    Battery power of most oral b toothbrushes are very disappointing.
    Although I sm aware they are now switching to Lithium-ion , but I feel they could have started using the Lithium batteries ages ago.

    in some sites the seller says this model has a pressure sensor that slows down the brushing, is it true?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, this is true. There is a pressure sensor and when activated, the speed of the brush is reduced until the pressure is relieved.

    In my additional routines i have tongue cleaning. However, after I finish my daily clean for teeth and start brushing my tongue the app records it as teeth brushing how can i fix this?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  2 года назад

      I don't think there is a fix for this. I don't have this brush to hand right now to check, but I think the tongue cleaning routine relies on answering yes/no as if you have completed or not and isn't looking for data from the brush.

      Almost all Oral-B brush heads are the same size. There is a kids head that is marginally smaller, but the 'junior' toothbrushes usually come with a head for adults. This video explains more about the brush heads: ruclips.net/video/DlDxmmfpd30/видео.html

    Tried to understand your written review. You mention lacking box contents 11 times in the article but what does that mean?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  5 лет назад +4

      Apologies Alexandra if it is not clear what I meant.
      By lacking box contents, I mean you do not get much in the box when you buy the brush. There are other brushes that come with more in the box (accessories), such as extra brush heads, travel cases, places to store brush heads etc.
      I would have preferred it if Oral-B gave you more for the money you pay.
      I hope that clears things up! 😀

      Yes it is. With the exception of the Ultimate Clean and Gentle Care heads that are designed for the Oral-B iO Series.
      The Sensi UltraThin is the brush head you want. It has the softest bristles.

    I will buy Oral-B Pro 2500 or Oral-B Smart 4000.
    Which one is better ?
    Which one should I buy ?
    I don't know much about these brushes.
    A lot of sites says 2500 is better but I am seeing this one has more features.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  3 года назад

      Technically the Smart 4 4000 is better.
      However, the cleaning performance from them is the same.
      The Smart 4 4000 has extra cleaning modes and Bluetooth connectivity. The vast majority don't need or want these.
      We would recommend the Pro 2 2500 because it is normally cheaper/better value. It has the features you need rather than things you don't necessarily need like Bluetooth.

    • @ElectricTeeth

      Very minimal differences. You don't have to change. The sensitive mode is the most useful of the other modes because it is slower/more gentle, but not essential. Most stick with the standard Daily Clean mode. We do explain more in the following video: ruclips.net/video/rxNs8Jk5YzE/видео.html

      Ok, yes, so this model has the brush head storage compartment for up to 4 brush heads.
      This compartment measures in at: 13.5cm wide x 9cm deep x 3.5cm tall
      This measurement does exclude the height of the toothbrush stood on top of the charging stand.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  4 года назад

      I would pick the best value option. Prices vary from one store to another. If you don't need the extra brush head storage then probably best to go for the 4000N unless the 4400N is cheaper.
      They are technically the same as far as I am aware, it is just the box contents that differs.

      @@ElectricTeeth thank you for you answers. I'd just like to ask one more thing, I'm kind of confused about this model, because the one you're reviewing is Oral B Smart 4 4000n, but the model available in my country is Oral B Smart 4 4000, without the n. So do you know what would be the difference between those brushes because I can't find any information on that?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  4 года назад +1

      Hi.
      The N after the 4000 is referring to the brush head supplied. Usually N means CrossAction brush head.
      Sometimes the CrossAction is supplied, but the N is not quoted on the product name.
      It is all very confusing to be honest. The underlying brush in terms of its features and performance is likely the same.

      @ElectricTeeth  4 года назад

      Hi Umut.
      I will happily list out the key differences, but there are quite a few that exist, so this could be quite a long reply.
      The Oral-B Smart 4 4000 is a model generally sold within Europe, whilst the Genius Pro 8000 is a model sold primarily in the USA and Canada. You don't normally see the 2 models sold within the same region.
      Each does have an equivalent, for example, the Genius 9000 is essentially the European version of the Genius Pro 8000.
      In which country do you live for me to be able to give you a bit more specific feedback?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  4 года назад +5

      OK. So, I will compare the Smart 4 4000 with Genius 9000 as its basically the same as the Genius Pro 8000.
      I am working on some assumptions as I am not familiar with the Turkish variants, but I will assume the box contents and specs you are seeing are the same as UK.
      The design of the brush handles are different.
      The Genius 9000 has 3 extra cleaning modes. Smart 4 has Daily Clean, Sensitive & Whitening. Genius 9000 has these plus, Gum Care, Pro Clean and Tongue clean mode.
      The Genius 9000 has a separate cleaning mode button and icons for the different modes.
      The Genius 9000 has a Smart Ring that doubles as a pressure sensor.
      The Genius 9000 has position detection technology.
      The Genius 9000 comes with a suction cup smartphone holder.
      The Smart 4 4000 comes with a brush head stand to hold 2 brush heads compared to the storage compartment with the 9000 that holds 4.
      The Genius 9000 comes with a premium travel case that holds the brush handle and 2 brush heads. The case also allows the brush to be charged in the case. The Smart 4 4000 comes with no travel case.
      The Smart 4 400 comes in a White/White colour configuration compared to the Silver. White, Rose Gold, Orchid Purple and Black colour combinations of the 9000.
      The Genius 9000 comes with 4 brush heads in the box compared to the 2 with the Smart 4. (2 x CrossAction, 1 x 3D White & 1 x Sensi UltraThin v 2 x CrossAction (Or 1 x 3D White & 1 x CrossAction).
      The Smart 4 4000 is the cheaper of the two.
