trying to fully make your very own thing? it'll be difficult to separate from these videos since they come along the support from the distractible stamp, but i wish you for the best luck possible i hope for its success, it'll be lovely to see what you have in store.
the crazy thing is that I drank a litre of pear juice tooday and like an hour later i'm dying on the toilet.. should've listened to this episode to know it would not be a good idea to drink all the juice
5:15 Not only is apple juice sugary, it's also an excellent source of fiber, which is why it gives you the runs on top of the sugar aspect. I found this out when I drank nothing but apple juice for all of my drinks one day. Not a good choice.
For an explanation as to some of the terms featured here: A humectant is a water absorbing (hygroscopic) substance used to keep things moist. A vehicle, in medical terminology, is effectively the medium by which a medication is administered (ex: a lotion is a vehicle for dermatological medications). An excipient is just an inert substance within a medication other than the active pharmaceutical ingredient or API. To be multi-compendial means that a drug can be found in the pharmacopoeia (or big book of directions for drug identification) for multiple countries and Nutraceutical is a drug marketing term used to imply that a drug’s pharmaceutical effects have not been confirmed to have clinical benefits.
So basically, it's a water absorbing, stable chemical that can be found in multiple countries' drug books that THEY HAVE NO REAL PROOF OF ANY CLINICAL BENEFITS.
I really like the way you de-aged Bob and Wade for the apple juice story, and don't get me wrong all the models are well done, but also baby Mark might haunt my nightmares.
I was originally told of this tale back in High School, and Distractible finally told me the reason why these Sugar Free Haribos give you the runs. Who knew that a sugar substitute also works as a laxative.
So according to some math ... if you eat one recommended serving (1.12 grams) you're about .35 grams short of the 40 grams of death poop compound since they're like 1.37 / 1.42 ounces of produced required to hit that. That's only 9 regulation gummy bears and if 40 grams of the stuff is enough to encourage you to have a typical laxative induced BM you're still getting most of that in those 9 pieces.
Once, when I was I high school, I heard the horror stories of those gummy bears and bought them. I put hand fulls of them in little goody bags and passed them out at school the next day. Midway through the school day, the bathrooms were full. There were people sitting in the hallways since the bathrooms were all ready full. There was screaming and crying. People shitting their pants. It was the best thing I've ever done. Thankfully, I didn't get in trouble. The smell was horrible. I don't regret it.
I really do too! Mr. Underbridge what style of animation is that? Is it rotoscoping? I'm personally fascinated by animation, but only know surface level stuff
@@drewvehmeier5658 I now know what rotoscoping animation is, so you know more than me lol. I love learning about technical stuff like this. It does kind of look like if you mixed that with 3D models.

Apple juice is so so good but every time I have more than one glass I get intense cramps and stomach aches. It's so sugary and so acidic it can really fuck you up for the rest of the day if you have too much, especially if you have a sensitive stomach like myself.
And now that episode will always be known as the "diarrhea episode of distractible" me and my family have actually read the stories about the gummy bears it's so bad but so funny 😂
I just want to thank you for the work you put into these to make them as funny as possible. I needed it so badly. Things have been a bit rought lately as my cat has been diagnosed with parvo, and we could barely get the money together to get him admitted and treatment started. He's been hopitalized and is doing better, but it's still upsetting and we didn't even know cats could get it. But seeing this and you other videos has helped make this trying time a little more bearable. Thank you.
I'm so sorry about your cat. I hope that he can return to good health as soon as possible. I'm glad that my videos could give you some comfort and help relieve some of the stress you are experiencing.
I am glad this got love. I highly recommend reading the reviews because I've heard dramatic readings of them and they. are. glorious! And yes, most people turned their tales of woe into BEAUTIFUL poetry of crapping themselves. Lol
Baby Mark looks like a 3d rugrat child and shall haunt my nightmares. There, he shall spend the remainder of his days, hypnotizing me with his spinning rainbow wheel.
Aaaah I remember this particular story-- I'm so glad that you've gotten around to animating this one!! As I mentioned in your interpretation of Bob's expired meat incident, I love how you personified the protests of the digestive system in such a visually fun way :D Additionally, I like the kiddo Bob and Wade models that you used for the apple juice story pfpff-- I also really love the glass cup just chilling in kiddo Wade's afro as he looks through the fridge! (And your patron thanks board being incorporated into the chemistry lab was a really nice touch) Also, you're making a "Woe's" show? Awesome!! Your projects just keep expanding, and I'm so excited to see where your creativity takes you!
I'm glad you enjoyed the visual gags and the character models. Putting the patrons on the board was a fun little thing to do and its awesome you liked that! The Woe's show is going to be really cool. 😊
I can't begin to tell you how many times I have gone on Amazon to read just the stories on there for the ratings for these gummy bears. Because every time I read one, I always find something new that I just cry with laughter about. I have literally been going on Amazon for the last 9 years just to read those 1-5 star ratings. I even have some of them saved in my phone.
For those who want to know, humectants are substances that attract water. They're commonly used in beauty and personal care products. Hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe vera, honey, and lactic acids are some examples of common humectants. In food, they serve to keep goods moist and shelf stable. In excess, however, they may cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. So when Mark was researching Lycasin, the part about the humectant was just describing what the stuff is and not a property of it.
Wades Apple juice story, happened to my mom too lol. She was driving home when it hit her lol. Anytime we drink Apple juice now, she warns us not to drink too much.

I learned the hard way in my youth that apple juice counts as a laxative, and didn't know about it until after the fact. I was doing the final night of a play as the lead villain in Nifty 50's and had drunk a whole bunch of apple juice in the downstairs breakroom in between my parts. Near the end of the show, thankfully I wasn't involved in the end song number, I felt like my gut was rearranging itself from the inside out and I wanted to die...and the worst part was my mom decided to *hang out and visit* with the gal directing the play while waiting on both myself and my brother who was also involved finishing up with the after-play stuff...so we had to wait a good half hour after closing to go home. I was not happy. It wasn't until after we got back and I blasted the bathroom that I learned that, yes, Apple Juice is a laxative and it was 100% a problem of my own making.
For anyone wondering, A humectant is essentially anything built to reduce loss of moisture, often in skin. So essentially saying something is a humectant means it can be used to reduce moisture loss.
It sucks because sometimes apple juice just tastes like nectar of the gods and you don't want to stop drinking. Same with grape juice 😅 same effects too lol
If you need ideas for future animations, I think doing one for an Amazon sugar free gummy bear review called "hell holds no surprises for me anymore" would be hilarious!

I've also been the victim of my lack of restraint around apple juice. That stuff cleared me out so good, I remember seeing pieces of gum that were from brands that hadn't been made since 1995. Ridiculous, dude. Do not recommend.
I had the apple juice problem after discovering chicha morada. I went to a Latin American restaurant that made it fresh and had free refills. I drank so much and had so much regret later
