I have the same tank and my water level is right where yours is. When the pump is off the water is almost to the top of the tank how. So how do I get my water level with the pump on up to that line

doesn’t a low water level mean higher salinity? such as when sump section goes low and ato kicks in? am i understanding that wrong?
I started the salinity at 20 ppt so by allowing evaporation to take place we are corrected to 35 ppt.

Basically, you put more water in than you feel comfortable with.
