@becauseisaac thanks for this. If never seen the point in a VPN before, so your explanation was really helpful (and you're nice to listen to, so I actually listened). And this is good deal for a highly recommended service 🙂
The song Stray Kids probably only hits really hard when you've been a fan for a while. The whole music video are references to old music videos over the span of 7 years, it's really emotional when you saw them making their way up over the years :) they actually said that they cried writing the lyrics. You'd love Jjam though
WHEN I TELL YOU, I BALED MY EYES OUT LISTENING TO "STRAYKIDS", My dad came in asking why I was crying and when i told him he had the nerve to laugh at me
Something that makes Stray Kids a very memorable song to fans who have been around a little longer is that it takes chord progressions heard in their very first song and do an adaptation within those chords to create a meaningful song for the fans. It’s my personal belief that Mountains and Stray Kids (the song) were both created with their upcoming tour in mind. There are easy to sing sections that fans can easily join in on.
Thank you for bringing this up, I was going to say the same thing too! Stray Kids was a trip down memory lane, not just in the chords used in Hellavator and the clips of their past music videos and concerts, there was a lot of memorable things in their lyrics.
Main reason why old fans love song Stray Kids is PRECISELY that chord progression. Because that is the chord progression they used in their very first song ever, Hellevator, which they also talk about here.
Ive been struggling these past few months and when I found skz it’s like I found a new home. I’ve been a stay since the beginning of September 2024 and it’s helped me a lot (I’m much happier now).even though I have only been a stay for a couple of months it’s still fun to see all the references 🙂
Bro ... they also wrote a sick a$$ song called "SLASH" for the sound track for new movie Deadpool & Wolverine It has plenty of bass and all that good stuff ....PLEASE REACT TO IT... thank you
You should watch the other MV for this album, JJAM. There is an album intro that explains their concepts and process, and one of them, Seungmin I think, says that what Changbin didn't put in Chk Chk Boom, he put it JJAM. It's real fun, and it has banger choreo. There's a dance practice for it as well. Stray Kids the song is for the fandom. Stay have already adopted it as an anthem, and a lot of Stay teared up at that video. Not sure if you've heard Hellevator yet, which was their first song, pre-debut. They've just renewed their contract, and this song is telling Stay that they aren't going to stop.
Also, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are friends with Stray Kids. They have been since SKZ did a Deadpool-Themed performance on a show called Kingdom in 2021 (its was a mashup of God's Menu and BlackPink's Ddu Ddu Ddu). It went viral and someone sent it to Ryan, and a adorable friendship was born. Since Felix and Bang Chan (the leader) are both Australian, Ryan dragged Hugh into it too. They also got to meet Chris Hemsworth this year at the Met Gala and he apparently picked up each member of SKZ, lol. So Ryan and Hugh did this video for funsies and friendship, without Marvel's knowledge according to Ryan. He didn't tell them before he did it.
Actually the song stray kids is more sentimental, the intent was to look back on their past and assure fans they’ll be together for long. That’s why it’s a simple song
Have you seen the video when they were interrupted the performance on I think a comeback stage while singing this, then half way through the voices of Stays start to play over the speakers saying their own encouraging comments with photos around them appearing. Basically all the boys ended up in tears and couldn’t believe it. When the music came back on they were all singing up at the photos instead of the cameras. i get emotional every time
Ryan has been friends with Chan, since 2021 , They've been really close friends exchanging gifts and complementing each other. The funny thing is that marvel dosen't know about this collab. Both Ryan and Hugh willing decided to cameo on the M/V because they both love Straykids so much. Fast forward to now, both Hugh and Ryan are huge Stays, This collab was anticipated for stays for a while. Also Straykids will be featured in the new Deadpool and wolverine movie theough an OST ( original sound track )called "Slash", the track for slash was barely heard in the movie and was heard 17:08 into the deadpool movie, if you pay attention you can felix's voice saying tap, its the scence when wade (ryan) goes opens the door to talk to the TVA Based on the M/V I saw a total of 15 refrecnes to songs, their could be more , but these I know for sure, Hellevator, District 9, mixtape:on, THUNDEROUS, GROWUP, BLUEPRINT,DOUBLE KNOT , MIROH, levanter, Easy, mirror , sideefffefcts, mixtape:time out, lonely st, spread my wings, I will be explaning the refrecnes and the how they actually tied with the actual orriginal M/V of eadch song 1.) 15:03 Felix actually auditioned with a free-style dance to become a JYP trainee, not even singing (to Bang Chan's surprise lol), and he is the youngest of the three members in the dance unit aka Danceracha (with Lee Know and Hyunjin). 😊 Many years competing in Taekwondo taught him how to stay light on his feet, and his foot work is so good! He also was in charge of adding flair to the choreo with high kicks and spins in the past, but has stopped due to a chronic back injury. Also Stray Kids by Skz might have more emphasis on the lyrics as it's more of a sentimental song for Stay and Skz themselves. Past songs such as Hellevator (their first song predebut), Lonely St., Blueprint, Miroh, Spread My Wings and District 9 are referenced in the lyrics and/or in the M/V with flashbacks to their past work. We got a teaser before they released the M/V and Stay cried their eyes out with just the teaser. It was game over when the video revealed flashbacks of the kids all the way back to predebut. They also renewed their contract a year earlier so this song and the "oh we'll never stop" and the "no last Step Out" had everyone feeling sentimental ❤
I wish you listened to JJAM instead of Stray Kids. I think Stray Kids was made more for concerts. It's meant to be a song they use for connecting with STAY and having an emotional 'we made it' moment, so I think that's why the production is lighter, so as not to distract from the emotion of the song. The lyrics are full of old references and old song titles, so they've kept the power in the lyrics rather than the production. I think JJAM will be what you're looking for, and has fun choreo. It's so different again from any of their other songs while still having that Skz sound. I'd also recommend watching the album teaser mashup so you can get a taste of the whole album in a few minutes without listening to it. The video is super creative, showing each stage of the creation process of their album in visuals.
