Curious what you’ll think… learn more about his golden vocals that you rewound to hear him sing twice lol especially his solo part in “on” that or the “why jungkook is your bias” by Ida s… he doesn’t have to be your bias to watch it …. But good video since you liked his voice and you liked “your eyes tell,” which he wrote and composed so I think you’ll like them

He didnt. He lived in New Zeland and went to school there but FRIENDS definitely helped him with his studying since it immerses him in it. People keep blowing that out of porportion.
@@ot7stan207 I agree. It’s probably monolinguals blowing this up. Where shows or games or whatever helps with exposure, you really need to sit down and study. Conversational English you can learn, but he has skill in writing and reading. Stuff like that you won’t learn from “Friends”
@@maggiepp7997 Agreed. After the recent Friends reunion, I hope that RM is never asked about Friends again lol. RM did pitch the story of learning Eng via Friends for awhile, and it has done the job of adding intrigue when doing quick interviews that are intended to cater to American/Eng speaking audiences and serving to make BTS appear more relatable (yeh, bridging gaps for exposure sure can be tricky). But there is so much more to them that interviewers haven't even come close to tapping yet. It's impressive, however, to see that they've all learned English so quickly...I'm still trying to find time to study Korean, and my schedule is nothing like theirs lol!
@@ot7stan207 he only spent six months in New Zealand, attending ESL classes. That really just gave him more practice on the basis he already had, and probably extended his experience in the written language.
@@ot7stan207 he also fluent in japanese. The members have said, he is the type of people that easily to learn another language. This is maybe due to him being actual genius.

James Corden's Carpool Karaoke was my first intro to BTS. I remember hearing "Dynamite" for a colorful Samsung phone ad on tv and thought it was catchy and fun, that it was pretty lit for an advert lol. But it was their interaction on Carpool Karaoke that got me interested in learning more about them. First thoughts: they're all good looking and have a super fun vibe. But my eyes were immediately drawn to J Hope's bubbly energy... he has a lightness about him, the core keeping that fun tempo going:) Then, JK gave me whiplash with his killer vocals... and Jimin with his otherworldly vocals (and he didn't just wear that MJ-esque jacket, but has the dance skills to back it up lol)... V and Jin, also unique in tone... my head started spinning LOL! It wasn't until later that I learned about their rap line (they are a staple on my playlist now). So much talent in that car!
I found them on that advert too, in the UK! 🙌
The carpool karaoke was how I was introduced to them as well. Dynamite was my first comeback as an army! This is so nostalgic!

12:37 That‘s Jungkook (JK) who hits the high notes perfectly while sitting. He sounds pitch perfect. I‘m convinced that he could sing those notes in every position possible and regardless the circumstances 😅
There’s a video called “jungkook doesn’t need autotune,” it’s amazing!!! Or “main vocalist jungkook” by Ida S. It’s a cool look behind the scenes as his job as their main vocalist and most people think it’s just he has the most parts... but it’s so so much more and I just found that out.. so proud of him being the baby of the group... but he’s all grown up and baby kookie is not here anymore 😂 he’s got music in his soul... he comes up with the adlibs in the songs and he’s creating them in this video too for other songs :) this kid is nuts. Omg papa mochi, Taes “I’m good boy....” my heart man I can’t... these guys are amazing. The more you see who they are... legit half the reason we live them is bc they’re so wholesome and loving... pure light man !!!! So happy jungkook gave you the goosebumps too... that is an iconic part for sure !!

Yeah, RM is legitimately crazy smart. In high school he tested at an IQ of 148 and tested in the top like 2% or something of students his age in the nation.
He taught himself English and is also fluent in Japanese.
They've live together in one small apartment since pre-debut. Even they sleep in one room coz their company cant afford big apartment which is has so many rooms coz their company is struggle for financial (even almost bankruptcy). After they success, they moves to bigger apartment n each members now have their own room. Each members have bought their own apartments, but they decide to still live together at same apartment. Because, they already used to each other n feel lonely to live alone.

