A few considerations from me: It makes completely sense to remove the A7x to me, I've worked in the selling phones field for over 3 years and it was probably the least popular Samsung phone. It just didn't make sense, too much for a mid-ranger not enough for a flagship. Nobody really buys A- and wants to spend that much, it doesn't have the flagship nomina. Average consumers recognise S and Note as good phones from Samsung. Plus the competition was miles ahead in the €400-500 pricing. I don't think keeping the Exynos for the S22 FE makes any sense seen how bad and criticized the S22 E2200 was, hopefully they flop big time, and I also think keeping the Exynos on high mid-range phones it's stupid since the competition will destroy them, I'd much rather have a Dimensity chip, also they are literally sending the message "we no longer use Exynos because it's behind" "but we will keep scamming you if you spend €300-700 for an A54 or S22 FE" it's just dumb as f. And since there's a huge gap now they need to play their cards right and price the S22 FE intelligently, I'd say €549/99 for the base model and €699 for the top model, would be nice to have a €50 euros cheaper S23 too. Unless they wanna lose to Xiaomi in the next 3 years.
It's the only series I love from Samsung. My A30 still does its job perfectly; battery is still very good; still feels new since it's already updated to Android 11; internet speed is fast; and good for many games that are not too graphics intensive. It runs still pretty smooth. One thing I regret was updating it to Android 11 since some of my installed older games I used to play aren't running anymore. I plan to buy A73 if I already want to upgrade.
They still use Exynos for FE? They need to learn from S21 FE that did not even get much attention due to poor battery life and overheating. A74 is the alternative to get snapdragon varian for those countries that get Exynos and now they cancelled it? Screw whosoever make that decision, been waiting and saving for A74, now it's gone.
From what they say out there and on sites like SamMobile, Samsung plans the now S23 FE with Exynos. If it's true and the A74 was possibly going to come with Snap but was scrapped then it was best not to even consider launching this S23 variant oven version. Either way A7x has never made much sense except for those who prefer larger screen, but Exynos doesn't make sense at the moment either - maybe it never will. Not to mention the price.
What I don't like about the Fe series is that they don't have headphone jacks or expandable storage, if they start selling less consumer friendly phones they'll lose a big market on developing economies
Yeah, they really sucks. I personally love the A-series phones since they're great as work phones since they have a microSD card support and the A7* series was even better What bothers me about the FE Series is just the stupid reason behind them. Like if I want a S23 I buy a S23 instead of S23 FE. Well, this year my old S20+ broke and it looks like my new work phone will be a Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro Enterprise Edition. As far as I'm aware, the Enterprise Edition name has something to do with software update support. I read that that phone gets 5 years of update support in my country which is valid from the release date of that phone.
I mean it kind of makes sense for them to drop one of the lines and make a condensed lineup. They had supposedly millions of unsold phones at the end of last year. Perhaps because they launch entirely too many phones each year. I think if they condense their lineup and just keep the FE branding as their A line it makes a lot of sense.
Everything looks good but personally, I like the older camera designs for the a-series. not in terms of camera specs, but as in like how it looks with the rectangle around the cameras.
I’m still loving my N20U the build quality with the stainless steel frame is more superior to the aluminium frame on the S22U Samsung are cheap Asian cost cutters they only sell downgrades 🤫
I wish they still continue to release the s10e series. I think there is still a market for someone who wants compact phone. I really like compact phone with flat edges. That one punch hole for the frontcam also the headphone jack. The features that i all need in a phone, not a heavy user. I really miss that phone.
A 7x sereis have always confused me! They were in gray area between A5x and flagships sporting Ax specs with just larger screens Now they can't make it any pricier because they will come close to the flagships But the worse is what happening now Instead they ditched it and raised the price of A5x The A53 launch price is more than the launch price of A70!!
In my opinion galaxy A series just don't make sense now, unless they pull up something really competitive for mid range segment. Samsung A series starting from A50 have never offered anything as good for the price as the other brands do, such as xiaomi, redmi, poco, realme, oneplus, in almost every aspect. I'm surprised people buy samsung A series to this day when chinese brands offer nearly flagship phones, for the same price.
Xiaomi is killing its handsets, especially during updates. This happens in the Poco segment and others. You can do a search and find out on your own the risks. In addition to other things like system etc.
Good thing I got the A73 5G (Awesome White) and I'm really happy with it. I will not have to feel pressured from getting a successor for 2023. I can wait for A75 for an upgrade.
This is so wrong .. the fe is much more expensive than A7X and there will not be any phone with a 6.7" size .. other than the budget range M5x and up to S2X plus .....
