You can get significantly better sounding and well rounded BT headphones for 1/2 price in M50xBt if you don’t care about the differentiating features between it and xm3. P550 2 sounded exactly the same as the original 550 1 in bestbuy....exactly the same including the same low volume output compared to even the Bose 700 forget xm3. Not worth the $$$. I am not even a huge fan of the xm3 sound signature out the box, but once you play around that robust EQ you will notice it flexibility and sound quality
I've had 3 sets of WH-1000XM3's, I really like them but the first pair had a hiss in the right ear, the second and third pair developed the scratching sound in the right ear with ANC on. All 3 had an audible hiss with ANC on. I'd love to get a working pair but it seems impossible. I'm now looking to try thesePXC 550 II's instead.

I'm just deciding between Sony XM4 (XM3 are out of stock) and Sennheiser PXC 550 II..so I ordered both to try...its hard one to decide. Sennheiser pros: more comfortable, better touch controls. Cons: not loud enough, not the best sound. Sony pros: sound is perfect, NC is slightly better, you can adjust sound as much as you want (app). Cons: not as comfortable, price, touch controls not so accurate. I dont care which cable they use for charging or about microphone, because I use them at work because of loud environment. For me I think there’s plenty of bass in my 550 II. I tried the Sony and it just pumps in a lot of artificial sounds compare to Senn. I don’t like fake sound anymore.
On nearly all tech reviews people complain about micro USB as if it is a big deal. I haven't been able to figure out why it matters. Changing an existing product to USB C would make the device or headphones cost more. Is there a good reason for such dismay over a socket?
I've had the Sennheiser 4.50 BTNC and the PCX 550-ii and they both developed a hissing sound and cutting out in one ear after about a year, so I definitely won't be buying Sennheiser crap again. They simply don't last.

Hey Aaron! Great video man! One thing I'm noticing in most reviews is that none of them test the headphones on laptops/computers. The micro-USB port allows the headphones to be simultaneously charged and listened through. This means ANC while wired, without worry about the battery. None of the other flagships manage to do this.
@E. O. I agree that the update was underwhelming. The quality control on all the PXCs (I & II) have been pretty poor too, which is a real shame because they are extremely comfortable (nearing QC35II) with great audio.

Yes
Hey Aaron. Good video as usual. I just picked up the Sony 800’s. A little upset because I just payed for the 700’s not even a month ago. I thought that the 800 are a lot better than the 700’s. What do you think? I also think the NC is kinda weak. What do you think?
I hope to try the SP800n as soon as my country has it
For this video , I pick the Sony .. why ? Bass , and the app is more customizable ..
Jabra elite 85h or Sennheiser pxc 550 2 ??
Which is better in sound quality between 550 and 550 ii?
None. The latter isn’t even much of an upgrade over the former to begin with.
I like the Cyberpunk-like atmosphere. haha
Wonder why these haven’t had more exposure, wonder how compare to the Bos 700 NC I use, they may actually be better
Probably due to lack of USB-C
@@MichaelM28 crazy, over a port, apart from maybe quick charge on headphones, the draw on headphones is quite low dosent need UCB C. Convenience well I carry two converter plugs, a micro to C and a C to Micro investment 6 bucks
Pxc 550 on Samsung phones?? Any words wud b helpfull as Samsung doesn't supports aptx codecs..where sonys has upper hands on flac which is supported by Samsung.. Want to know more about audio quality of xm3 n pxc on Samsung phones
My Samsung certainly supports aptx
I could not believe they used micro USB the p550 2 🤣 for something meant for 2019-20
The micro-USB port allows the headphones to be simultaneously charged and listened through.
Cardboard Box come on, no one will be having them hooked up to a wall or charger (and with those tiny wire?) and have them on their head at the same time listening to them lol they are “wireless” headphones after all. These new headphones now only need about 10 mins of change from zero while brush your teeth to give you 5+ hrs of listening easy with ANC and at max volume ie XM3/XM4
@@AM-ms9mn You can connect them to your PC for latency-free use (gaming, movies, etc). Why wait 10 minutes, when you can charge and use it at the same time?
Gonna buy the sennheiser recently, dislike the tone of Sony 😂
I got my headphones 🎧 for £150, their okay but I don’t think they are worth £299 though 🤔 shop around people.
How much? $

Do these connect to pc??
nice shirt! thats where i live!
These came out 3 years after their original version, so they’re an absolute disappointment by that fact alone.
I do think the Sonys are better than the Senns
Pxc550 II for 160euro vs Sony for 220euro
Micro USB = No buy
imagine buying a headphone for its port..
Tried them both and Sony’s are better. Plus Sony’s are lighter. Sony always seem to edge out the competition.🤷🏽♂️
Sennheiser 227g Sony 255g
Sennheiser not LDAC and not USB-C = Discarded
E. O. I never have problem with L-DAC
@E. O. I use with Fiio M11 Pro and Galaxy Note 10 +. Never problem. It may be a problem of the particular unit
Xm3s sound like shit. God only knows how one can say they're the best
