I am definitely soft cosy lightening from a side light when watching tv...I think a dedicated work space with a desk may make you more productive and you could do your hauls in the room and film also storage is a great idea. I think you would use the room more than you think😊

I love your light. I definitely think you should use the shades. I just bought a rug online and I’m hoping it looks like the picture.
A dressing room is always a nice addition and Pax wardrobes are great for organizing pretty much anything. You have created a lovely home You could always try taking a chair and a small table upstairs and sitting in the area for half an hour, see if it feels right to use solely as an office
I absolutely agree with you on the lamp shades. I have a chandelier in my guest room and it bothered me in that every time I turned on the light, all I saw were glaring bulbs. Purchasing' five shades totally transformed the chandelier and softened the light while providing a more gentle ambiance. Cheers! Darryl

Congratulations!. Your small room is slowly morphing into something quite fabulous and very welcoming. Just because you asked...personally I would remove the picture light, has it throws-off the rest symmetry of the wall. And although you already have fabulous tall ceilings, sometimes it is better not to fill a space (especially with your floor to ceiling panelling, which need to be admired by the occupier of the room.

Guest room is looking absolutely beautiful. As for the office I think shelving on the wall behind where your desk would be I would do, and the surrounding walls you can do closed off shelving for storage for seasonal decor, tools and what not

Sheldon I love my table lamps hate ceiling lights…in my through lounge I have 9 soft lighted blue and white lamps from homesense and they look beautiful and it also gives you a lovely relaxed feeling …keep going…love you ❤️🙏👍
Hi Sheldon. I would use the big light in the guest room because it looks like it’s soft light and it’s so so pretty with the shades. Definitely do all the built ins for your decor and tools etc. you can never have too much storage if you ask me. Can’t wait till your bed comes. ❤
No big light on, brought up where the big light wasn’t used unless decorating. Love the shades on, so much better than just the bulbs showing.you should try Dr Vranjes Reed diffusers, they are gorgeous and they last for ages. Everyone that comes in, asks me what the smell is as it’s beautiful. Well worth the money. Loved this video.
I love this room so much Sheldon. Yes to the lamp shades as it adds more texture like you said and also diffuses the light which gives it more ambience too. I know, it’s a dilemma on how much closed storage to have verses open shelving for styling to make it pretty. I think you can have both given the size of the room, it really depends on your storage needs. You could have closed storage on the bottom and open shelves on the top or some other configuration. With your talent I’m sure it will be both stunning and practical. ❤️ cna t wait to see what you decide❤️
Big main light off when watching movies, especially scary movies 🫣 I agree take the lights down on top, off the wardrobe in the guest room but replace them with a light source that you can not see so the vase is surrounded with a soft glow 💡 regarding the picture light i feel that it is necessary to highlight the pictures (which yes need centring) however it is too high up, looking great, your hair cut and the guest room 🙌🏾

I am definitely not a big light ...living in a cottage we definitely need an overhead light to see properly from time to time ...but noooo it makes me feel ill and I definitely couldn't settle to watch a film with the big light on we have lamps and candles everywhere...even on in rooms we aren't in at the time so the ambience runs through the whole cottage ....lamps all the way 🎉😂
