Can Page take the riggers of playing a full NCAA season and a WNBA team back to back?
@@GeorgeNienstedt She has talked of challenging the rule in court. Not sure she will follow through or head overseas but she has floated the idea. Of course, she could be trying to drive up her NIL value. But I heard an interview where she talked about coming out early, saying she believes that the NBA age should also be the same for the WNBA. @elmiratchagop3642 that's what a lot of people said when both the NBA and the NFL even had to modify their draft rules because they were sued. I think she may win if she wants to take it to court; plus, from what I read, she is on pace to complete her degree by the end of this semester. I got a feeling if she doesn't do it this year she may try it next. But she could take it to Europe or elsewhere. Europe pays more anyhow. Last I looked, the WNBA is walking away from their union collective bargaining agreement. Who knows, you could be right, and there's not a season to play at all.
@@TNDRIVER thats not really up to her. Until the W has all 16 teams established they wont be changing the draft rules. That 4 year rule will remain for a couple more years

I think if there is a way to trade for Kate Martin and Celeste Taylor, they should try to get those two for bench support. The CC familiarity, the utility, and the defense.
I said Sellers before I even thought of Sellers when they first got the pick she tall can bapl or the 1, and 2 as well as defend.
Thanks as always for your commentary..It has been instrumental in me know which games will be most interesting for me to watch..keep doing what you do
You are spot on with the sky,s number 3 pick , based on best suitable PG"s available.... Shyanne Seller's is the next best right decision...
Thanks for the videos. Keep 'em coming Quita! Looking forward to seeing Momma and Daddy in future videos. 🎉
Sellers to the Sky is 🔥🔥
I like your analysis except for the fever. Fever are getting front court help if not traded. I believe Sivka doesn’t drop past 8
WNBA DRAFT CONTENT WOO
So Hunter, let me know... How bad did I do? I know Sellers at #3 is a bit adventures but it could out to be genius depending on how she continues to develop.
@@QuitaLovesSports Pretty sure he has her going at the end of the 1st round in his latest mock.
@@MargueriteFahey yea I know, a lot of people have her towards the end of the round
Super interested in the draft. Oliva Miles is probably the best player but will not be drafted first.
You might never know; Dallas is probably aware by now that Paige won't be a happy camper as a Wing. I sure hope Miles is more enthusiastic...
Thank you Quita. Could you add short list of players you think just miss out of being 1st round picks?
if the top three played out this way I think it might be 4. Then at 6 they pick up the highly versatile Citron (one of my favorite players).
if flau'jae johnson, a draft-eligible junior, declares for the draft, the los angeles spark will almost certainly draft her with the second pick
Coach Mulkey already basically confirmed this is her last year in one of the previous press conferences this year😅
But it seems Flaujae still playing around with the idea😅 when I watched her podcast it seems like she's still on the fence about it though
😊 But it seems the coach basically prepared for it😂
If she doesn't go to La I honestly wouldn't mind the sky picking her up😅 either way I'm definitely going to watch whatever team picks up Big 4 💛💜🥹🌟✨
Miles is the better choice for L.A.
@@ABxx2011 Unless Dallas picks Miles (if Miles is more enthusiastic than Paige), in which case Paige will fall to LA
Most accurate draft I’ve seen yet.
@ They won’t be locked into anything. That’s one of those false narratives people are spreading around.
@ They won’t be locked into anything. That’s one of those false narratives people are spreading around.
I love your page/content!!!!!!!🫡
Love this and great perspectives, Quita! I'd love to have you, J Boog and some of my friends from the world of women's basketball on my show sometime!
Sorry, you lost me at PaoPao. Ummm…they have Caitlin, Kelsey, and Berger. They need an athletic big.
On Tournament outcome, Haley Van Lith might shoot up the draft board.
Awesome job, Quita! 👍
In order for the sky to get Olivia.. flaujae has to declare.. I think she will come out!
We need pao pao & marrow for the sky
I love you perspective, Quita. I see the Fever and Storm picks being reversed. Fever NEED defensive help more than anything. Especially bigger bodies.
Sellers at 3 is wild lol Citron is the perfect fit for the Sky and she more than likely wont be there at 10, but if Sellers is there at 10 I dont see the Sky passing on her, their GM said they would prefer a guard over 6 feet
This is a more anticipated draft than the 2024 version which is great for the W.
You’ve killed it!!!!❤❤❤❤
Sky needs to do everything possible to get Olivia Miles! I’ll be highly disappointed if Chicago doesn’t get her.
The only way that happens is if flauge declares
@ Or they trade up and offer up a future 1st and this year’s 3rd. She would be worth it. Her game pairs perfectly with the sky team currently constructed
@ActionJackson2523 I don't see any team giving up picks especially LA but it's not far fetched to see sky trade the 3rd pick for a veteran PG or even go after jewel Lloyd
TLDR
------------------------------------------
Dominique Malonga
-She's almost a lock for Washington and it would be very surprising if she decides to not play in America.
-She has come to DC to watch the Wizards play multiple times between last year and this year (Bilal Coulibaly and Alex Sar, players popular from France, play for the Wizards)
-It makes more sense for the Mystics to grab a big as early as possible in the draft, unless the Elena Delle Donne situation (which no one is talking about) works out with both sides agreeing for her to play and stay with the Mystics.
-As far as bigs go, her skill set is pretty much the only player that compliments Shakira Austin.
