If you look at the number of dislikes, you’ll see how many haters there really are. It’s sad that no matter how good BTS is, they don’t give up on their hatred. However, BTS acknowledges them and continues to put out positive tracks. BTS’ messaging is clear. Haters gonna hate, but we should all strive to love ourselves.
Most haters hate them because they're jealous.. and/or they're Asian.... and/or the haters are just plain dumb with no taste in life.. .
Each MV has a dance practice with even more choreography. They are terrific! The guy coming out of the ambulance is RM. There are 3 rappers, 4 vocalists, tho everybody can do it all.
BTS said they got their inspiration from this song after hearing Barack Obama’s speech ‘mic drop’

BTS is made up of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists!!
Rappers:
RM is the main rapper, leader, producer, composer! He has the deepest voice among the rappers! He is credited for the most songs out of the members and he writes most if not all of the majority of BTS tracks!
Suga/yoongi is the lead rapper, producer and composer! His solo stage name is AgustD! (He and RM were underground rappers in the hip hop scene before BTS!)
Jhope is the main dancer, dance leader, lead rapper, sub vocalist! He harmonises with BTS in a lot of songs, and has a very unique sound when rapping! He used to be a famous street dancer before BTS!
(All of the rappers have solo mixtapes which are abouslutely amazing incase you want to check that out!)
Vocalists:
Jin is the oldest members of BTS (28), he is lead vocalist, and also a composer, and dancer! He learnt to sing and dance from scratch as he had no background in this prior to BTS! He has the most powerful vocals in the group, and has been praised by many for his silver voice!
Jimin, main dancer, lead vocalist, composer! He used to be a contemporary dancer, and was very skilled, he uses his contemporary dance skills as a sort of trademark move! He also has many experiences with martial arts!
V he is the lead vocalist, dancer, composer, and I believe he has produced a song as well! He has the lowest vocal range out of the vocalists! He can hit falsettos and high notes but tends to stick to his baritone voice!
Jungkook, the maknae (youngest) lead dancer, main vocalist, sub rapper, composer, producer! In older BTS hip hop tracks he used to rap, but as BTS progressed he became more surrounded by singing! He was 15 when he debut with BTS!
BTS:
Used to be a hip hop idol group, but soon progressed into different styles/genres! Army (their fan base) don’t often refer to them as idols but rather call them Artists! Hip hop really played a large role in BTS’s sound and themselves! They have many rap songs and many pop songs, ballads, r & b, I think a couple rock songs, edm and more! More than half the group were trainees for three years, with jimin training for the least amount of time! The group then debut in 2013, so this is coming up to their 8th year as a kpop group, but for some of the members it’s coming up for their 11th year of knowing each other!
BTS has deep meanings in their songs, some being psychological, some are about socio economic injustices, some are about self love etc! They also have their own storyline connecting books called ‘the notes’, music videos, a webtoon, and a game all to create a BTS storyline (or the BU, as we all call it!)
They have their own shows and there’s always content! If you dig deeper into BTS you’ll get to see all of this!!
BTS hip hop tracks:
Spine breaker, No more dream, we are bulletproof pt.2, jump, cyphers 1-4, Ddaeng, UGH!, boy in luv, joke by RM, AgustD and daechwita by AgustD, baseline by jhope, attack on bangtan, danger, not today, N.O, Baepsae, paldogangsan(satoori rap), if I ruled the world+ so many more! (Tbh a lot, if not the majority, of all older BTS songs are hip hop based!)

Yes I agree yoongi is known as Korean Eminem (lmao) but the title should also be given to namjoon considering he can rap faster than yoongi! So I also suggest joke by namjoon because this is the song that dibs him BTS’s fastest rapper.