Stray Kids the song is perfect as is… for every fan who has discovered their journey, this song is everything. I can’t watch the video, or hear the song, without tearing up. And the line “there ain’t no last STEP OUT” is so powerful. The purpose of this song is a bit different, and they nailed it perfectly
If you want to hear there pure vocals, check out their making ofs or behind the scenes (on their RUclips). They have them recording in studio raw vocal. Also, they have a few songs on RUclips "The First Take" where you can also hear their vocals. Some of the best songs ever! You can just search Stray Kids The First Take and find them! ❤
The first take does fix their voice a little bit. The best option is seeing them in the studio or maybe a live performance (but then the vocals wouldn’t be clear from the dancing and the backtrack)
@sofiarolfranco3381 That is why I suggested their making of videos for the raw studio stuff. But I meant for pure as in the audio is clear and easier to hear the vocals over the music (in my opinion), not that it's not fixed a bit... because outside of their lives and live performances, there will be rare "raw" vocals to find full songs of hahaha
RE: Chk Chk Boom Because of the appearance of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in the Chk Chk Boom music video, some people think that song was in the Deadpool movie. Stray Kids have actually been friends with RR and HJ for a few years. But other than them appearing in the M/V, the song Chk Chk Boom is not related to the Deadpool movie at all. The song Stray Kids (actually, 3Racha) DID write for the official Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack is called SLASH. It's exclusively on the movie soundtrack and not part of Stray Kids' new album, ATE. Unfortunately, there's no M/V for SLASH, but here's a lyrics video: ruclips.net/video/dhj4fK24jnM/видео.html
The Stray Kids track is a call back in terms of music, lyrics, and m/vs of their journey over the last 7 years and is incredibly emotional for Stay. There are references that are meant to bring back the feelings from pre-debut to now. It is beloved for each chord, line of lyric, and m/v scene even if it doesn't do anything experimental or different in the production. The Ryan Reynolds connection and friendship goes back for a few years (look up Kingdom:Legendary War and God's Du-Du-Du-Du) and the collab was inevitable. They have the only original track on the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack with badass "Slash." Autotune is a tool that actually compliments a SKZ track. I was never a fan of the use of Autotune, but Bang Chan and 3RACHA have managed to convince me that it's perfect in any SKZ track because they know precisely where to use it as an enhancement effect as opposed to a vocal crutch. I welcome it in their music. You missed JJAM: Another awesome track andm/v with amazing choreo. Thanks for the reaction! Looking forward to seeing more Stray Kids!
Stray kids song is their past and shouting out their future. In the song they mention past songs like hellivator. Plus you will see flashes of them in the past. Basically they are are proud of how far they have come and promise a future.
@LeeKnowYongbokMyBiases827 what is "flaunting that fact off" supposed to mean? And are you really spitting your dummy about someone flaunting when your name is you flaunting your biases? 😂 Too bad you don't care about anything the members say, or you'd know why this tantrum is doubly stupid.
@@MinsungsFavoriteChild827 I think it's a funny statement like the "Welcome to the Dark Side. We have cookies." Granted, having Felix is a good reason to hang around.
