I wish they would give more kids elegant routines like this! So many performances with young kids have annoying screechy music 😅but this was simply beautiful all around! And such a mature dancer 👏 incredible job
@@aayak8705 no I mean non-ballet music used for ballet performances 😆 Usually the singer of the song is a middle aged woman belting out nursery rhymes. It’s honestly extremely rare that I see a little kid performing to classical music at all
@@youiladoneva4072 Mozart was a child genius who voluntarily picked out melodies on the piano far beyond any exercises he had been shown, who wrote his own compositions in a childish hand at the age of five, and went on composing brilliantly until his early death at the age of thirtyfive. He did not have to put his limbs and muscles through the demanding exercises and stretches of ballet training which can subject dancers to a life of pain. Any more comparisons?
You know, kids are taught in mixed age groups. The little ones see what the older ones are doing and go "I can do that." And they try. You will see them in the Dance videos copying the older kids for a few bars and that's about it. For most of them, they really can't dance at that level yet. But every once in a while comes along a little one like this who can. If the kid enjoys it and they are taught good forms and not pushed physically, no pointe shoes, no huge stretches, simple turns. Let her enjoy her little dance. And watch her blossom with the challenges she will set for herself just watching and copying the older kids.
What about the Balanchine's baby ballerinas. The art is endless, you can't put everyone in box. They are protegies and always will be. Why stop the genius?

She’s 7!! She should be doing class and not much more, to develop her technique, and tailor it to her growth. This is awful
