Saul M if you are talking about the Nintendo switch online nes games, then yes. But if you are talking about the vs. super Mario Bros game, then no

I know it's completely out of topic but I have a question. When you do the wrong warp and you get up there but you fall in the gap where the vine is supposed to be, do you die or do you go back underground? I tried doing it myself but I couldn't push Mario right enough to perform it so I'm just curious.

there is another way to push Mario's position but it requires a mushroom or fire flower

Yeah, if you run and crouch underneath a block that is only 1 block off the ground the game pushes you to the right when you stand up

I’m trying to speedrun in about 5 minutes like Kosmic (the fastest I’ve ever done is 9:28), and the second option was the only one that works for me. Turns out, it takes over a minute to perform it (for me) so the time the wrong warp
saves is relatively little.

If by the second option you mean clipping into the wall, then it is so much easier to do the backwards bump methods. If those give you a hard time, just take the vine like normal until you get better at the game, the wrong warp is not needed, just saves around 10 seconds if done right

@@korlkiller I was talking about jumping on the off-screen vine and you land on that middle pipe then you run to the shortcut/warp pipe.

Yes. You can do any glitch on all versions except for the gba version, PAL version, and vs. Super mario bros (allthough for v.s. super mario bros, some glitches will work, but not this 4-2 wrong warp