A50 and A70 series are indeed quite redundant. Samsung is trying so hard to make minute differences between the two then ridiculously bump the price for A70.
No, I was looking forward to the a74. As in England there is a big price difference between an addition and the a series and the a74 would likely have expandable storage
This is how Samsung killed their own product. Budget to midrange got increase so much but they even release FE series which is just cut off from the flagship. I think Samsung just don't know how to improve spec from A73 cause A73 itself is great. You got best midrange chipset Snapdragon 778G, 4K30 video capability for back and front, IP67, 25W charging, stereo speaker, etc. For midrange I think this is the right position.
im glad they did it it was expensive and the a5x series was literally 99% of it for cheaper.. just buy last years s device for the same price of a new a7x series.. at least where i live an a7x would be around 600usd which is the price of a previous gen S device
A5x and A7x are premium mid-range segment. What Samsung should do is decrease the amount of this bunch of cellphone and repeat the way it was around 2016, 2018 (A3, A5, A7 and next year A8, A9 and so on). It gave the impression of being more organized I think.
I think for the average American user the A series gets way too close to the S series, and in particular, the a7X series too close to the Ultra simply in terms of the screen size. While the average American user may get expensive top of the line phones, such as the S22 Ultra, they do so more for screen size and content consumption than for anything else. Content consumption, for me, on the a71 and the s21 Ultra was very similar. I believe very few average American consumers get higher end Ultra or Pro phones for things they can do exclusively with that amount of power. I think Samsung wants to save the larger screen size for the Ultra and the ZFold as well as their new Tab Ultra, all of which boast their largest screen size and are their most expensive devices. The Fan Editions are priced right for the feature and spec bump they get while targeting a more budget focused audience and the screen size is never as small as the base S model or as large as the top S model, which falls in line with my screen size theory. What I would love for is Samsung to develop a line of midrange or Flagship quality that explores old and new features. At the top of my list are expandable storage, headphone jack, dual Physical and/or Dual eSim, and IR Blaster.(I mean who doesn't want a universal remote on them at all times?)
One thing that i really angry about was the a73 missing in the dutch market. And the sheer lack of understanding that the users want much larger batteries in samsung phones
I wish they release FE version with a same look and Screen size at Under 500 dollars and maybe use older Flagship processor like the same as S21 since it's already Powerful and Too fast to notice compare to nowadays flagship.
The problem with using old flagship chips is that those chips still cost the same to manufacture 😂 so it would be pointless to use them and that’s why nobody in the industry does that lol it’s always cheaper to manufacture the midrange chips in favour of last generations flagship chip
i will never miss a phone whos priced is expensive and unreasonable. The last iconic galaxy A series was very good during in 2019 but in 2020, 2021 and 2022 are very bad and full of marketing strategy.
#Samsung will keep losing if they will not bring the SD card expansion. Give the consumer the freedom to expand their memory card and don’t force them in fixed size.
Assuming Samsung increased the screen size of the A54 to 6.6 inches, it would have cushioned the blow of removing the A70 series entirely. What trick does Samsung have in their sleeve? 🤔
I haven't followed the A series since I bought my A11 two years ago. I'm looking for an upgrade, considering that it struggles even running Twitter or TikTok.
Funny how a few weeks ago I was saying to myself, "Samsung will probably canc the A7X series because most people have an A5X phone." I guess I was right
I don't care about the Samsung Galaxy A74. I want Samsung to focus on the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE. because now I'm a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE user from February 27, 2022
The company will not launch any A74 let alone S22 FE. Possibly S23 FE Exynos, there are some certifications of this phone leaking. Sorry but you will have to wait again and depending on the will of Samsung.
Imo main issue with fe series it comes out almost 1 year later after s22 series and with s23 series being announced soon fe series are sleepers cause most people already have s22 device or they'll wait for s23 to be released if samsung is going to release fe device they need to do it 90 days after s series release not year later or just drop it altogether...
Launching the FE series a year later, makes it possible for Samsung to price it competitively... As the components can then be procured at a lesser amount, i guess that is the whole n sole reason behind releasing the FE Lineup ...
I think the s22 FE (maybe s23 FE) will come with the latest chipset since they said they'll no longer cut corners plus if it doesn't come with the 8 gen 2 or 8+ gem 2, you'd rather buy a pixel
I don’t like that my flagship phone looks like a cheaper model. However, it’s good to allow persons who can’t afford the other flagships to feel as if they own one.
That's silly. There are people who can afford these phones but just don't want to, either because they don't think it's reasonable to charge absurd prices on it or because they have a usage profile that a mid-range phone already supplies. Don't get me wrong, some people buy not to flaunt but to meet their needs.