If you want choreo, watch the performance videos. Stray Kids is for Stay, so we know what their voices sound like. The music is like that on purpose, partly for the nostalgia, partly because the point of the song is the message in the lyrics so the music is simple to not distract from that. When you've heard more of their stuff you'll get that's that how they do it. You really need to listen to the lyrics, like they say at the start, the message is in their music. Stray Kids is them telling you who they are. And God's Menu told you they do everything, every style, every flavour you could want. There's no such thing as typical SKZ, you just picked title tracks so they have similar vibes, but every album is a mix of styles and every album is different from the last. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are in the Chk Chk Boom mv because they're really good friends with SKZ. It started years ago with a Deadpool theme for the Kingdom competition show. Felix fanboyed over Ryan Reynolds, Ryan is a K-pop fan and fanboyed back and sent BangChan a gift basket of treats, and declared him his new favourite Australian. Hugh Jackman is one of Ryan Reynolds closest friends, and his previous favourite Australian, so he replied that BangChan could have Ryan because "he's a lot." And a beautifully weird and bromance was born. I bet you weren't as surprised as Marvel to see Deadpool in a K-pop music video. He didn't tell them he did it 😂 It takes a few hours for them to learn choreo. And the songs are around 3mins because that's how long songs always used to be. Simples 😉
I love that Hugh gifted Ryan to Chan.. He was keeping Felix for himself though lol.. I don't blame him...🖖🏽 I wish someone would gift me a Stray Kid or Stray Old Man.. I'm not picky..
@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 😄 Ryan gave Chan treats and his own brand gin, Hugh gave Chan Ryan 😂 But I think you have to be an Aussie to get a Stray Old Man or a Stray Kid. Sorry, no Strays for Borg lol.
@@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 seems reasonable 🤔 Depends who you assimilate. They did cut the Stray Old Men's dance scene 😂 (I'd seriously pay every penny I have to see that scene!)
To fully appreciate the song Stray Kids, one must know the history of their songs and their pre-debut song Hellevator.. This is such a take you down on memory lane, because the music and the lyrics were pieced together from their previous songs and the MVs.
Stray kids proved their vocal strength on their appearance of their legendary kingdom performances battles where they were incredible. At first I wasn’t a fan of the auto tune parts but since knowing they truly sound the same live the autotune is doesn’t bother me as much since I know they are still just as talented. Also hyunjin didn’t perform in the legendary kingdom performances except for the first introduction battle, but they are still so worth watching if you haven’t watched their performances there yet. Also I seen them like at the Kia forum in 2022 and it was SO EPIC. I went alone but I was 22 and wanted to see them so I went, and it was so fun!!
The thing is if you don't know the old songs and mv's you can't see the connection between the song Stray Kids to their past. So i think that's why you think its lacking, even though there is actually a lot of depth in this song and the mv.
Listen to "stray kids" again in a year. I think it was made simpler to reflect their first songs, as lyrics reference a lot of their past song titles and MV recaptures parts from past videos giving it a really reminiscent feeling. If you know you know, I low key tear up when I hear this song thinking about their journey.
“Stray kids” song and music video is one that really hits hard whether your a day one stay or a new stay who has been catching up on their content. Like you see them incorporating their past MVs plus the current them being in their old sets, really makes you feel like you have grown with them and really look how much they’ve grown. The chorus really hits hard when you think about what multiple members have said in recent interviews, at concerts, lives about wanting to be the longest active group.
Hello from a Silver Stay💙💙 Their songs are not auto tuned, all you have to do is listen to them at concerts (on RUclips) and even their studio sessions. You will hear the same voices and their colour coded songs on RUclips (you can hear their voices for songs without a music video too). I’ve rewatched the 2024 SKZ Complete Guide (going down the SKZ rabbit hole you’ll learn so much about Stray Kids group and Stay family). I’m a silver stay, Stay over 50, I am so proud of their growth-line of song Chan said “…there’s no Step Out…”💙I cry even harder because I know that they have to leave for Korean military service starting next year and Hellevator was their debut movie video and song. This video (Stray Kids) is 3:25 long which is March 25 SKZ debut. Video was released on Stays birthday August 1 (6 years 3 minutes and 52 seconds) 3Racha cried writing lyrics (Bang Chan, Binnie and Han). And hearing Stays & SKZ sing this song during concert you could see how emotional they all were on stage. Not even Love Stay had that reaction. Stays broke this video down to 15 videos used (broken down by video and min/sec) but we think there are some more 💙💙. Please Stay, send any help would be appreciated💙😘 So far we’ve found: Hellevator used throughout Glow District 9 Miroh Victory Song Side effects Double knot In Spread my wings 3:22 the boys make Chan’s wings. Felix starts wings and Han ends. Blueprint Thunderous masks and flowers Kids stand by ocean Time Out White uniforms left on bus Blue flowers signifying Hyunjins blue blindfold “Dark tunnel “ same lyrics as Lonely Street Them watching their own history and Stays at concerts waving the light sticks Key from Cle series and Double Knot Arriving at Haven to sing to stays (every stop shows their history and finally reaching H-Haven their secret, safe space; they ATE this comeback and started their world dominATion💙), Last heartbeat to show joy Still missing fireworks, kids watching shows, concerts, confetti , fireworks, I.N. looking through glass at beginning, Seungmin holding round globe, Felix holding a block (I think), Mixtape time out 0:28 or 3:20 kids on beach. 😭💙i cry every single time i watch this video and hear this song, full of memories 💙💙 Have a blessed day 💙
hello sweet silver Stay, just wanted to relieve any stress to let you know that no one is going into the military services anytime soon. With Chan and Felix being Aussies, they won't be drafted and Lee Know [2nd oldest] still has a long way to go before worrying about that, possible around 2028. They just renewed their contact with JPYe for another 7 years so we got some time still. 🖖🏽
Was curious about the Silver Stray part as I haven't heard it yet. Come to find out I'm 7 years til Silver. Hopefully they renew their contract again for my 5oth.
