Well, it will be sad to see the boney man go, but it is understandable. Definitely respect your decision as a creator. The new guy may take a bit to get used to, but after a while there shouldn't be much of an issue at all. Can't wait to see what you have planned for the future!
Yeah I defo sympathize with those that are going to miss the boneman but like I said in the video, it just personally wouldn't feel right with me if I kept him around. I find myself struggling relating to what he represented and again he's just not a good representation of who I am now. This new character I think is a bit more timeless because it's literally just me. But I could see how it would take some getting used to, it is a bit of a drastic shift but I think it's for the best. I feel way more comfortable drawing myself in the artstyle I showed off and I think the new look is fitting for the direction I'm taking the channel in.
@@danhalencool I 100% understand. And I do actually like the art style you went with here. In a weird way it reminds me of “Billy and Mandy”. That’s probably just me tho.
@@casual_villainNope you're absolutely correct about Billy & Mandy. Not only did I love that show growing up but it did influence my new artstyle, same with Ren & Stimpy, Camp Lazlo, and by extension Rockos Modern Life. Also maybe a bit of Courage The Cowardly Dog too.
I don’t think there’s anything shameful or cringey about being goth, alternative, into metal or whatever but then I’m not American and didn’t grow up in a society that treats those things as socially offensive and like” a phase” but rather it’s own culture people accept. Sad to see boney boy go but whatever fits the creator will always be best everytime.

@@danhalencool oh yeah! Now that I think about it, it does also look quite a bit like “Ren and Stimpy”.
Also you have great taste in animation.

I don't see being metal or goth edgy or cringe. It's just that I saw my past self as a bit of a tryhard when it came to that.
lol nice
