Flash Drive USB for iPhone and iPad Mini 64 GB

I gave my 9 year old son my old iPad mini last year and he told me recently that he's running out of space. He filled it up with nearly 300 pics and video clips! I showed him how to go in and delete any pics or video he doesn't like or need anymore and he got SO UPSET because he accidentally deleted some photos he didn't want to get rid of. (Unfortunately, I hadn't plugged it in to sync with my computer because I need to buy an external hard drive. Apparently, we BOTH have "issues" with taking too many pics and video! LOL)
I wanted a solution so we could free up space on his iPad and this little flash drive got the job done!
I plugged it in to his iPad, the app was easy to find and download, and I downloaded ALL the pics and video! Done! Afterwards, I plugged the flash drive into my computer to view the images to be SURE they were there before taking them off his iPad Mini. They showed up as a drive on my computer and I could view them all (I did Snipping Tool screen clips to show you).
It's really funny to see what photos he finds worthy of saving! He has photos and video clips from vacation, Grandma, screen shots of Minecraft worlds he's created, and at least 100 Cam Wow images! So silly! I'm really pleased that we've freed up space on his iPad. He has room for more apps now and he is happy we won't accidentally delete them.
Pros:
1) Easy to use - very user friendly and intuitive steps on the screen when you plug it in
2) I was able to fit it in with the Otterbox case - that was a surprise! I'm sure not ALL cases would work though.
3) Has 64 GB to fit A LOT of images and video!
4) I thought it would take a while, but it was faster than I thought!
5) The app allows you to take photos and video IN the app tool - that's really helpful!
6) There are settings to add password protection, etc.
7) App allows sharing too!
Note: you cannot put iTunes Music and Video files to flash drive since they are DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected.

Cons:
I'd love to see a little extended case or cover to better protect the USB end (you can slide it down to protect the iPhone connection part, but then the USB end is exposed. I like to keep the iPhone/iPad Mini connector covered since those are very fragile.
Overall, this is a great storage solution if your phone's all filled up! I know so many people who have maxed out their images and never sync with the cloud or a laptop/desktop computer. I sync my phone but not my son's iPad. When a device has limited storage, this is a handy little gagdget!