@@MemphisJagsfan LOL.. I think that something we older Stay 'name ourselves' within Stayville. I call myself a 'Sunbae' Stay which just means senior in Korean. Folks are so surprised that there are a multitude of ages ranges in Stay. Stay from pre-debut will call themselves fossils & newly interested are babyStay. So, no matter what your actually age is, IF you know their names/faces, have a bias or 2 or 8 or can't pick yet.. understand the inside jokes [grass anyone?] or not, but love the music.. you're a Stay. Welcome to Stayville.. Wanna come in?🖖🏽
@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 I've been around for 5 years, so started in my late 30s, but know enough. I've been a Stay for 5 years and have figured out my own strategy to ready myself for new comebacks. My hobby is watching new Stays try to find their bias and then switching after they watch a guide...so hopefully, I'm well along.
I am definitely a Silver Stay(78) and I have never, in all my life, gone down a rabbit hole quite like this one. I love them all, their music is amazing and I just fell in love with their philosophy and ..well.... everything else about them. They have signed on for another 5 years and I hope I'm still around to experience every moment of it. Bless these guys as they have blessed us.
sttray kids the song is a constant audio and visual call out to damn near every music video they've ever made. without having a very deep knowledge of their ography, a lot goes over your head, and the magic with it.
Thanks for the video! Please check out JJam, Megaverse and I Lose My Breath (slower song.) I also like I Like It (kind of beepoppy.). Looking forward to seeing more of your SKZ reactions.
you have to see their solo music videos .. their releesed solo usics in thier new album HOP Bang chan - Railway Leeknow - Youth Changbin - ULTRA Hyunjin - So Good Han - Hold my hand Felix - Unfair Seungmin - As we are I.N - HALLUCINATION STRAYKIDS - Walkin On Water
Showed our pre debut light stick proudly at Melbourne concert. Everyone has to at least see them live once. We're lucky to have seen them when there was only a couple of thousand to the last which was 30,000 people.
Stray Kids is all about nostalgia and the vibes from their old music. The stylistic choices were very intentional and its one of those ones that goes off live for the crowd calls ❤
I am so happy my 12 year old asked about going to see these guys. I took my son and daughter to see "Twenty One Pilots" 2 times on the Trench tour and 1 time so far on the Clancy tour. Last month we went and saw "Empire of the Sun" at the Hollywood Bowl for my son's 14th birthday. So when my daughter asked me, I had to say yes. I come from being a HUGE New Kids on the Block fan and knowing how important it was for me to see them in 1991 and again in 2008, I just can't deny my children the excitement of concerts. SO, I did get tickets to see Stray Kids, pretty decent seats for SoFi stadium where Taylor Swift played!! HUGE stadium. These guys will look like the California Raisins (in size if you are old like me 47 and know what I am saying). NOT CHEAP!!! I guess it is average now for normal price tickets to be in the $100.00-200.00 range. Anything closer was $1k - $3k!!!! These guys are a BIG deal. I'm excited and surprisingly so is my 14 year old son! My favorite song(s) Side Effects and Chk Chk Boom. I can pretend I know the words but I do know the beat. Can't wait to shake my stuff. Hopefully I don't kill my daughters vibe 🤣🤣🤣Good times.
I have to say that if you stick to their music videos you'll miss a lot of really good songs I think stray kids is more lyric focused because it is a call back to so many of their old songs as well as a celebration of their journey and a promise to their fans. I would love to see your raction to Slash and Jjam For their vocals there are so many Twilight of this album is Jazzy There is secret secret and silent cry which kind of go together Cover me and leave of rockstar There are so many good songs. If you want to hear their live vocals any of the one takes is great
Ryan Reynalds became a Stay after they did a dead pool themed performance. Both Bang Chan and Felix are Austrailian so they struck up an easy professional relationship!!!