-Also worth noting that over the last 2 seasons, the Mystics were gouged by injuries to bigs. They'd have lineups where Myeshia Hines Allen played the 4.
Sedona Prince
-Hate to say it, and I know no one wants to talk about her, but there's no chance Sedona Prince isn't drafted in the first round.
Shyanne Sellers
-Although i agree she's very good, There's no way Chicago is the team to realize that lol. Some of their offseason decisions prove that.
-Also Chicago has 2 picks in the first round, so if they want Sellers, it would be risky for them to take her at 3 when there's a fair chance she'll be there at 10.
-I think Washington at 6 and NY at 7 are the only places where Chicago would be in danger of losing Sellers at 10
-Plus Chicago DESPARETLY needs ANYONE that can shoot 3's. Last in the league in 3's taken and made last year.
Te-Hina PaoPao
-I think it makes sense for Chicago to take her at 3.
Other players
-I think there's a few players you didn't list that have a fair chance to go in the top 10. I think Sivka is top 10 also.
Sky is drafting Cintron if Olivia is off the boards
I love this Quita. I think some player should consider staying another year cause. There will be two more teams in 2026 and I’m assuming in the new Cba the roster would expand to 14. If some player feel like they will not get drafted they could go back for another year and work on there game and potentially change there draft position.
I agree with your list overall! I think it’s spot on!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
At what point does Paige’s injuries factor in to the decision for the #1 pick team to decide against her in favor of a more healthy player? At some point the body isn’t able to heal repeated injuries to full strength…
It’s Dallas they don’t care lol
They don't, really. The amount of money that Paige will bring in will far outweigh any doubts concerning her health status. Paige has way too much of a fan base already existing for the Wings not to take advantage of.
@@scooter5966 Someone else who was injury-riddled for half their college career was Chelsea Gray. Would it have been wise to doubt her?
Even if that were true, you would switch 1 and 2.
If mystic and vakkries sees azzi fudd avail they def picking her
Shyanne Sellers could very well drop to Chicago at 10.
Sellers at number 3!!!! Wooooow!!!!!
I think Deja Kelly is going first round. She has dealt with the pressures of carrying teams that aren't stacked and has proven to handle the point guard position well.
Unfortunately she will either go in the 2nd or 3rd round or go undrafted.. she will get invite to camp but won’t make a team
She would've had a better chance if she had stayed at UNC in my opinion.
She is not good enough to make a WNBA roster.
She’s way too inefficient of a shooter, not tall enough or good enough at defense to make up for that unfortunately
@@MackLee23 I definitely agree she is getting overshadowed by all the other big ten 10 teams and other better players
NOOOOOOOOOOO! Need Olivia or Sonia to fall to the Valkyries! Stop cursing the Bay??????
shyanne sellers also has a lot of grit and is talkative on the court. I can see it.
i def agree with 7 and 8 as well
I like the Sellars. Not bad. I still say to high for her she’ll be available later
Sorry I don’t agree with Sellers at 3 we need shooting too. Sonia citron would help us she’s a two way player.
Miles averaging 7.2 assist a game.
I love how you actually looked at players that are not in the media spot light. I watched more games with the less known players this year. Your explanations are spot on with these teams. Will you be doing another draft after signing free agents? Interested in your take on the draft after free agents are signed. Thank you!!!🩷🏀
Yup, I’ll have a 2.0 list
As a Notre Dame fan living near DC i'm sad that Olivia likely won't be drafted by the Mystics but I would love it if we can get Sonia.
Quita Jeff said he wants to build on a wing and draft a 6’1 to 6’3 wing so I got Ajsa Sivka going 10 he said he wants length
I definitely think the sky are gonna take citron at 3 and they are picking a pg with their 10th pick.
Kiki disrespect this season is insane. The recency bias is too much. She is still a #2 pick.
I like both picks for the Sky.
When talking Paige, one of her key attributes for a WNBA team is her marketability. Teams need to keep a focus on profitability while trying to win.
They're not going to win if the pick PB. There's already one Uconn loser on the Wings roster 😅
I really think #1 draft should be up in air until end of college season. I really like Olivia Miles over Beukers
I like your mock 7&8 picks. I think those would be great fits. Especially Nees with KT leaving to join the valkyries.
Olivia is my favorite player, but she definitely has a history of injury. 😢
@sagittated Not near as much as Paige or as many severe
Shyanne Sellers would make a great addition to the Sky's roster. Did you overlook Lauren Betts (6'7"), Sedona Prince (6'7"), and Ayoka Lee (6'6")? Chicago would be unstoppable with another big in the post. The Sparks would be foolish not to pick Betts R1P2. I was also hoping for Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron to both get chosen by the Sky at the #3 & #10 spots.
Sellers to the sky !!
I'll take Cintron at #3 she has superstar potential!!
Your hands are very happy! I am calling you happy hands.
I think Georgia a Moore is a better point guard then sellers but I understand what u mean about size
I totally agree and don't believe Georgia will be phased by the difference in height. She keeps the ball on a string and is cool and collected under pressure. Wherever she ends up, she'll definitely make an impact!
Te-Hina? To the Fever? 😅
FEVER NEEDS BIGS!
Pao Pao will go way before the Fever even get a chance.
Yup, I agree…and The Feeve will be better off for it. They’ll be left with taller and stronger players who are a better fit. 😂
Can't come out this year.

I cant see Flaujae declaring. She’s doing the whole 4 plus her mom (manager) said she wants her to stay in school as long as she can.
