The Sennheiser's sounded louder but more distorted. However the Sony's sounded quieter but more muffled.

I'm loving the HD450BT after I equalized it to my preferences. The sound is detailed, smooth and non-fatiguing (as usual for Sennheisers).
As for wired headphones, I stick with my HD6XXs or the AKG K702s (which require a proper AMP+DAC combo).
how did you do that? because i cant use the app, it says it does not support this product, and i cannot see through bluetooth
Can you do a comparison with the 450 to Sony H.ear on 3 (aka WH-H910N) since they are more in the similar class/price range

The pxc550-II is still 25% more expensive than the 450s, so at least on paper they should be better?

1. Do you hear your own voice inside headphones, with or without ANC?
2. Do you need to have Bluetooth 5 support in your PC or mobile?
3. Can you use the headphone while charging, for instance, connected to the PC USB port?
4. If you connect the aux audio cable to your PC or mobile, how is the sound quality on listening and talking?
5. Do you recommend these headphones for conference call, connected to PC or mobile?

Have you ruled out hiss being due to compression over Bluetooth (codex) processing? If you plug in xm3 via 3.5 you could test this.
For 100euro those are a fukin beast, all I wondered was would they be comfortable and they fit over-ear just fine (for my ears that is). Very happy with those headphones

wow, this was so good review... but still, I do not know which of them sounds better - I had no opportunity to compare the same songs, unfortunately, but Sony feels so much comfortable that I am willing to pay the price difference

Hi Aaron, I loved your honest review 👍 I’ve subscribed you. I’m not so impressed with 450BT, even though It’s priced approx 90 USD in India. Even though it is value for money. It’s a bummer that u cannot twist the earphones 90 degree flat. And also the sound signature output is not so impressive as per Sennheiser standards, Would you still recommend me to buy these for the sound quality at under 100$ price point. I’m not a bass fan. Aaron since its release there have been many users reporting about the cracking issue in wh1000xm3 in the headband and the hinge what do you think about that?

The Sennheiser feels more on-ear than over-the-ear.
I was worried about that. Once they came I was relieved, as I must have a small head 😂 fits me perfectly over the ears.

You really thought your voice Sounders clearer on the Sennheiser? Your voice was louder but the sound was marred by a lot of distortion. Please have a hearing test. I am shocked.