What sets Stray Kids apart from other bands is that despite the split they've gone through, they're all visuals, dancers, rappers and vocals. In addition, of course, to the references they give their fans and the love they put into their productions. Let's not forget that they write and produce most of their own songs.
Straykids’ straykids was actually about their improvement and they even included their song names over the span of 7 years… it is actually a very nice song…
Just found your channel. I feel like if any more technicalities was added to “Straykids”, then the simplicity in it would have been long. It's meant to be sincere and simple, in contrast to how tough their journey of 7 years have been.
"Stray Kids" is a song for the fans. They're referencing older songs and MVs we've all come to love. So it's not made as a "hit maker" but more a nod to us. :)
MOOOORE we want you to see more😂 i think that it Can be cool if you react to more dance practices videos while discovering new stuff. I would personally recomend domino, side effects and top. Thank youuuu
For context, their title tracks (like Chk Chk Boom, LALALALA, S-Class, Thunderous, etc.) have the videos with choreography while most of their B-Sides (like Mountains, Megaverse, Topline, Cheese, etc) videos do not. Jjam is one of the exceptions.
Stray kids are so cool. They probably have the most control over their music than anyone else in the K-pop industry. A couple of songs I recommend are: Any, Get Lit, Super Bowl (it’s English but there’s no MV), Super Board, Hall of Fame, and Victory Song These songs are probably not gonna be as recommended but they’re all such bangers ❤ “They also have Felix.” That’s one of the best reasons to Stan stray kids, even stray kids themselves answered the question of “why should I Stan stray kids” with “we have Felix” 😂😂😂 Oh, and Ryan and bangchan are good friends and Ryan is a stay especially after their Deadpool themed performance “God’s Dududu”. It’s a mashup of their song God’s Menu and Blackpick’s song DUDDUDU with so other lyrics and lines added in. ❤
The "stray kids" song was a song representing every mv and old songs they have from the very beginning of thr career, the struggle and how they make a name for thr own as STRAY KIDS if ur not a long time stay you won't understand the meaning of the song. It's a song for Stray Kids and Stays 💙
YESS I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! Chk Chk Boom is definitely one of my top 3 favorite songs on the album! You should definitely check out the rest of the album!
The fact that he didn’t even know that Felix was Australian… his reaction reminds me of me fr 🤣 when i knew that Bangchan and Felix were aussies i was like wtf dude fr??? 👁️👄👁️ But yeah. I saw a few comments of stays where they were explaining about Stray kids song. And I absolutely agree with them cuz it’s more touching song than their music type. It’s more likely showing their journey how they’ve started and linking all those years. I personally think that 3racha and the kids wanted to show us how they closed the chapter of debut years and now they are starting new chapter of freedom and renewing their contract n such. If you listen to Stray kids’s debut songs such as Hellevator (pre-debut song), and albums like i am you, i am not, i am who you’ll see how they’ve improved over the years. And also welcome to Stayville Isaac 🥹 PS: YOU GOTTA CHECK SLASH. THAT’S A REALLY HIT DUDE!!
Chk chk boom was for the deadpool movie. Thats why, ryan and wolverine did cameo..plus..ryan is friends and a big fan of stray kids..they got interviewed by sk too..😄you may like to react to that too..
All I can say is that I’m in my 50s…I’m a classical pianist…I hate pop music, I hate rap…but I can’t get enough of these guys. 😄 They’ve gotten me back in the gym, back online looking for fresh music ..loving it!
Actually Ryan is a HUGE fan, he ASKED to be in the video & didn't even ask if he could wear his Dead Poole costume! He & Chan have been friends for quite some time!!!
I think you should watch the practice videos after the mv all the time. You're right, kpop choreo is the best. So satisfying to watch, its a a dopamine booster. Ive been listening to them since they were rookies and even then you could hear the creativity as they developed their unique sound- no one makes "noise music" like stray kids. Its been so cool to see them grow into themselves as individuals and artists. They just keep leveling up.
you should totally watch other dance practice videos!! theyre so satisfying, a few of my favourites are DOMINO, Easy, ALL IN, LALALALA & Scars a few songs that i think youll like: Charmer (no mv), JJAM (mv), Cover me (no mv), Social path (mv), Superbowl (mv), Falling up (no mv) you also mentioned seeing some behind the scenes on their producing, they do have alot of videos showing them recording/producing in the studio, you should search them up!! i really enjoy watching people discover stray kids for the first time and i feel like everything above is like a solid introduction to them and their versatility as a group
I know that for a bunch of Stray Kids songs they will post videos of the dance practice, song recording for to make the song, and M/V Making Film. They are all on the Stray Kids channel i believe or on JYP Entertainment cause that's who produces their music same with other K-pop bands Also for their song called Stray Kids it does have some things behind it cause it goes back to a few of their songs from 2017-2020 like Blueprint, District 9, MIROH, and Hellevator.