I think they live on their own more often than they say. They do have a shared place that they all can go to live and I think they stay there when their doing more stuff together ... they love each other but everyone needs time away from their family sometime lol I wouldn’t be surprised if no matter what they kept a place that was only for them... and when they get old that they’d meet there once a month or take trips together or something... these guys are forever and always!!!! Love them

A few fun facts:
1. James Corden is a HUGE BTS fan! He talks about them a lot. So is Jimmy Fallon. He did a whole BTS week last year with them. Also, John Cena is a HUGE Army as well. (They are fans of each other actually).
2. You should watch the video where BTS primarily RM meets Drake. RM totally fan boys out. It's super cute!
3. There are so many videos out there about them! My personal favorite intro videos are The Most Beautiful Life Goes On by The Asian Theory and the xCeleste videos. The one about Army is particularly good. I think it's almost necessary to watch both sets because they give very different information.
4. If you really want to laugh at the haters, you should watch Army is a Karma series. I think they are up to 5 now.
5. Lastly, for when you start bleeding purple (it happens to the best of us), watch The Rise of Bangtan video series. It's probably the best fan made docuseries I've ever watched about anything. It's extremely professional. You might want to watch it on your own time though. Each episode is 30 minutes long not including the deleted scenes and other information. She's at 11 or 12 right now and only about 4 to 5 years in. Something to look forward to I promise. BTS also has a couple of documentaries out there as well.
The rabbit hole is long and deep, but fun as hell! Enjoy the fall!

This carpool karaoke remains one of the greatest things that have ever existed on the face of the earth. Endless good vibes no matter how many times you’ve watched it. Forever grateful for James Corden for showing BTS in the right light, making them comfortable enough to be exactly who they are so that larger audience would fall in love with them.
There’s something like a “dorm” where they lived together when they train before they debuted as a group. (They literally all shared the same bedroom sleeping in bunk beds). Over the years they got more space. Now they are multimillionaires who have multiple properties. They still have a really large luxury apartment they still call a “dorm” and they tape a lot of their random videos in but they don’t live there together like they used to. They are grown men in their 20s who need space and privacy but apparently there’s a small section of the fandom that likes to believe they will live together with each other forever 😂

They sang a couple of covers in addition to their songs; the first song (6:50) is ‘Finesse,’ by Bruno Mars ft. Cardi B., and the second song (17:50) is ‘Circles,’ by Post Malone.
RM (the person sitting in front) has done collabs with Wiz Khalifa, Wale, and a few other Western rappers. Most of the members have done collabs with Western artists. As you learn more about them, you will see their videos. Enjoy the journey!

They’ve always lived together, but according to certain media out there (not sure if they’re credible ones), it seems like one by one, each bought a place in the recent years, but BTS nor Big Hit has confirmed or officially said so. They still do live together a lot (or maybe most of the time) because they’re always working on things. They started out all in one bedroom ages ago, but later whenever they end up move to a bigger place, they either have their own bedroom and/or pair up. Eventually, in their dorm (as they refer to their home) they all have their own bedrooms except Jimin and J-Hope share a room together.

RM learned rapping from NAS that's why sometimes thy sound similar , so yeah , he is a BIG fan also later he learned to sing- rap from drake. So also a big fan of him , also ofc he has all the influence of the ogs ( so he learned from them but NAS is was primarily and later also Drake ).

Hi I am from Indonesia. Will you get surprised if I say that, I know lots of people in my country who also learn English from movies? Well I am also one of them. I pick up words from movies and FRIENDS is no exception. So when I know that RM is like that too, it is so relatable ❤️
These guys are superb at improv. Give them the faintest way forward, they move with top improv, everyone is clever at it. They obviously love it. This is the 1st time I have seen the entire segment. Not all of this made it on the James Cordon show. Thanks.
In most interviews, BTS fight is mostly about food. The dumplings, the banana. Other fights we know is about room share: one snoring too much, one always wants to sleep on the bottom bed (they used to have bunk bed), the other ones have so many stuff on his bed he goes around and sleep on someone else's bed, one or two never put their shoes on the right places.
I'm still so surprised that RM said NAS after fanboying like crazy after meeting Drake. I just want to know how excited he must have been to have met NAS then

Jimin and V are best, best friends to the point they refer to each other as soul mates. :) ........which is probably why they are the most likely to argue with each other. 😆 They really did get into a massive fight over dumplings once.
