Just got my ret to 40 too, it does feel like wheelchair spec goddammit! You don't have the dmg you need as melee class, only good with all cds up.
This phase was always gonna be rough for pally, not having a magic cleanse feelsbad.
Actually p2 ret is not that bad but avenger shield kinda meh:D Not worth it nowadays imo,cos there is meta where you oneshot or you die,so exo make more sense with half of avg shield cd,+ spending gcd on replace 1h with 2h such a pain.I usually just stun hunter and if he have trinket then i bubble and chase him in bubble and kill... Goodbye good all days when we feel ourselves tanky and leave under hunter for long. AS can be usefull if bliz remove that shield req.

the trees were designed for hardware in 2004. I admit it was optimized. but dude... we never had such optimization on such enviroments in game since then. Like omfg I WISH they would update the classic worlds graphical look. Nobody will play the game with me because it looks like n64 graphics...

i have no idea where to go as a new player to wow so i bought a restedxp horde guide and i still have no idea where to go
Quest to level 18 and spam dungeons to 40 from there on
Don't spam dungeons if you want to experience the game, but don't ignore dungeons because they can give great exp and gear. Just follow what interests you and check the level of the quests you pick up. The restedxp is an optimised levelling guide but is still a good way to learn the game and understand how quests work because Classic WoW is hard to get into at the start