If you can get to a Stray Kids concert in person ... DO IT! That was the first time I heard them thanks to my daughter wanted to go. I've been converted :)
15:14 it takes about a week to learn if you keep trying dor about and 1-1 hr and half a day or every two days (how long it took me) however most k pop groups spend hours and hours on coreography and recording for comebacks sometimes it takes about 3/5 for some k pop idols and groups.
25 seconds until the first mention of Felix XD It is worth to stop the MV of Mountains and read what is on the computer screens LOL, they even hidden some jokes there
the song stray kids is an amazing song and very sentimental but i feel like it’s meant more for the fans than anything we get what they’re trying to express through the song due to us following them for a while or even not that long but we understand and makes it more meaningful for us

@becauseisaac thanks for this. If never seen the point in a VPN before, so your explanation was really helpful (and you're nice to listen to, so I actually listened).

last day of offer.
U missed out the "JJAM". N another 1, THUNDEROUS⚡
The song Stray Kids probably only hits really hard when you've been a fan for a while. The whole music video are references to old music videos over the span of 7 years, it's really emotional when you saw them making their way up over the years :) they actually said that they cried writing the lyrics. You'd love Jjam though
I cried watching the Stray Kids video, it's such a lovely look back
I just worry that they're looking back because they're preparing for the inevitable K-pop 'break'
@@noahsark342 they just renewed their contract, so I think this was more looking back over their first seven years and how far they've come.
WHEN I TELL YOU, I BALED MY EYES OUT LISTENING TO "STRAYKIDS", My dad came in asking why I was crying and when i told him he had the nerve to laugh at me
i'm happy someone explained this objectively i can understand the comment he made but as a stay the song is just amazing and everything i needed.
Gotcha! That makes a lot of sense now
Non old fans too!! I love this song so much. I’m like a year old stay I think
Stray Kids always have reasons for their production choices!

Me too. I'm a STAY for close to 2 years now.
Ive been struggling these past few months and when I found skz it’s like I found a new home. I’ve been a stay since the beginning of September 2024 and it’s helped me a lot (I’m much happier now).even though I have only been a stay for a couple of months it’s still fun to see all the references 🙂
Bro ... they also wrote a sick a$$ song called "SLASH" for the sound track for new movie Deadpool & Wolverine It has plenty of bass and all that good stuff ....PLEASE REACT TO IT... thank you
THIS. It is AMAZING.
Yes, please!!!❤
It's easily my favorite Stray Kids song. Maybe my favorite song period. I hope it gets a music video...
@@ColKizumi that would be so awesome.
It fits the movie so well. Reynolds became a fan of SKZ after their Deadpool themed performance on Kingdom.
@@ladyshar42 and SKZ's song SLASH is in the new marvel movie as well
Actually the song stray kids is more sentimental, the intent was to look back on their past and assure fans they’ll be together for long. That’s why it’s a simple song
literally nearly sobbed because it was the 1st time i really paid attention to the reference
Also Straykids will be featured in the new Deadpool and wolverine movie theough an OST ( original sound track )called "Slash", the track for slash was barely heard in the movie and was heard 17:08 into the deadpool movie, if you pay attention you can felix's voice saying tap, its the scence when wade (ryan) goes opens the door to talk to the TVA

Wooo, that’s a lot! Thanks for writing that out
Wow, thanks for the thorough analysis ❤️
@@Sherardia ofc
0:18 “and they also have Felix” is the most relatable thing I’ve heard all year 😂❤
5:42 1st beat and I’m already prepared to sob again 😭
15:03 Felix actually auditioned with a free-style dance to become a JYP trainee, not even singing (to Bang Chan's surprise lol), and he is the youngest of the three members in the dance unit aka Danceracha (with Lee Know and Hyunjin).
That's right, they had Chris do everything: play the piano, the guitar, he had to sing and dance :D
You never have to ask Stay if it's OK to watch more whether it's dance practice or anything else SKZ. :-D
I found Jjam after filming the video 🥲
It's just sooo sticky@@becauseisaac
@@becauseisaacdo jjam next?
@@becauseisaacWell, there’s a perfect excuse to do another Stray Kids reaction, my friend! There are plenty other songs to add in with it 😁
Stray Kids the song is perfect as is… for every fan who has discovered their journey, this song is everything. I can’t watch the video, or hear the song, without tearing up. And the line “there ain’t no last STEP OUT” is so powerful. The purpose of this song is a bit different, and they nailed it perfectly
The thing about this song Stay Kids, I feel is it was made for the fans. The fans sing it to them before they start the show and it's amazing.