I'm still conflicted with this tbh. I thought the FE would be a line in which Samsung would give back to those who are loyal to the brand, rather than trying to gather interest from customers outside the brand. It would sound like a weird business strategy if thats the case since people would buy the flagship anyway? Weird naming strategy too since I don't think that's the case right now since its going to be catered to people who don't want to spend that cash. Maybe the FE line was supposed to be fans who just want the essentials but not spending over $1000? Idk its just funny to me.
I think samsung should completely scrap a series names.. The better name galaxy A23(as of year 23 and to match flagship) and later add plus/pro/ultra for higher varient and lite for lower varient kind of like they do in flagship series. Also they need to refine budget lineup as the have f series and m series too with slight tweaks between every model and nearly same price point which leaves consumer confused.. but hey this is just me may be samsung sees what i cannot
I really liked the sound of the Galaxy S20 FE. If I was on a really tight budget I'd look at buying a new one. It is 3 years' old though. I'll see how good and expensive the S23 and S23+ are, and then consider if I want to wait to see what the S23 FE is like, or a what the A54 is like. The S23 FE may not launch to about Sept if they launch it about the same time as the S20 FE.
S22 Fe is coming soon with exynos 2300 yes that's right and Samsung Galaxy tab s8 Fe with exynos 2300 it was confirmed by SamMobile and exynos isn't done but the s23 lineup will come with sd8gen2 worldwide

But I love the A7X series because of having a larger 6.7" screen display huhuhu...
Merry Christmas in advance Sal and to each and everyone of you guys!
Merry Christmas :)
If I didn't drop my phone and damage the screen my A30s would still be my main phone. Now I use it as a secondary phone.
I'm still using A30s right now
No one's buying A54 after this A53 5G it was a complete piece of scrap
Oh no! I've only just read the title. I'm worried about what is heartbreaking
They need to absolutely get rid of the FE series of devices.
Yeah, they really sucks.
I personally love the A-series phones since they're great as work phones since they have a microSD card support and the A7* series was even better
What bothers me about the FE Series is just the stupid reason behind them.
Also I love the big screen and better camera on a7x, a shame they will discontinue it...
i think there is no reason to buy a7x series since sometimes the price are similar to fe series and maybe base s series
@@arasy1256 I never bought an S series as they do not have a memory card.
And don't sell the A74 in North America.
Another big day for awesome news 😊
Everything looks good but personally, I like the older camera designs for the a-series. not in terms of camera specs, but as in like how it looks with the rectangle around the cameras.
My all time favourite samsung phones have been the note 5, the a71 & the s20+. It makes me sad to see the cancellation of the A7x series.
I’m still loving my N20U the build quality with the stainless steel frame is more superior to the aluminium frame on the S22U
Samsung are cheap Asian cost cutters they only sell downgrades 🤫
@@oo0024 note 20 ultra aluminum,not stainless steel
I wish they still continue to release the s10e series. I think there is still a market for someone who wants compact phone. I really like compact phone with flat edges. That one punch hole for the frontcam also the headphone jack. The features that i all need in a phone, not a heavy user. I really miss that phone.
I was waiting for the A74! The A53 and A73 were a disappointment, thank God I went for the Xiaomi 12T
why you think its a disapointment
@@jokast8861 the a 73 is a good value but the price are too similar to the flagship ones
@@arasy1256 is s21fe the better buy
@@jokast8861 yeah
Will the Samsung S23fe still have a sd card slot? Like the W74?
A 7x sereis have always confused me! They were in gray area between A5x and flagships sporting Ax specs with just larger screens
Now they can't make it any pricier because they will come close to the flagships
But the worse is what happening now
Instead they ditched it and raised the price of A5x
The A53 launch price is more than the launch price of A70!!
At least they didn't die out in the first generation like A9X and A8X.😒
the A72 and A73 was overpriced compared to other phones in the price range so im not surprised
Merry Christmas Eve everyone have a wonderful new year 🍾 everyone you make the best videos tbh
Happy holidays!
Merry Christmas TechTalkTV.
Rubbish...A Stupid Move...The A71~A72~And A73 We're Successful...I'm Planning To Purchase The SAMSUNG GALAXY A73...
This makes sense tho. The only thing really separating them was size and very minor things. It would probably be better for the A5X lineup.
I really like my samsung A90 5G 2019. It still kicking to these day.
Good thing I got the A73 5G (Awesome White) and I'm really happy with it. I will not have to feel pressured from getting a successor for 2023. I can wait for A75 for an upgrade.
Me too
Have you watched the video? They're not making any new A7x phones. That means we won't get an A75
@@nevaskomaeda3051 Oh no!☹️☹️ Then it means I will have to get the Ultra moving forward.