Oh y'all are in for a ride! I just started getting into BTS last year in the middle of the pandemic, and I've never been the same. I dove into their discography and was pleasantly surprised and amazed with what I found! They do rap, hip hop, EDMs and dance tracks, R&B, jazz, pop, emo pop/rock, they even do freaking ballads, they have diss tracks! Even to this day, I still discover "new" songs from them and I'm always just shocked because it sounds so good. Choreography on point, lyrics are also incredible. They are versatile and their artistry is out of this world. I hope you continue to dive into their music, and try to fully understand them and what they have to offer. You should watch mic drop live performance
You need to know the background. Mic Drop, lyrics, had a relationship with many haters. The rappers underground were the first haters who insulted Suga and RM on radio at the beginning of their career. then of course, Fans of the other kpop groups, Add, The 3 bigger companies at that time that prefered their kpop groups. etc, etc. So, This song responded to those haters at that time. Another funny details about Mic Drop MV, was that RM, broke the door of the ambulance during the set. It was funny, because RM always breaks a lot of things that he touches. He is called "The god of the destruction" haha. BTS, got the hot 1 billboards during 8 weeks yesterday with "Butter". Only last week was hot 1 billboards with "BTS Permission to dance" during a week, and again BTS Butter on 1st place. And yesteday, Mic drop, got 1 billion views, too. And Aoki gave congrats to BTS and ARMY by his channel. About the " haters gonna hate part" . Before BTS became BTS there was a lot of people who didn't believe in them, like it all. There's also a community called " anti-army's" or so, where they hate on BTS.
BTS has given up so much and they're fighting so hard. if anyone deserves love and game, it's them.

And this video was released back in 2017 and still such a banger! You gotta check out their older works. AH-MAZING! Your friend might want to check out the Raplines works with Ddaeng, UGH, Cyphers pt 1-4. Some solo works of the rapline RM's Mono, Joke; SUGA Shadow, his solo works under the name Agust D (The Last, What Do You Think), Jhope's Chicken Noodle Soup. The vocal line has amazing solo songs as well! And they have tons of great collaboration with other artists as well! Its all alot to go through and BTS never disappoints! They have such a huge and varied discography, definitely something for everyone.

Even though it opens up with Japanese-American DJ Steve Aoki, the song itself is owned by BigHit(HYBE) / BTS and it was written by BTS Leader “RM” (comes out of ambulance) which was said to be inspired by Obama speeches. After listening to the track and loved it so much that Steve collabed with BTS to make a remix version of their original song “Mic Drop” (which is in Korean) and got featured in their music video. He does get credit for the remix on top of being in the MV, there’s also another remix with Desiigner voice played in the background in the intro of the video. FUN FACTS: Almost everything used is REAL except maybe the floating mics and Fire after literally blowing up a car behind them #BTS #MicDrop #StopAsianHATE
Just to let you know they are not saying the western used “N” word it only sounds like it, the “Naega” word in their language means “I” or “you” in Korean. Everyone who doesn’t understand abit about the language & meanings especially when they hear the “Naega” word; which is very commonly used allot in the asian culture and music. It’s not the same as the “N” word, which allot of americans got too comfortable hearing or saying then assuming automatically when they hear it from a foreigner that’s what they mean, but in this case it has nothing to do with african americans at all. *In some foreign languages/cultures, many common western words will sound similar but have different meanings*
The thing with people new to BTS, they think they've got them figured out after a couple of songs. In truth, long term ARMY knows if someone asked you for a single-word to identify BTS its 'transcend'; as RM says ' we want to transcend, even ourselves' - they have been changing up their sound from the very beginning, and they will continue to do so. Its why ARMY says the genre is BTS, they cannot be contained! Keep up the great reactions.

He is RIGHT. As an EDM Stan, I know about DJ Aoki for YEARS. And RM(the leader and came out of the ambulance) and Suga are the rappers of the group. Suga is Agust D(as a solo rapper. Was underground) and wrote a lot of his songs. RM is the same. They both have their rap careers before BTS. I say 'have' because each member still carrying on their solo careers and writing and composing songs for themselves and the group! Haters are hella sick because BTS is all hella multitalented.

They do all kind of genres not just pop and rap, also do hiphop/retro pop/R&B/soft melodies etc; BTS started out with hiphop and rap even before they became a group - some of the members RM & SUGA were legit underground rappers, JHOPE hiphop underground street dancer, JIMIN studied both hiphop & modern contemporary dance in school, V has some vocal & saxophone lessons for three years, JUNGKOOK was jack of all trade prodigy (pretty much do everything he put his mind to), and lastly oldest JIN university student with acting but no musical background but Bighit saw that he has the potential of gaining a music background; now look at him 😎.
I'm still new ARMY, so I remember what it was like. I thought, I'm never going to be able to learn all they're names. Jimin and RM were the first 2 I learned too. The "Who is BTS?" vids help.
