I felt like this was a really well done video and really enjoyed watching it, I am definitely subbing now, certainly to best review for these games I have found thus far. Thank you for all your hard work. My only critism (not as if I had to have one) would be; I think you went into Lucius 1 expecting it to be something it wasn't supposed to be and then judged it according to those expectations, I think had you gone in aware of what the game actually was you might not have found so much you didn't like about it.
I also bought a bundle probably for around the same price during Steams autumn sale but this was months or maybe even a few years before the third game came out. Personally I think Lucius 2 is worth picking up on sale, I wouldn't go anywhere near 1 unless if they've made it F2P or at least just dirt cheap, and by the looks of it 3 might be way overpriced. Really the whole reason why I didn't review it was because I didn't want to just flush away $20 for something like that.
@@danhalencool I play the first game all the time it’s awesome so is Lucius 3. When I first started playing Lucius 2 I didn’t like it because I forgot that you can poison people and use acid. So I tried again and got all the way to the Isaac fight.
@@robertdeffenbaugh9004 Ayy you know I can't hate on you for liking Lucius 1 and since you think that 3 is awesome that gives me a little more hope that it might not be as bad as the Steam reviews make it out to be. I honestly thought 2 was way more fun the less I relied on using poison and the more I experimented and came up with clever little traps. It's really fun toying around with that games janky AI and physics.
I played Lucius 1 only. It is a really good idea to make a game out of "Omen" movies but its playability just sucked. I got stuck almost everywhere because of the garbage gameplay. I stopped when I could not just put a rock on the grass but I had to look for the exact pixel on the grass where to put it. That was the last straw. It could be a good game if they fixed at least few things. 1. Highlight items you can pick to your inventory and highlight all the actions you can do. 2. Add description of the rooms in the house on the map. 3. Improve controls of the special abilities.
It's a constant 666 degrees (fahrenheit, of course) down here. Plus Florida humidity, which probably doesn't make a whole lot of scientific sense but what the fuck do I know? I'm just a mint green boneman that plays games.
@@atomicpunch1990 Thank you for bringing this up! Literally just bought Half Life 2: Ep 2 just so I could play this. It's like everything I've ever wanted in a multiplayer FPS.
A Lucius game in the style of Hitman would be really cool
14:24 the answer was two by the way for those you were wondering, and we’re too lazy to pass the screen and do the math themselves.
played this game when I was like 16, immediately sold my soul to satan and have never looked back.
classic lol I tried but couldn't so I just kept the weird personality trait 😈👌

You can obtain the superglue as early as chapter 7.
I bought the bundle on Steam a couple of years ago that had 3 of the games I think it was only like $4.

good shit still waiting for acts review
I've still yet to play it but I'll try to cover it soon. I'm most likely going to feature it in the next indie spotlight episode.
I like your video dude.