15:41 mountains is the first song on the setlist of their current world tour and omg does it hit hard live!! (There is choreo too)
Lollapalooza made me a fan it is straight up hrs of hype! I cannot explain I have been a passive watcher and seeing that show was incredible.
I feel like they wanted Stray Kods to be an anthem for their growth, and something easy for ALL stays to sing. They didn’t need over production.
RE: Chk Chk Boom
Because of the appearance of Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in the Chk Chk Boom music video, some people think that song was in the Deadpool movie.
Unfortunately, there's no M/V for SLASH, but here's a lyrics video:
ruclips.net/video/dhj4fK24jnM/видео.html
The Stray Kids track is a call back in terms of music, lyrics, and m/vs of their journey over the last 7 years and is incredibly emotional for Stay. There are references that are meant to bring back the feelings from pre-debut to now. It is beloved for each chord, line of lyric, and m/v scene even if it doesn't do anything experimental or different in the production.
The Ryan Reynolds connection and friendship goes back for a few years (look up Kingdom:Legendary War and God's Du-Du-Du-Du) and the collab was inevitable. They have the only original track on the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack with badass "Slash."
Autotune is a tool that actually compliments a SKZ track.

9:06 when it comes to the more heartfelt songs for stays, you won't hear much bass because they want you to focus on the lyrics rather than the sound.
Stray kids song is their past and shouting out their future. In the song they mention past songs like hellivator. Plus you will see flashes of them in the past. Basically they are are proud of how far they have come and promise a future.
I would love to recommend stray kids rock star recording, you can see how 3racha (Bang chan, changbin, han) directs the others, It's very interesting.

And are you really spitting your dummy about someone flaunting when your name is you flaunting your biases? 😂
Too bad you don't care about anything the members say, or you'd know why this tantrum is doubly stupid.
@@MinsungsFavoriteChild827 I think it's a funny statement like the "Welcome to the Dark Side. We have cookies." Granted, having Felix is a good reason to hang around.
Felix is in their dance-line with Lee Know and Hyunjin
He didn't tell them he did it 😂
It takes a few hours for them to learn choreo.
@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 😄
Ryan gave Chan treats and his own brand gin, Hugh gave Chan Ryan 😂

Stray Kids always makes me cry. Looking back at all they've accomplished in such a short time makes me so proud.
Please React them live. To good!
If you want some more raw vocals check out

Blue flowers signifying Hyunjins blue blindfold
“Dark tunnel “ same lyrics as Lonely Street
Them watching their own history and Stays at concerts waving the light sticks
Key from Cle series and Double Knot
Arriving at Haven to sing to stays (every stop shows their history and finally reaching H-Haven their secret, safe space; they ATE this comeback and started their world dominATion💙),
Last heartbeat to show joy
Still missing fireworks, kids watching shows, concerts, confetti , fireworks, I.N. looking through glass at beginning, Seungmin holding round globe, Felix holding a block (I think),
Mixtape time out 0:28 or 3:20 kids on beach.
😭💙i cry every single time i watch this video and hear this song, full of memories 💙💙
Have a blessed day 💙
hello sweet silver Stay, just wanted to relieve any stress to let you know that no one is going into the military services anytime soon.
Exactly
You should react to their songs on “first take” they sing 4 songs with one take it’s so good
Slump
Mixtape
Scars
Lost me
All on “first take”
Thanks for the video! Please check out JJam, Megaverse and I Lose My Breath (slower song.) I also like I Like It (kind of beepoppy.). Looking forward to seeing more of your SKZ reactions.
you have to see their solo music videos .. their releesed solo usics in thier new album HOP
Bang chan - Railway
Leeknow - Youth
Changbin - ULTRA
Hyunjin - So Good
Han - Hold my hand
Felix - Unfair

I.N - HALLUCINATION
STRAYKIDS - Walkin On Water
I was in tears listening to the 'Stray Kids' song live in Australia...this song hits fans harder than you imagine.
i dunno what it is but tthe "hoo"s in any of their songs always itch my brain soooo good. I love them so much
Showed our pre debut light stick proudly at Melbourne concert. Everyone has to at least see them live once. We're lucky to have seen them when there was only a couple of thousand to the last which was 30,000 people.
Straykids are the coolest and now they are famous too. I heard their new song “ lose my breathe “ on Turrono’s radio ❤❤❤❤
Idk how many times i hear/watch the song 'Stray kids' it at least makes me shed a drop of tears
I come from being a HUGE
New Kids on the Block fan and knowing how important it was for me to see them in 1991 and again in 2008, I just can't deny my children the excitement of concerts.
If you want to know just how great the stray kids song are, you have to listen to everything they have made 🤣
I have to say that if you stick to their music videos you'll miss a lot of really good songs
I think stray kids is more lyric focused because it is a call back to so many of their old songs as well as a celebration of their journey and a promise to their fans.
