In that regard, the external factors of our economy are just another mass extinction event. The difference is, that we _can_ make a difference! Using less plastic, eating regional and seasonal foods, saving energy and water, going short distances by foot or bike: Thats something most of us can do, right now, every day, with an impact.
For the time being, the turtle and tortoise are regarded as reptiles, kinda sorta. They're actually closer, genetically, to birds and dinosaurs, than they are to snakes, lizards, crocodiles, etc.
In St. Lucia, there's a protected beach that sea turtles lay their eggs on, and people will stand guard an protect the baby turtles on their way to the water after they hatch, sometimes even carrying them to the ocean.
Brilliant 101, thank you ... I simply love turtles 🐢🐢🐢it's a shame that all 7 seaturtles are threatened thanks to us :/ I have made a tribute video for the World Turtle Day recently and remembered all the nice turtle encounters I had in the last years :)
This awesome video is so under rated (according to me ). 251 ,485 views only? THIS DESERVES MORE VIEWS ! People nowadays are just attached to other stuff and forget that there are oceans , land , air and the earth itself is still there and needs protection . people often forget this . That`s all I wanted to say . SAVE SEA TURTLES THEY ARE AMAZING CREEATURE THAT CAN`T BE EXTINT FROM EARTH!
That is so cool that they have magnetic minerals in the brain that help guide them from the second they are born and IMPRINT on the MAGNETIC signature on the beach they were born to then come back!! So cool dude
Gotta share. Near the end of this video we can see people marking the eggs in the sand with a black line. If the orientation of the egg is disturbed it will mess with the turtles development. The egg's "position" is maintained this way.
Leatherback turtles have always come to my country's shore to lay their eggs. But nowadays they come here to lay less and less and im disappointed because of "human doings". 😧😥
What if what we thing we know is really wrong? I always wonder that when watching these videos. Other than that great informative video. ✊🏿✊🏿 love it ( wheezy voice from dragon tales)!

Sea turtles truly are survivors. But they can’t survive changes from mankind. Luckily people like me wanna save endangered species like sea turtles.
Turtles are one of my favorite reptiles even sea turtles! Turtle power!🐢🐢🐢🐢
