I've seen it straight-up execute Tracer. As the Mercy and as the Tracer 😅

These were the abilities PVE were going to be with the progression system. The ones you could level up.
The story about your nephew was so sweet! It made me think of playing through the tutorial years ago, Overwatch was my first shooter-game.
I don't think these were intended as hero reworks, as much as they were just PvE abilities that never saw the light of day until now. Like the April Fools update. Big sadge...
I really hope they consider "alternate loadout" versions of heroes. Screw the balance implications- the variety is so refreshing.

Top level tracer players would dominate even more with this version of the character.
I'm only gold and I literally ran circles around a team, talking them out one by one and they couldn't stop me until I killed myself with a dash. 😂

A lot of this could just straight up be reworks but I also like the idea of like… optional reworks? Like a hero that’s in a good spot maybe low pick rate? Like Torb. Maybe there’s no ult cost to swap kits.

Not being able to tell what abilities an opponent has until they use it against you is against Overwatch’s rock-paper-scissors design philosophy. Counter-picking is a big part of the game, and it completely falls apart if some characters force you to play a 50/50 to guess which kit they’re running.
@@sssspider it wouldn't be terribly difficult to address- if you treat them as separate heroes with a different portrait and name (e.g. "Vengeance Mercy") you can determine their kit from from that.
If Blizzard has a hard enough time balancing one kit on a hero, how do we think they're going to do with two kits? There's way too many dials to tune at that point.
@@EmblemCrossing i just had an idea today - what if they make some heroes be a dual role pick? as in - lets say both tanks and supports can pick dva/winston....and both tanks and dps can pick mei/doomfist...etc etc...that way there would be more team comp options and counterpicking would play an even bigger part of the game without blizz having to do rush rebalancing - the amount of comps and counterpicking would practically balance itself out
Unironically hope so, Sombra actually feels good in the support playstyle she had, and the mercy change of souls exploding was fun ngl
I feel like everything they gave Ana could work in the actual game probably not the headshot damage, but the lunge and anti grenade changes are pretty good. Self Nano could be an alternative when your team is dead.

I think the rein changes were a sneak peak for his possible changes
Honestly I think giving the little widow shield to Ana could be great for her backline survivability without having to rely on nailing a sleep (especially when you have teammates who ignore your calls for help lol)
I never played Rein in normal games….but he’s my favorite tank in this one. The changes like Frenzy and dmg boost shield feel so so good I hope they integrate at the very least frenzy into his normal kit
The Wide queue issue could be fixed if they allowed solo queue players to have the option to get into a wide match or not. I think that would be really cool, because sometimes solo queue games can get really frustrating. But if you'd a match like that, you could enable wide queue and get into a sillier game and get less percentage from it. The original solution for this I think was the "looking for group" feature, but that obviously didn't work out. So I think that would probably be the best option for everyone...
I think Rage also gives you more damage. It's also nice seeing that losing Barrier isn't just a "time to fall over!" Issue. Something in case you lose it

I would like them to keep 2 changes: Rein’s hammer swing ramp up and Echo’s new ult for when she’s duplicating another Echo

Tracers change seems like its purely a buff and no nerfs or trade offs like with the other mirror watch characters

The double jump into a sleep dart on people feels so good... 😂 I especially love using her against Bastion so he can't farm his ult.
She plays like a selfish dps support. Like I think the headshots are a little too much, and only nanoing yourself takes away from synergy. Nade is on a shorter cooldown which is just plain stronger. The leap is neat, but it's just Hanzo's ability. She's fun, but it's not worth going live, there'd be too many issues.
Rein on the other hand has some merit to some of his new kit. Throw the guy a bone.

Man that Amp Shield looks so cool from the outside. When playing Rein it looks kinda meh though.
Mirrorwatch Bastion is probably my favorite of the changes. I really want to see a new hero with Mirrorwatch Bastion's abilities.
Just touching on what yall were talking about... I don't have friends that play overwatch, so I only solo queue. I gotta think that there's more solo queuers out there than 5 stacks
I only solo queue. I struggle to make friends in game, and every person I've ever met irl and asked to play this game with me hates it.
mercy is super fun to play in this, i get so many kills and assists 🤣

Rein feels so much better and the doom ability changes are good too. Block making sense since doom has personal shields.
