Amazing, totally amazing performance concert . I wish I could have been there in the crowd. Johnny was one awesome and talented artists . I have always enjoyed listening and the bands music
Johnny,Fred and Les together again in Heaven. We play their concerts all the time. We saw them in person on Long Island . Great group. Hall of Fame For sure.
Most bands don't sound anything like their recordings when they do live performances, but this group sounds exactly like their records. I had the privilege of watching their live show on the Concourse of the World Trade Center in 1991. Amazing group of singers and performers. Johnny was the best, and his Brooklyn Bridge band mates are unmatched even by the best of today's recording artists. Mr. Johnny Maestro's passing is a big loss to the music world. May God preserve his soul.
Man, what a voice! One of the greatest. A total natural. And always great backing harmonies. The live performances consistantly prove these guys are the real deal and Maestro is the maestro. None better.
The best voice there ever was in my book. Johnny not only sang with an incredible captivating style (projection, range, clarity & flair), he had a stage presence & demeanor that made his audience feel like his friends. I’m a background harmony kinda guy, but if I was ever granted a wish to sing like anyone, it would be to have a singing voice like Johnny Maestro . Rest In Peace amigo 🙏🏼
Johnny was Number One in my book too, but you just can't forget voices like Jimmy Beaumont (Skyliners), James Sheppard (Heartbeats), Willie Winfield (Harptones) and a few other magical lead singers.
I'm 15 and in love in 1968 when The Worst That Could Happen came out on KTSA San Antonio, Texas. My little girlfriend broke up with me and my heart was crushed as it was the worst that could happen. Love the Doo Whop music.
RIP Johnny! What a great voice. I was there for this concert in Woodbridge. I grew up with this music, The Crests & The Brooklyn Bridge. Johnny should be in the Hall of Fame.
Johnny Maestro had a great range even as he became an "older singer" he and the Brooklyn Bridge were great on this Video. It is such a shame he left us so soon. He is missed and will be for this generation and more to come to hear this group. Johnny has some great company to join in the heavenly choir, the likes of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Glen Campbell, and so many more. Don't worry, heaven will not fill up. there is room for us and all of those ready for the rewards of life ever lasting. Good Bless Johnny Maestro!
I've been watching these videos and listening to this mans amazing voice and it make me so sad to know that when he left that was the end of true rock and roll. I wish I had been able to see Johnny Maestro perform but atleast I have these videos, no comparison I am sure. My heart goes out to his wife and family, truly a great loss, a very classy man.
As I'm watching this remarkable stuff....AND LOVING IT!!....I'm thinking these guys bring with them a legacy of talent;and a level of quality vocals, that has remained consistent even as they aged(very gracefully,I might add)....and stayed that way until the very last note, RIP Johnny and Fred, still missed.
Just when i found out that he was the lead Singer in the crests and the Brooklyn bridge he had past away the same year. I truly loved his voice i grew listening to a lot of doo woop not knowing who that Singer was. The maestro of singing . I hope you sing with the angels.
We had an acapella group from about 1962 til 1967. The first song we learned was Gee by the Crows. The second song we learned was My Juanita, (third was Gloria), and then we were off to the races. Oh man, how I miss those absolutely marvelous days.
@Craig Stripling Two things - Jay Black didn't have the charisma (emotion) in his voice that Johnny had. I liked Jay Black but I loved Johnny Mastrangelo.
It’s 2024. And I’m thankful producers keep videos of Johnny M and Brooklyn Bridge. So enjoying !
Watching one of he greatest groups ever. One of the best lead singers ever.
Amazing, totally amazing performance concert . I wish I could have been there in the crowd. Johnny was one awesome and talented artists . I have always enjoyed listening and the bands music
Sang till the day died. Best ever. Never missed a note.😢

I'm blessed to have memories of this era and this phenomenal voice and sound of Johnny Maestro. Rest in peace.

He has way too much class to be in the Hall Of Fame.
He had the voice of an angel
Good singer and still looks good in this video.

I listen to Johnny at least 3 times a week. Truly one of the greatest voices of all time. Thank you Johnny for leaving us with your tremendous talent.
Very true. Johnny held on to his amazing voice 'til the end. Something that's not very common.
Watching again in 2019

❤ 2021
I remember well Jay Black called Johhny an amature. Ha....! Came back quick to haunt him. Jay opening for Johnny...!
David Blatt aka Jay Black could register on any scale against Johnny.
@Craig Stripling Two things - Jay Black didn't have the charisma (emotion) in his voice that Johnny had. I liked Jay Black but I loved Johnny Mastrangelo.
Muy bueno!!!
]]⁰the ❤
Rest in pease Johnny 😂
Ok
Robert
Watch Nick Costa just as good as Maestro but even b etter on You Tube!!
Imo the Led Zepplin into music to Johnny M. was not indusive to the style of music Johnny does. Dave Clark 5 might have worked better.
Hello, Austin! Could you please tell me what "the Led Zepplin into (?) music to Johnny M." was?
Thank you in advance!