@SilverMoonCrystalPower man that's sad I have an a71 rn imma go to the s series soon
Totally makes sense to me. A5x literally shares most stuff with A7x, except Screen.
Thank u for making this video,, I hope more sales to come from Samsung
Merry Christmas techtalk tv
No, I was looking forward to the a74. As in England there is a big price difference between an addition and the a series and the a74 would likely have expandable storage
I think they need to go with 8+gen 1 or Dimensity 9000+
This is how Samsung killed their own product. Budget to midrange got increase so much but they even release FE series which is just cut off from the flagship.
I think Samsung just don't know how to improve spec from A73 cause A73 itself is great. You got best midrange chipset Snapdragon 778G, 4K30 video capability for back and front, IP67, 25W charging, stereo speaker, etc. For midrange I think this is the right position.
The best information channel in technology worldwide
Thank you :)
im glad they did it it was expensive and the a5x series was literally 99% of it for cheaper.. just buy last years s device for the same price of a new a7x series.. at least where i live an a7x would be around 600usd which is the price of a previous gen S device
Will it come with a headphone jack and sd card slot?
I mean they should only keep 4 lineups low budget mid budget , premium, flagship
So that they can optimise oneui more
A5x and A7x are premium mid-range segment.
I didnt know the s21fe existed...
ended up buying a73, thx samsung for not advertising : )
One thing that i really angry about was the a73 missing in the dutch market. And the sheer lack of understanding that the users want much larger batteries in samsung phones
If they're gonna cancel the a7x series they should release the fe series early then
In my country the price of A73 and FE are not similarly priced. I recently purchased A73.
Not only A50s is popular but also with the new S2X FE that came in. However I do see price differences between A7X and S2X FE.
As much as I love samsung I can't deny the fact that almost all their phones are too effing overpriced...
Then they dont have a single midranger 6.7inch while competition is full of choices for 6.7
Dear Sir, Thank you. But,please confirm one thing.I think it doesn't come with S Pen ( stylus). But can we use stylus pen on that ?
Sal all love from Palestine 🇵🇸 ❤️ 💕
Thanks for tuning in :)
not surprsed given that they raised the a50 series prices a lot but kinda sad at the same time :(
#Samsung will keep losing if they will not bring the SD card expansion. Give the consumer the freedom to expand their memory card and don’t force them in fixed size.
Assuming Samsung increased the screen size of the A54 to 6.6 inches, it would have cushioned the blow of removing the A70 series entirely.
What trick does Samsung have in their sleeve? 🤔
That's sad because the A7 series is a great choice of phones.
That i was telling cancel the A7* series.... Finally they listened....🙏
I haven't followed the A series since I bought my A11 two years ago. I'm looking for an upgrade, considering that it struggles even running Twitter or TikTok.
Just scrap the FE, and implement all that tech in the A74.
Funny how a few weeks ago I was saying to myself, "Samsung will probably canc the A7X series because most people have an A5X phone." I guess I was right
I thought they cancelled the Ax series? like stopped forever? they're back now?
A5-something is the "highest level" of A series and then A5-x-s and S-x-FE soon connecting the gap between A and S series
I'm still THE 👑 - A52s 5g
I was looking foward to buy this phone as soon as it came out damnnn.
I swear I see every Video just to hear "what's up guys
Thanks! I appreciare that :)
It would be great if they released a73 everywhere. In my country there is only a53 avaliable. Wonder why the sells of a73 weren't as good... Hypocrisy
Tbh. The a70 series never made sense when they’re FE phones available and slightly old flagships
Merry Christmas sal
Happy holidays!
I was looking forward for the launching of this phone
Imo main issue with fe series it comes out almost 1 year later after s22 series and with s23 series being announced soon fe series are sleepers cause most people already have s22 device or they'll wait for s23 to be released if samsung is going to release fe device they need to do it 90 days after s series release not year later or just drop it altogether...
Launching the FE series a year later, makes it possible for Samsung to price it competitively... As the components can then be procured at a lesser amount, i guess that is the whole n sole reason behind releasing the FE Lineup ...
I hope Samsung will not cancel A50 in there A series and Putting FE instead. And why samsung is using Exynos why not snapdragon.
Samsung should decrease the prices of Galaxy A Series about 20% if they want to compete Xiaomi.
You're right. The FE series are for Samsung's loyal customers who want the features of the S series, but without the expensive price tag.
Was planning on buying my dad this new model for his bitlrthday. 😶
Note series have turned into S series.
S series have turned to A series.
S23 fe will come by early 2024 if the S21 and this S22 fe are any indication
@@avnertouitou3778 it's just a leak, no confirmation lmao.