I would love to see your raction to Slash and Jjam
For their vocals there are so many
Twilight of this album is Jazzy
There is secret secret and silent cry which kind of go together
Cover me and leave of rockstar
There are so many good songs.
The ‘stray kids’ song is the song about their journey, if you watch their older video from predebut until now, they put some of it herr
I am so addicted to this song!. I listen to it multiple times a day!
A couple of songs I recommend are: Any, Get Lit, Super Bowl (it’s English but there’s no MV), Super Board, Hall of Fame, and Victory Song
These songs are probably not gonna be as recommended but they’re all such bangers ❤
“They also have Felix.” That’s one of the best reasons to Stan stray kids, even stray kids themselves answered the question of “why should I Stan stray kids” with “we have Felix” 😂😂😂
Oh, and Ryan and bangchan are good friends and Ryan is a stay especially after their Deadpool themed performance “God’s Dududu”.
There is choreo for Mountains when Skz performs it live at their concerts.
The fact that he didn’t even know that Felix was Australian… his reaction reminds me of me fr 🤣 when i knew that Bangchan and Felix were aussies i was like wtf dude fr??? 👁️👄👁️
But yeah. And also welcome to Stayville Isaac 🥹
PS: YOU GOTTA CHECK SLASH. THAT’S A REALLY HIT DUDE!!
They sound great live! Saw them at Hyde park London in July
These guys write and produce their own songs. They come up with the choreography too 🤌🏽💯
YESS THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!! (we need more kpop reactions pls lol)
Felix is part of the danceracha along with hyunjin n lee knowww ❤
I love stray kids, stray kids because of the nostalgia
Chk chk boom was for the deadpool movie. Thats why, ryan and wolverine did cameo..plus..ryan is friends and a big fan of stray kids..they got interviewed by sk too..😄you may like to react to that too..
Yea Nahh - Minor correction - Stray Kids 'SLASH' Lyrics (Deadpool & Wolverine OST) : ruclips.net/video/dhj4fK24jnM/видео.html
You should watch their live concerts! True live vocals 😊
I love the song stray kids so much is so cool this song is very memorable 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Great idea!
you should totally watch other dance practice videos!! theyre so satisfying, a few of my favourites are DOMINO, Easy, ALL IN, LALALALA & Scars
a few songs that i think youll like: Charmer (no mv), JJAM (mv), Cover me (no mv), Social path (mv), Superbowl (mv), Falling up (no mv)
you also mentioned seeing some behind the scenes on their producing, they do have alot of videos showing them recording/producing in the studio, you should search them up!!
i really enjoy watching people discover stray kids for the first time and i feel like everything above is like a solid introduction to them and their versatility as a group
“And they also have Felix… so yeah” LMAO ur so real for that😂
I know that for a bunch of Stray Kids songs they will post videos of the dance practice, song recording for to make the song, and M/V Making Film. They are all on the Stray Kids channel i believe or on JYP Entertainment cause that's who produces their music same with other K-pop bands
Also for their song called Stray Kids it does have some things behind it cause it goes back to a few of their songs from 2017-2020 like Blueprint, District 9, MIROH, and Hellevator.
if you want to hear their true vocals, I recommend watching their kingdom performances! They were amazing 🥺💖
can you react to there song Slash, I think you will love it
They are fabulous live I seen them at Hyde Park london last summer
Did anyone ever notice that Chk Chk Boom has screens that go bluescreen and it was released days before the WINDOWS incident.
omg you would love jjam it has the stray kids noise music and the choreo!!
Chk chk boom is a soundtrack song for the deadpool wolverine movie.
I feel like you would love Jjam, Domino and Easy for both the choreographies and the intricacy and details in the production.
You HAVE to watch their Kingdom performance where they cover Black Pink's Ddu-Du Ddu-Du! That's when the friendship w Ryan Reynold's started!
"they have Felix" indeed felix is one of the things that makes stray kids STRAY KIDS ❤
25 seconds until the first mention of Felix XD
It is worth to stop the MV of Mountains and read what is on the computer screens LOL, they even hidden some jokes there
You don't know it yet, but Changbin is your 2nd favourite after Felix 😅 You have such happy reactions to his raps, and i relate.
Adore Changbin ❤
@@freezeiceice same
the song stray kids is an amazing song and very sentimental but i feel like it’s meant more for the fans than anything we get what they’re trying to express through the song due to us following them for a while or even not that long but we understand and makes it more meaningful for us
Btw, they dont use autotune except for when they want it to kind of fade? But yeah.
I think, maybe, the first songs are early cuts. Felix has an incredible range. Also, Lee Know (green sweater) was back up dancer for BTS!
You missd Jjam! You'll love it & the dance practice
The mountain song choreography is very good ❤
